[Q] Flashing Back to Stock Assistance Please?

Hey guys,
I purchased the Galaxy S5 back in April and now I am selling it so that I can purchase the LG G3. The problem is I'm trying to flash back to stock with Odin and it won't work. I downloaded the stock firmware from Sammobile and loaded it into Odin, put my phone in download mode and hit start and it says "fail." I can't get it to flash. I'm rooted but I haven't installed a recovery or custom rom. Any guidance would really help. I have no idea why I'm getting fail errors.

I remember on previous Galaxy S versions that if you took the OTA update it prevented you from flashing custom roms of flashing back to stock. But I haven't taken an OTA update or anything so I can't figure out why it keeps saying fail? Do you think I need to re-enable knox? If so, can I do that in Supersu? Or is there another problem? Any guidance would really help.

DO NOT TRY TO FLASH THE BL FILE as our bootloader is still locked and it will just fail.
just flash the other 3 files

Reverting to G900AUCU1ANCE from G900AUCU2AND3 (AT&T)

Hi all,
My phone is using G900AUCU2AND3. It has been rooted and I also removed a lot of bloatware with Titanium Backup. Because of this, OTAs are failing.
I would like to flash the stock rom G900AUCU2AND3 again, so I can do that. However, I haven't been able to find it.
I only found G900AUCU1ANCE.
If I flash that ROM with ODIN, since that I'm downgrading, will I run into any issues?

the AND3 software is not out. if you have to fix a hard brick, bootloop or want a fresh start, you will need to downgrade to the ANCE firmware, flashing via odin.

This file, flashed via odin, will downgrade you to stock NCE ( minus the bootloader). Once on NCE you can take the ota update to the latest firmware, NG3:

The file from sammobile includes the NCE bootloader. Since you already updated the bootloader to ND3 you are unable to downgrade the BL back to NCE, hence my file minus the NCE BL.

Unroot and update

OK, I can find how to up date to 5.0 and keep root. How can I unroot and update to 5.0?

Just flash the OTA. But why would anyone want to? If you don't want this phone rooted, sell it. If you unroot and go stock you can never go back to root.

It fails because your rooted. Flash stock Rom first.

Go to the OP scroll down to step 4 in the notes section, download the back to nce firmware. Use odin to flash it in the AP slot. Take the OTAs.

I take it you would leave out the root with towle root part

Rooted previously, Need help getting back to complete stock

Baseband number: N900AUCUCNC2. I have upgraded to Lollipop and some of the leftover root files prevent some apps from working, help?

NC2 is kitkat...can you post a screenshot of your device/about screen? To go back to stock you just need to flash stock firmware with Odin but you need to make sure you flash the right firmware

Unrooting and return to stock

Just bought a used phone on 5.0.2
I just want to unroot and have stock rom and firmware.
What's the best method. Can I just get newest Odin files and flash?
