i need urgent help...
i tried to change the home apk with the z3 apk on one of the threads in here, my phone is rooted (but just that), i deleted the old home and replaced it with the new one, and gave permission ...when rebooted the phone it stock on the animation after the sony logo ,
i need help urgently please , even if i had to reflash the phone, but pleas give me instruction of how , i don;t have any back up of stock rom, , if i'm to reflash the mobile i would prefer it to be non rooted original stock rom

Hi! Guys This is my first post and i need a huge huge help...
I got my sony ericsson walkman w8 phone(my first android)...
I stared playing with the features of android and i learned to root my phone.
I wanted to use some custom rom on it. I did some search and learned how to install custom rom on it.
I tried to install rom called floyo(I think!) and my phone got bricked.
Then i went to this website and did some search and flashed my phone with SEUS.
Then i learned how to install GinderDX android v2.3.7 rom and i installed successfully.
I used for almost 1 week. Then I came to know about KuyaDroid rom.
I thought i was faster then my GDX rom. So what i did was i tried to install that rom..
It said unsuccessful. So ok i thought i will do a back up with an image which i already done with x recovery.
Ok then the phone rebooted with GDX all was fine.
Now i wanted to try again. I hold down the power button and in the drop down menu instead of xrecovery.
I accidentally selected Clockwork mod recovery.
"THE DISASTER HAPPENED".
My phone rebooted and stuck with "Sony Ericsson" at startup..
Ok i thought i will do a flash again with SEUS.
Now i switched of the phone(I took off the battery since it is stuck).
Now i didnt even touch the power button the phone is automatically starting and stuck with "Sony Ericsson".
WTF!
MY SEUS DOESNOT DETECT MY PHONE.
I cant do anything.............
I also searched XDA for solutions but no help!
So i posted a thread in x8 forum since x8 and w8 are identical.
What shall i do....
options...
a) go to sony ericssons service center...
b) figure it out my self...
C) wait for You guys to help me...
d) Destroy my phone and buy a new one...
Please help me..... i want my first android back alive...

Hello, i have an xperia z c6606 rooted 10.3.1.E.0.191 firmware 4.2.2 jellybean and my company is tmobile.
its the water resistant xperia phone so i cannot open the phone, its just abunch of slots on the sides. i dont have a micro sd card but it supports it (if a sd card can help my problem) o and my bootloader is locked
so thats all the information i know about the phone. heres my problem.
i used the "Font Installer ★ Root ★" application from the google play store.
i tried to install dark wedding font and it asked me to restart. after i did i just get the loop reboot where it shows the sony logo then xperia logo then redoes the boot again. im pretty sure it ruined my font folder and made it so i cant start but im not sure on what to do to try to fix it. im new to android and used the kingo one click root so i dont have exact insider knowledge on what to do.
i searched google for answer but either they are outdated (links dont work) or they mention other things in which i cannot figure out what to do.
i have a flash tool from d-h.st/Kb8 (thats a url)
and downloaded a stock rom from forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2511188
the rom is a ftf file and i have no clue what to do with it :3
If anyone could help it will be much appreciated.
(my computer runs ubuntu 12.4/windows 8 incase my computer is needed)
p.s. yes flashtool and rom is on my computer. blah
i just half ashed what i was doing a yolo'ed it and used the flash tool and tried to flash the rom onto my phone while in flash mode. it put the rom on and removed all my stuff which i dont mind. i just have to make sure my phone is fully functional. if not. ill edit this post.
Yup all fixed. sorry for wasting room on the forum. i really was lost. but i yolo'ed and BOOM yolo is the key to all lifes problems.
Hi , i have a Sony Xperia V with locket bootloader from Yoigo ( spanish carrier) i used the xploit to install recovery clockwork mod and root the phone , then recently i wanted to update to 4.3 , i donloaded a zip with the 4.3 and flashed it from the recovery , then the phone didnt start , it got stuck at the beginning ( with black screen) , the update service and the pc companion didn't work , so i used flashtools , putting my phone into flashmode before flashing a ftf file with the original rom from my carrier in the 4.1.2 version. after that , the phone finally booted , but here's where it gets weird , my screen locks as if it was broken , weir colors , ,and a big square around the borders. what can i do to fix it if anything at all can be done.

Photo or screenshot would help; and showing what file you flashed. You most likely flashed a ROM for a different phone. Also, this is the General section. You might want to post question in the Q&A section.

that's how the phone turns on , then the sony logo appears , very pixelated , and then the phone works normally , but with weirds colors and bars in the square.

first I am sorry for starting a new thread but I need help from an expert
I have an xperia Z C6603 , a few days ago the system froze and when I restart it , it boot to android but android is frozen with no response i tried to boot to recovery but no luck
then I flashed a newer stock rom with flashtool and still the same thing
can anyone tell me what is the problem and can it be fixed plz

The only think that came to my mind are:
A) memory is burned,
B) buttons are stuck and constantly are pressed.
C) Sd-card is corrupted (or came lose)
D)Sim-card is corrupted (or came lose)
Metal object in usb/ headphone jack connector to make a contact, try some air-can blower.
Because it is not a software problem , Sorry but I am afraid you will need to buy something new...
Hi everyone, I'm not sure this is the right section but I don't know who I can ask to...
I have an issue with a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact.
I was trying to root it and apparently something went wrong. The phone is stuck in a loop. When I turn it on the screen gets black, than there is the SONY logo. Black again, SONY logo and so on. So in othetr words, it doesn't turn on anymore.
So i tought it was a good idea to do a factory reset, but when I try to access the recovery mode, there is another loop. The TWRP loop.
Something like this:
In the comments there seems to be a solution for the samsung phones, but I haven't found anything related to Sony.
Can someone help me? Has someone had the same problem?

Had it when i tried cm12.1. Flash old kitkat via flashtool, root and install dualrecovery and then ur phone is back to life

Actually, i figured it out and the phone is perfectly working! So thank you very much. Now, I would really like to root it but not without a good guide. Do you guys have any faq that I can follow?
