[Q] Fastboot - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Hey, I had been trying to unlock the boot loader but when i´m in fastboot mode it only stays for seconds in that mode, what can I do?

Same here. My solution:
Download the drivers from the pack in this post. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2090268
Open the device manager before connect the phone to the usb cable.
Follow the procedure: press volume up and connect.
Right click on the device manager when "S1fastboot" appears.
Select update driver.
Select the folder where the drivers from first step are.
If the led goes off and you can't install the driver, go back at the beginning of the update driver window, and unplug and replug the phone. If you act with good timing, you get the driver installed.

[Q] My Galaxy S not booting after updating via kies

Today I updated my phone using kies. After the update was done the phone tried to boot but it couldn't get past the screen that says "Galaxy S GT-I9000".
So far I have tried to enter recovery/download modes, with no success.
Tried to connect the phone on my computer*, which recognized it (you could hear the "bleep" sound windows makes when a device is connected through usb.) but it didn't appear at Computer menu. Also kies recognized that there was phone connected but it keeps saying "Connecting" under Connected Devices tab.
*I'm using 64bit Windows 7 Ultimate
You'll need to either build or buy a Jig to get it into download mode and then you can reflash with Odin.
Did you ever use a custom rom on the phone? I assume not, but want to make sure.
If not, then you at least have warranty (don't you?) and can send it back for Samsung to revive your phone. Should you consider this, it would probably be wisest to not even try to repair your phone yourself.
However if you want to, here are three tips I found:
1) Connect your phone to your computer, open adb and type 'adb reboot download'. Your phone should reboot into download mode.
2) Originally posted here with a link to the mentioned ZIP: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=728754 (look under "Manual Method")
For people that don't have the 3 button combo i made a script and a quick tutorial for doing it with ADB
ADB reboot recovery:
a) Download the easy reboot recovery.zip script and unzip it somewhere
b) In your phone's settings make sure USB Debugging is on (in settings -> applications -> development)
c) Connect phone with USB cable to pc
d) Wait until all the drivers are installed
e) Start reboot recovery.bat
f) The phone will now start in recovery
g) Follow step 7 of the normal tutorial
- If this does not work make sure USB debuging is enabled, kies is totally closed, the phone is connected and all the drivers are installed
3) This is from androidforums.com:
- Plug USB cable
- Remove battery
- Press AND HOLD volume down, power and menu key at the same time
- While pressing and holding the mentioned buttons, reinsert the battery (quite fiddly, I know)
- Let go of the buttons and you should go into Download mode.
Please tell me if anything helped.
Thanks for your help guys!

Didn't work, adb gave me error "device not found", which would probably mean that the device isn't properly connected to my computer even though Windows did that bleep voice.

This is something I didn't even try because I can't turn my phones USB debugging on. (can't access my settings )

Didn't work.
And no I have never used any custom ROMs on my phone. Probably taking my phone to the place I bought it from and see if I can get it fixed under warranty. Unfortunately that means I'm not going to have a phone to use for a while since I have no time to go there until sometime next week. If I can't get this thing fixed under warranty I'll probably just order a JIG and fix it that way.
If someone has more ideas please post them anyway, I want to fix this problem as fast as I can.
maybe a stupid question but you know how to get in dowload mode......
vol. down / home / power....
here are samsung drivers for your phone, uninstall everythin having to do with kies and install samsung drivers.
see if you can connect to ODIN now.

PLEASE HELP, Computer is not recognizing my Galaxy S

Just got my phone into download mode after using the jig, and i have been able to connect to my pc before i seriously F'd my phone by messing with a setting in cwm. I have downloaded and redownloaded drivers from samsungs website, along with installing Kies and that does not recognize my phone. (also i would like to add i am unable to access the phone since it wont turn on without the jig, without jig it just goes into a boot loop.)
THis is what happens when i plug my phone into the computer:
plug in usb (to computer and phone)
let it do its thing to recognize device...
pop-up stating "unknown device" so i click it.
then right-click the unknown device which opens up another window
from this menu it shows Install driver, Update driver and 3 other options.
when i press install driver and update driver, it tells me that the driver is already installed in "device unknown."
At this point i throw computer at wall after 2 days of trying to figure this out.
so messed around and the problem only happens when it is in download mode. but when it is not in download mode it shows up but no use to me because i am trying to flash it to stock. soo i dont know why the error 43 only shows up when in download mode. any help would be great.

Just follow this to update the drivers http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27205737&postcount=4571 , same thing as what you have done earlier but this time , when it searches for new drivers, you can do the selection for it.
But first reboot your PC after pulling out power cord ...and try the quick solutions first
Ok sen, so i tried to install the driver manually but i am stuck at the part where i have to install something on my phone to allow it to sync with the computer, since my phone will not even boot up. I am starting to think my dear Capi is going to be a paper weight =(

C5306 Fastboot - doesn't work

I have a Xperia SP model C5306 on Fido in Canada that I cannot for the life of me get into fastboot mode. The phone is carrier unlocked (by unlockthatphone) and I've verified it on another carrier. I have also rooted the phone with the doomlord exploit successfully.
When I hold the volume up button and plug the device into my Win 7 Pro 64 bit PC the LED goes red for a second then orange once the battery charging icon appears.
The phone seems to have no problem getting into flash mode but fastboot is a no-go.
To get into fastboot you need an UNLOCKED bootloader, it is not the same thing as a SIM unlocked phone.

