Download this firmware 6.09.401.10 flash it in bootloader. You can rename the firmware to firmware.zip or type the entire name in the command line.
Code:
[B][I]adb reboot bootloader[/I][/B]
After that, type:
Code:
[B][I]fastboot oem rebootRUU [/I][/B]
NOTE: You should see a silver HTC logo come up on your phone after executing this command.
NOTE: if this command freezes, just disconnect the USB cable and hold the power and volume down buttons until the device reboots. Then, repeat the steps above again.
Finally:
Code:
[B][I]fastboot flash zip firmware.zip[/I][/B]
Repeat the same command: IMPORTANT
Code:
[B][I]fastboot flash zip firmware.zip[/I][/B]
NOTE: The green bar on the phone may not go to 100% of the bar ... but If you see completed on your computer command window, wait for a few seconds and move on.
Last Step:
Code:
[B][I]fastboot reboot[/I][/B]

Sorry you can't flash both of them
1 is not for htc one
2 is much lower version so this will fail anyway
You have to do
go to fastboot flash firmware 6.09.401.10 >> unlock boot loader >> Install Custom Recovery TWRP 2.6.3.3 in fastboot >> reboot phone
Download This backup http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2224752
Extract and copy files to TWRP/BACKUPS/SH44TW901053/Stock
reboot to custom recovery
restore backup >> reboot Bootloader >> flash firmware 6.09.401.12
be patient I Wrote in short so you have to search & read @ xda
you will get full stock software 6.09.401.12
Remove imei and serial no from 1st post
thanks for reply
when I reach the this point I am not sure that I follow you right

Hey guys
I have the international and unlocked version of the HTC ONE. Since the 4.3 Update for the European Models (I am from Europe) has released a while ago an I did not recieve the update i tried to install it on my own (mistake)
I followed the instructions of this website (link in the txt file). I installed the x.xx.401.x WWE version which seemed to be the right one i picked the 3.62.401.1 firmware and flashed it via fastboot. After doing that my phone won't start up anymore.
I tried to install the stock rom via RUU but it does not work.
I can still reach the bootloader but can't flash a new rom because my phone is not rooted.
Yesterday i spent 6 hours looking for a solution but nothing seems to work.
Does anyone know a solution?
Obviously I am a noob. So if You need any more information please tell me.
Thanks in advance

1- can you post a "fastboot getvar all" (remove IMEI and s/n before posting)
2- confirm if your bootloader is unlocked

You can download and flash this Guru Reset ROM: http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/guru_reset_m7_3-62-401-1-zip/ (flash just like a custom ROM, in recovery)
If you want to receive OTAs later then you need to select "stock recovery" in the installer.
You may want to consider S-Off. (But really up to you)
Let me know if you need more help, and hit the Thanks button if I've helped

no mate, standard custom recovery flash, so first, you need to get yourself a custom recovery from one of the threads on xda, either CWM or TWRP, CWM is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2173863 don't have the one for TWRP readily available, sorry.
Once you download the recovery____.img place it in your adb folder, then reboot to bootloader/FASTBOOT USB, then in the command prompt:
fastboot erase cache
fastboot flash recovery <name of recovery>.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
-> enter RECOVERY (this should show you the custom recovery)
now push the Guru ROM to your phone:
adb push Guru_Reset_M7_3.62.401.1.zip /data/media/ <- this will take 5 to 10 minutes
in recovery, select "install zip" -> "choose zip" -> select Guru_Reset_M7_3.62.401.1.zip
go through the installer, here's an EXAMPLE select the options you want (stock recovery & root, whichever suites you): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47085377&postcount=44
thanks for your help!
It worked!!! I have a second birthday now
thank your very very much!

Hi,
I have to send in my HTC One for repair but it's rooted so I decided to go back to stock settings. I did this but I screwed up and now I can't use adb (USB debugging is off) and there is no ROM on my HTC One. Is there ANY way to solve this? Fastboot works fine, but when I try to boot it just goes in bootloader everytime.
Thanks a lot already!

as long as you can boot in bootloader and use fastboot, you should be fine. Boot your phone in bootloader and go to fastboot usb
post the output of this command:
Code:
fastboot getvar all
except imei/sn
Do you have a custom recovery installed?

