[Q] help with Kindle fire X43Z60 not booting up - 7" Kindle Fire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I see some similar threads in this forum but nothing that was suggested helps, so I thought I'd create a new question:
I got a kindle fire X43Z60 that is stuck at boot. I was told it had a problem with the charging port that needed to be replaced. I'm assuming after a while a lot of jiggling was needed to charge it and even that stopped working after a while.
I purchased a main board off of ebay, the board was described as from a broken kindle and but was tested and was in working condition. I replaced the old board with the new one but the symptoms are exactly the same. Then I bought a replacement battery off ebay, but new battery did not help either.
I don't have the original charger for the kindle but have multiple micro USB chargers and I assume one of them would work (from Galaxy S4, original nook, others).
The way it looks (with new and old, battery and main board), is that when I press the power button initial "kindle fire" shows up and then disappears. When I press and hold the power button, the "kindle fire" logo disappears, I let the button go, then the logo appears again, disappears for a second and it appears again but now there's this graphical effect rolling over the logo as if it was booting up. At some point after it just powers off abruptly. Occasionally I'm able to boot it up all the way using that method and it would stay on for a minute until a message would appear "are you sure you want to power down" and it would power down without me having a chance to respond. It kind of looks like the battery is drained. When I do boot it up all the way the battery indicator shows it as not nearly drained.
When I hook the kindle up to a PC using USB cable, the initial kindle fire logo just appears and disappears in a loop. I dont see the kindle being visible to the PC.
What else can i try to fix it?

Is there nobody that knows solution to this, or at least give me a hint where to look?

You could simply google it
I think you have to call Amazon's Customer Service.

[Q] HTC ONE first charge loop problem

Hi!
Just got my HTC One - and here's my problem: A charge-start-vibration-loop-cycle...
I plug it in wit the included AC adapter and USB cable After about 5 sec it vibrates and shows the HTC logo on a white screen. Then it turns black. Then, after a couple of minutes it vibrates and shows the same welcome-screen, then turns black etc etc -> loop. Buttons and screen are both not responding.
EDIT: It never did anything but flash me that start up screen "HTC quietly brilliant"...The quick start quide says that "The battery in your phone hasn’t been charged yet. Please use the supplied power adapter to do a full charge before you start using your phone" - but the continued vibration seems just very odd...
I tried other USB adapters but same result. I cannot imagine this is the way it is meant to operate, but believes it is a sign my battery came too flat to boot, even when plugged in. I'll leave it on till tomorrow... I have never used HTC before and this really bothers me, even if it works tomorrow... Anybody had similar experiences? Is there anything to do about this other than wait and see? Is this normal?
Thanks

Has it ever started up so that you can use it? If not, you've got a defective phone. Take it back.
I would try again when it's fully charged. If you still experience the problem (even after you do a soft reset by holding the power button for 10 seconds) I'd just go back to the store and exchange it, since it'll probably be a lemon.

Nope - never did anything but show that start up screen "HTC - Quietly brilliant" for 2 sec - then it turns black.
I might use my return option and exchange it for a Galaxy S4 - at least it has a exchangeable battery - this is not a trustwurty first time experience with HTC...

DO NOT Get a GS4..... my brother has it and it lags sooooooo much. Stick with the One and you'll not regret it.

Help With Kindle Fire- Possibly Bricked

I have a Kindle Fire. Don't know anything beyond that other than a 7" screen (diagonally).
A few months ago I attempted to root this thing and jacked it all up. All it does now is go to a stagnant screen that has the Kindle Fire logo. If I hold the power button long enough (30 sec or so) I can get it to turn off. Also, the computer does not recognize the Kindle nor will it load the drivers for it.
I purchased a fast boot cable but no luck- still goes to the same screen. Is this thing done or can it be resurrected?
As you might have already figured out, I'm no electronic guru.
Can anyone help or shall I use it as a coaster.
If the fastboot cable is doing you no good, then you're out of luck. I would recommend trying to return it to Amazon.

Please help noob user: Unrooted kindle fire hd 7 bootloop with broken power button

I have been having problems opening my device for months now because the power button isn't working anymore for me. So when I open my Kindle I just usually plug the charger. Then one day, I don't know what happened, when I opened my device it was so slow and the launcher (original) is always not responding. So when I finally manage to go to Settings > Device > Restore Factory settings... my account was deregistered and I waited for it to reboot. When it did, it was the same. I didn't think that the Reset settings I did, worked. My power button is broken, right? So what I did next, I opened the back case of the device and tried to push the power button with a pin, then all of a sudden it restarted and ended up being stuck with the Kindle Fire logo. Anyone could help me with this problem? I'm still hoping that it could still be fixed. Please reply, any help would be much appreciated. (My KFHD is the first gen btw)
and I couldn't reboot again the device, it's still stuck with the logo

X98 air 3G stuck on Boots-Screen (BIos-Logo)

My Micro-USB was broken, so i solderd a new one at the board.
First it loads, but after the first day of use the Battery seems not to be charged (no flash-icon in the Battery).
So I disambled again, and resolder some of the USB-Pins. I've also removed the + pol of the Battery, and solderd it back to the board after finish my work.
Now if I plugin the AC, Tablet wake up, but only shows the "American Megatrends"-Bios Logo. Then tablet seems to freeze.
I still can shutdown the Tablet, If I press and Hold the PWR-Button for 10 Seconds, but If I restart the Tablet, same thing happend like described before.
Any Idea, what may the Problem?
Help is highly appreciated.
Can anybody give a hint?
May there a way to debug the Boot-Process in this early state (maybe with adb) ??
Display is ok... because it's freeze on Bios-Logo it may be an error of the Bios themself, or broken cable so that the bios get wrong hardware-information?!
Help guys, don't leave me hanging on this!

Kindle Fire 7" - 3rd Generation (Soho) Stuck at Logo Screen, Possibly Bricked

I was given an old Kindle Fire HD 7" 3rd Generation KFSOWI - Soho completely stock and was playing with it a bit and decided to try the KingRoot app (NOT KingORoot). It was going along and got to 35% then said it failed and asked if I wanted to try again. I clicked try again. Thats when everything went downhill. It rebooted on its own then displayed the all white Kindle Fire logo then moved to the brighter white and orange logo with the glimmer moving across the screen. There it stays now. It wont go any further.
I have tried to use Vol - and PWR with it turned off to try to get to Recovery or Vol + and PWR for Fastboot but after the all white logo it just shuts off. Its as if the recovery utility is no longer there.
I do have a Fastboot/Factory cable I made a while ago and when I plug that in it does get to Fastboot mode. However in ADB on my desktop it wont see it there. If I plug in a standard USB cable to the Kindle and let it go to the white n orange logo then ADB will see it and brings up the Serial number but instead of saying "device" it says "unauthorized".
I am seriously at a loss right now as I have been googling to to fix this since it happened and all the ready made utilities are for other generation devices.
I have tried the usual holding the power button for 60 seconds to turn it off and then try turning it back on but nothing works.
Im just not sure what can be done with I cant get to recovery and ADB either wont see it or says its unauthorized.
PLEASE HELP!

Classic FireOS boot hang. Tough to fix on older (pre 5th gen) devices that do not offer a way to reload FireOS from stock recovery.
Unfortunately, this is not the correct forum for your device (this thread is for 5th & 7th gen Fire 7). You'll want to repost your question here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/kindle-fire-hd