Based on all of the instructions I've read fastboot is required in order TO UNLOCK the bootloader, including those from Sony. If you can't fastboot until the bootloader is unlocked how do you unlock the bootloader?
Have you a SIMLOCK? Have you became that phone from your provider?? it can be that the provider disabl the fastboot that you not can disabl the Simlock

I bought the phone from a provider but I have carrier unlocked the device through an unlock code that I bought from Unlockthatphone.com
Is that different from a Simlock?
Have you installed the drivers yet?
This phone is quite funny, it restarts after a few seconds of inactivity in Fastboot/Flash mode
Catching my breath, letting it go, turning my cheek for the sake of the show

I have the drivers on my PC, I downloaded the ones from Sony and replaced them in the SDK folder. I haven't got to the point where my computer asks me to install the drivers. I'll try this.
649 34535926
So when I hold down the volume up button and connect my phone to the PC via USB I see a green LED (fully charged) on the device and my device manager tells me that there is a Sony Ericsson seehcri Control Device connected. If I navigate to the Driver information of that device the driver is pointing at the Windows System 32\drivers\seehcri.sys driver.
When I try to update that driver to the Fastboot driver it says there are no 64-bit compatible drivers in that folder. Are there 64-bit drivers for fastboot?

Okay, Sony's fastboot drivers are not signed, so to install the drivers, you need to disable driver signature enforcement in Windows first.
Look here for more info: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2354721
Try this method.
Install Drivers
Fastboot Mode - Blue Light - Turn phone off>Press and Hold Volume UP button while plugging in USB Cable> Release the button (from being held) after the blue light.
Flash Mode - Green Light - Turn phone off> Press and Hold Volume DOWN button while plugging in USB Cable> Release the button (from being held) after the green light.
Common problem is it doesn't stay too long on specific mode
You will need drivers try downloading Xperia Z driver here - http://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers/xperia-z-driver/
(Optional in case you can't Install the driver correctly)
Install Driver first
1.Extract the downloaded file. (If it is in Zip file) in a place where you can easily locate it.
2.Connect your phone (turned on) to your computer
3. Assuming that you have My Computer Icon on your desktop.. Right Click it > Manage> Device Manager (Located at the left tab) > Android Phone> android ADB interface > Right click> Update Driver Software > Browse my computer for the driver software and locate where you put the XZ driver.
4.Done!.
It worked for me, hope it will work for you, too.
Guys, you can correct me if I am wrong..

My major problem is that i never get a blue light when I hold down the volume up and plug it in. My computer makes that sound like a uSB device had been unplugged in a couple seconds.
Also, I download the drivers, and with the device powered on, plug it into the PC. What I see in the Device manager is Sony sa0108 ADB Interface Driver. If I disable adb on the device I get nothing in the device manager.
Flashtool will not allow me to do the adb fastboot reboot either.
This is extremely frustrating!

Stuck at Fastboot while Rooting

Hi All,
I installed all the drivers for ADB (do I need some for Fastboot?). While rooting my fire does not want to wake up after going into fastboot mode. I can manually turn it off and on back again, but cannot finish rooting as the command shell is waiting for the device to boot and it never boots up.
Also, I cannot hear the device plug in sound in windows while my fire goes into fastboot mode (while I can clearly hear one when watching YT video regarding rooting instructions)... That may be a clue?
Thanks for any help. And Big thanks for all the developers!
Also, I tried to update the drivers one more time to see if they were the problem. And after uninstalling device and pluging it back in, Windows allows me to choose MTP USB device only... When I point the right path to .inf file it gives me an error of:
---------------------------
Select Device
---------------------------
The folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with Windows for x64-based systems.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
Any ideas?
Ok, I managed to install the drivers by turning off the mtp connection in developer settings. But that did not help... Still getting stuck in fastboot mode.

just root with Supersu.zip in twrp
[CUSTOM RECOVERY] TWRP Recovery
Sent from my KFFOWI using Tapatalk
I managed to root using root.bat
I somehow installed fastboot drives and I did it, when I pressed vol up and power button. I acted fast to install the drivers. Then I just followed instructions and gained full root.
Thanks again developers! I shall donate so you can have a few drinks on me

[HELP] Problems trying to flash to stock, to flash to Android N

So I am currently rooted on a Motorla Nexus 6 in Android 5.1.1, I started up the Nexus Root Toolkit and when it finishes downloading stock Android 60.1 to restore my device ready for Android N it sends the adb reboot bootloader command but my device then says in the bootloader menu "Connect USB Data Cable"
Since I cannot post the image link of what the toolkit says then I will just write it below...
"FASTBOOT device was not found
STEP #1: Connect your device via USB:
- Utilize the OEM USB cable if available
- Try an alternative USB port.
STEP #2: Manually Boot your device into bootloader mode:
- Power your device down completely:
- Press and hold the volume down button, them press and hold the power button t the same time until the phone turns on. You'll see the word 'start' with an arrow around it/
STEP #3: Install drivers:
- Utilize the 'initial setup' if you not done so already.
- USB debugging is NOT required for connectivity in bootloader mode.
- Just follow the the instructions in the guide for configuring your device in bootloader mode.
- For example: if you are using driver solution #3, start on step 7.
Alternatively you may just need to recheck connection.
Press 'OK' to recheck device connectivity.
Press 'Cancel' to exit this script"
If anyone has any info on how to get around or resolve this issue as I cannot proceed with the stock flash unless the Fastboot connectivity is working, then that would be great
(if it helps I already have Android Studio installed with all its components)

did you install adb and fastboot onto your computer? it doesnt matter if you have the driver installed if you dont have the actual program installed onto your computer. and anyways, learn to do it right instead of using a toolkit, its very easy.

please dont close the thread, people always have issues, maybe someone will read this thread and it will help them.
and about toolkits, i dont recommend using them, but feel free to. its just many dont take the time to learn to do it the "right" way. but if you do know it, a toolkit is alright usually.