I had Android Revolution installed, but it's gone from my internal storage and the only thing on it right now is a wrong RUU.
So you need to boot into twrp and push a custom rom. Your options:
1. Adb push
2. Adb sideload
3. OTG cable
There are couple of guides how to use 1,2.

Hi all.
I have a problem with updating my HTC One
The thing is:
A year ago I've rooted my phone, it was S-ON.
A couple days ago i wanted to return to STOCK.
I've relocked my bootloader (now it says Temperd , Relocked), put stock recovery and installed Stock ROM (4.4.2, software number: 5.11.401.10).
Today I got update to Android 4.4.3, witch I've downloaded. But when i click on Install, it reboots into recovery and starts to update.
But after a couple of seconds it stops and on diplay apears red triangle with exclamation point!
And the update is not installed...
Any help or links would do great!!
THANKS

Thanks... I've instaled the ROM you recomended... And now the phone's bootloader is relocked...
But, now i have Android 4.2.2 on my phone...
And when i check for updates it says that there are no updates... (but there is 4.4.3.)
How to update it?
Thanks
EDIT: After restarting the phone everything works...
THANKS for help ... :highfive:
I have an HTC One M7 (India, so I am guessing its the Asian version), unrooted and running the stock ROM. Few days back I got the update and upgraded to Lollipop. Everything was running fine until one morning, when suddenly the phone powered off and rebooted, whereupon it would just boot to the splash screen.
I tried the following methods but all I can still see is the splash screen (HTC logo, powered by android) -
1) Power down +Vol up to simulate battery pull (nothing happened)
2) Power down+ Vol down - reached recovery and tried clear cache (nothing happened)
3) Gave the phone to HTC Repair, only to be told that they will have to replace the whole motherboard, and asked for an exorbitant amount.
Can anyone help me out and suggest what can be done? I have been told that I can try flashing a new RUU, but I am unaware how to get hold of the proper one. Is it true?

post the output of "fastboot getvar all" (remove imei and serialno before posting).
Flashing a ruu could indeed fix your phone.

Make sure your bootloader is locked or relocked if its unlocked re-lock it:
Code:
fastboot oem lock
download this ruu and save it in the same folder you have fastboot on your computer.
Download this version of fastboot and save it in the same folder you already have fastboot on your computer <---- important, flashing the ruu will not work using the "normal" fastboot. You must use this one.
with your phone booted in bootloader / fastboot usb mode, reboot in ruu mode:
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
***Don't forget RUU in capital letters (case sensitive).
Your phone will now reboot in ruu mode, you'll see a black screen with silver HTC logo.
Flash the ruu (usinf htc_fastboot):
Code:
htc_fastboot flash zip PN07IMG_M7_U_L50_SENSE60_MR_hTC_Asia_WWE_7.21.707.105_Radio_4T.35.3218.16_10.33Q.1718.01D_release_425267_signed.zip
Wait for the ruu to flash. Phone should reboot once during the process. Wait for fastboot to confirm the ruu was flashed successfully.
Reboot the phone:
Code:
fastboot reboot
PS. RUU file was uploaded by @seilogeo, please take a second to tanks him in his ruu collection thread here

Whoa!
Thanks a lot mate. I will try it today once I get back from work and let you know.
Just one question -
Do I have to manually type in this code? -
Code:

you can use Tab on your keyboard to auto complete the command e.g:
type: "htc_fastboot flash zip PN07IMG" then press Tab key and it will auto-complete the file name (will add the missing: _M7_U_L50_SENSE60_MR_hTC_Asia_WWE_7.21.707.105_Radio_4T.35.3218.16_10.33Q.1718.01D_release_425267_signed.zip)
or copy paste the command like suggested above (CTL + C / CTL + V doesn't work in the command prompt, use the mouse right button to manually select "paste")

