Never noticed them on mine. Are they visible during Screen ON time? If yes then better get a replacement just to be safe.

Similar thread is here

It is a little cheap. That's why only cost 180$.

[Opinion] Samsung i900 Screen?

I've tried asking this on Modaco due to there being no i900 forums here but Modaco's a waste of bleedin' time!
Someone's just chucked their old Omnia i900 my way and I was going to have a play with different ROMs on it.
However, the screen's got a fault - two black lines across it

Did this happened after or before flashing?
Was the phone in good working consitions before flashing?
Did you even flashed that phone?
Is it new or used?
if flashed, have you tried flashing back to stock?
It's an old phone that been given to me. It's never been flashed and I've tried a full reset. Thanks for any help.

Your quote "Modaco's a waste of bleedin' time!"
But yet your still going to get your roms from there.
modaco, xda, ppc geeks, omnia hub, and countless others are all GREAT sites. So sorry the seas didn't part at the snap of your finger.
good day.
It's a bad case of some dead pixels. Nothing you can do about it.
had this on one of my omnias, faulty screen, they're easy enough to get new ones from ebay iirc.

I am sure that someone may or may not be able to get this to work with the PLAY. Only thing I can see off hand is you would need the large back cover thats used for the 2600-3600mha batteries for this phone as it has lots of room in the back cover.

Ah..... good old GFan, XDA for China. GFan is actually a good site, granted I do see a lot of XDA stuff posted on there. One of my friends made a ROM on XDA and someone on GFan stole it posted it and said it was theres, not knowing he had a GFan account as well. Quickly resolved.

I'm not sure what could cause that problem. I would boot into recovery or fastboot to see if the problem still exists. If it does, this would lead me to believe that it is a hardware issue. To be sure, try installing a different ROM.

It is happening in recovery mode as well.
I'm tempted to say it's a hardware issue since it appears in Recovery too.
Did you ever open up your phone to replace the battery?

yup, 2 months ago.
Maybe open it up and re-seat the cables?
did you get any moisture in there? or drop your phone? it's obviously a hardware issue if it shows up in recovery too. Looks like you busted the lcd display somehow. You'll probably need to buy a new screen.
Definitely a hardware issue. Sorry man.

You can use swappa as an avenue to sell it if you don't want to deal with personal information being given through messaging on here.

[Q] Best shot feature

Anyone know how to use this feature? I'm looking in the gallery at some pictures I took with the phone, but I don't see an option. Is there something I need to turn on in the settings?
Also trying to use it, but it never suggests the "best shot"...
It happened once for me. It's more hit or miss I think. But what I think is best shot will occur mainly with a person. So if the person moves while you're taking a photo, it'll have another photo that may be better

I'm fairly certain it's only an active feature. When you go to take a picture, it actually takes multiple pictures and you can choose right then which is the best. I know the HTC One had something similar to this, and there's a video showing how theirs works, so I'm assuming it's the same on the X2.
I'm going with the guess that they haven't rolled out that feature to their camera or gallery app yet.

It is definitely on the phone, I've gotten it once. Their recommended picture had a slightly less blurry hand then on what I snapped
It didn't ask me after I took the photo but when I went to view the image?

It cant be removed and its a pure hardware issue... Replacing the whole front panel of your Moto x will fix your problem... and the front panel will cost you the same price as the moto x is now.. So buy a new moto x instead...