EDIT: It seems, that my powerbutton has failed. The phone jumped into bootloop after taking screenshot (vol UP + power). Despite clicking, it seems that it is stuck in "pressed" position. After pressing the button against desk corner really hard, I've managed to "unstick" the button, and now the phone is charging. I'm going to download all data, and let the phone enjoy the well deserver rest on a shelf.
Hi, I've experienced issue similar to OP.
I was playing music, when my stock, unrooted, s-off lollipop Htc One M7 rebooted all of sudden and jumped into bootloop.
It vibrates - white screen with HTC logo - after 5 seconds turns black and restarts.
This sequence continued no matter what I tried:
1) Vol DOWN + POWER - it enters HBOOT for moment, but without touching anything the phone reboots again. I can navigate menu very briefly - up only, but it restarts again without touching power button.
2) Vol UP + POWER / Vol UP + Vol DOWN + power - no difference in behaviour
This continued for at least 3 hours until the battery depleted.
I was hoping that draining the battery would help and phone will escape the loop.
False hopes, after connecting, phone charges for minute or two (without showing the battery sign) and enters the loop again as described above.
As the battery is flat now, after disconnecting from charger, it loops once or twice and goes black again.
Is this the end?

Looks like Unknown IMEI and Baseband. Flash a CM12 Rom. That should get you past the lock screen.
Go to Settings>About>Phone Identity, check the IMEI is it displayed as unknown?
Also check baseband in Settings>About>Software Information>More, also unknown?
Unfortunately this is normally a hardware issue. You can try flashing an RUU or firmware.zip but if neither of these work its most likely a hardware fault.
Can you tell me which firewater.zip can I trt to flash on my device ?
I am try alot to flash stock ruu but every time I ger signature issue

All I've been able to find is an OTA. You can extract the firmware from the OTA.zip. Are you running the Stock Rom. Or do you have a custom Rom instslled?
OTA can be downloaded here http://d-h.st/oNE open the zip on your pc. And extract the " firmware.zip" to your fastboot folder. Then you can flash it with fastboot but first we need to know about the Rom you have

Okay, because your rom is custom your device will not boot after you have flashed the firmware. As the firmware will restore your stock boot.img and recovery. So you will need to restore your rom after flashing the firmware.
To flash the firmware you will need to lock your bootloader because your s-on. Make sure the firmware.zip is in your fastboot folder then connect your device with your pc in the bootloader connected with fastboot usb. Now in the fastboot command line type
Code:
fastboot erase cache
fastboot oem lock
fastboot reboot-bootloader
The device should reboot to the bootloader which should now show ***RELOCKED***
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
---case sensitive---^^^
Your phone will reboot to a black screen with silver HTC logo. This is ruu mode we can now flash the firmware .
Code:
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
The first flash is just a pre-update. The screen will go off and then return to ruu mode. Flash the zip again immediately.
Code:
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
The second flash will flash the firmware , the progress bar on the screen will not reach 100% this is normal as long as the command line has finished it's output it's done.
Code:
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Once that's done unlock your bootloader with your Unlockcode.bin flash your custom recovery and restore your rom. Then reboot and check the state of the imei and baseband problem. :good:

This appears to be an ruu, though it's in zip format so may not work with your s-on device. Definitely worth a try I would say. You can flash it with exact same procedure as the firmware. But no need to unlock and flash rom after it should boot strait up as thee ruu contains rom and firmware. I hope it works for you. But it seems this may be a hardware problem

The OTA update i was received from the HTC from software updates was from 7.19.1402.1 to 7.19.1402.2
I had quite the same problem but i have not installed a Custom ROM, i have a stock rom 5.0.2 before an automate OTA update i have unlocked the bootloader and was playing with the device and changing the boot logo and shutdown logo (that was done successfully) and adding european patches for the blinkfeed.
Then i checked for software updates and i wont installed it and the phone booted in recovery clockmod and didnt do anything.
I was searching how to force to install the OTA update and i finally updated using the firmware.zip that was inside the OTA update ,which included the boot.img, recovery.img and etc..
After the installation the phone was stuck in boot logo.
The steps that i did in order to confront the situation was :
1. i have download the RUU.zip for 4.4.2 but i wasnt able install it following the fastboot oem rebootRUU as i was getting an error with explanation that i have newer version installed.
2. I have tried to install the EU RUU but i need to change the CID , but i cant as far as my device is S-ON.
3. I have tried to flash the boot.img again but no success
After any attempt the device was booting with black screen, whenever i tried to flash a boot.img it was booting with the boot logo.
Please advice me what to do because i have tried many thing and i dont know what to try now!!!
Thank you in advance !!
