Phone and watch disconnecting - LG G Watch R

HI all
For the first time today after having the watch a week i noticed little cloud symbol on my watch, i then looked at phone and noticed android wear was disconnected. Yes i simply pressed connect and all is well again, just curious if this happens to anyone else?

Very often since 5.01 update

I don't have this normally but noticed yesterday that the connection broke when the battery of the watch fell under 20%, is this normal?

[Q] Phone plus wifi on = overheat

I have my htc hd7 for 4 days now and i had no problem with the phone so far except a few hours back, when i left my wifi on (i usually turn it off after using) while i continued with my work on my computer. Suddenly the phone vibrated and restarted itself in front of me, i picked up the phone and felt that the lower back of the phone was quite hot.. Turning off the wifi seems to have allowed the phone to cool and no random restarts thereafter.. Anyone encountered the same?
I used wifi for 4 hours (after that the batt was empty) on my hd7 and it was only a little warm and it didn't reset it self .
No such problem here
No problems here. I leave Wi-Fi on all the time when at home, for many hours sometimes, with no overheating issues or random resets.
Ok.. Must be something else that I did.. Anyway I noticed that the phone has notification LED light for missed called but not for unread text messages. Any1 knows how to enable it?
No problem here either. Use wifi as soon as I get it in range.
Mine does this to. It gets super hot at the bottom especially when wifi is on. Im guess that is where the CPU is or the WiFi chipset. About time to exchange.

I noticed this twice. I plugged it to an ac outlet and it began to sync with Zune on PC. I was adding a bunch of new playlists and after a while I caught it restarting. At first i was excited; i thought T-Mobile had sent out an update or something. picked up the phone to embrace the new goodies and then felt the warmth of the phone.
I turn off wifi now to prevent Zune sync unless I need it.

[Q] Help - Start Problems after Upgrade to 5.1.1

Just received my OTA upgrade.
Everything went well up to the point were it says - Android is starting. It counts up to 51 and then says Starting Applications and then immediately (shown for half a second) - Shutting Down.
This goes on and on every time I restart the watch.
In addition, it gets so hot that I think it will melt.
Any ideas how to fix that?

I'm experiencing the same issue. I hope that someone has some ideas on how to fix it.
Let it rest for an hour. Then try again. Works for me.
Sent from my A0001 using XDA Free mobile app
As above. I think it's heat related. I had similar when I was flashing the stock images from scratch. I let it cool down then boot it up again and it was fine after that.
I am sorry, but nothing helped.
Sit and Wait didn't help. Waited over night, same result the other day.
I also wiped the watch from Recovery. For just one time the watch started and demanded more at least 20% power, so I charged it and moved on with the configuration, but all of a sudden the watch turned off.
Since then, after several wiping tries, I had a new behaviour. Watch started with the 4 colored dots, after about 2 min just turned off without showing any other display.
Any other ideas?

@super_joe any luck?
The sit and wait method ended up working for me as well.
I too had the same issue. After restarting the watch it kept shutting down. Then as last attempt I kept the watch on charging cradle and charged the watch. While charging the watched booted normally. Then found out battery was at 3%. But oddly before update it was 98%.
Anyways now it's working normally.
there is no consistent way to charge the watch anymore without overheating?
I have the same problem
Same problem here. after running fine with LeeDroidV2. But after the battery died it wouldn't fully start anymore.
Thought it was heat related too so I put it on the A/C fan. Still switches off. Gonna flash stock and will report back
I can't get it to work. It says "Starting Apps" after loading them (38 of 38) and the "shutting down" Just flashed stock 5.1.1. Any ideas?
finally back alive! I don't know what the problem was. When it finally booted without shutting down, the battery was at 2%. Even though it was on the cradle for 2hrs.

Think my Gear Live watch is fried?

I'm not sure what's going on with my watch -- it'll be perfectly fine for a handful of hours and then it will start rebooting over and over again. Sometimes the screen won't even turn on while it reboots - I have to hold the power button down to get the screen to come on and show that it's rebooting.
When it goes into the bootloop, the watch gets noticeably hot to the touch. Not scolding, but it worried me enough that I took the watch off to let it cool down. I thought it could just be a software issue so I performed a factory reset on the watch -- alas, still having issues with it. I usually recharge overnight and while I used to have no issues making it through the day, my watch was dead before 4pm today (less than 12 hours).
Before I reach out to Samsung, does anyone have any other ideas on things I could do to troubleshoot?
I have the same Problem. Did you find out why?
My issue resolved on its own after awhile. My watch has been fine ever since. Maybe water got in it and once the water dried it was OK?

LG Urbane bricked after AW 2.0 update (or water damage?)

Hello,
2 weeks ago, I jumped into a swimming pool with my LG Urbane watch. After swimming about 20 meters, I realized I was still wearing it and I took it off, however damage was already done and the watch didn't work anymore. After drying (about 2 days later), the watch worked again like before.
After 3 days without any issues (charging overnight and using it during the day) the Android wear 2.0 update arrived and was automatically installed. After reboot, I selected to copy the Google account from my phone but then the watch hung at "Continue setup on phone", while my phone didn't mention anything. I searched online and tried to follow the advice to restart both my phone and the watch. Not sure how to restart the watch (the screen didn't respond at all), I pushed the power button for about 10 seconds. The watch vibrated and the screen turned black. As of that moment, the watch can no longer be switched on. I tried pushing the power button from a couple of seconds to longer than a minute, but nothing happens. Putting it in the charger also triggers no reaction whatsoever.
Since the watch had been working for a couple of days after the water damage, I'm not really sure if it is related to it.
Any ideas how to fix this issue? (I already tried opening it and detach/reattach all connectors to the watches motherboard, but no reaction at all).
Thanks in advance

Screen stays off / frozen after a few minutes

Hi guys,
My Watch Sport seems to have developed some issues in the last two days.
The screen wouldn't come on (I don't have always on turned on). I restarted it, and it was ok for a couple of minutes, then the same.
I turned on "always on" in display settings to trouble shoot, and the same thing happened - only now, the screen was frozen when it stopped working.
The watch itself seems to be running as I noticed some battery drain even with the screen off.
I did a factory reset from the UI, not luck. Did a wipe from recovery. Same issue.
Has anyone had a similar issue before?
Thanks for your help!
Update - The problem still exists, but I narrowed it down.
I turned off the watch, fully charged it and powered it on. Turned on everything that could be turned on and let it sit on the table. Checked it every now and then, it seems to be working. Ran the battery out, recharged it and did the same for about 2 more cycles. It seemed to work. The only times this 'freeze' happens is when I wear it, which got me to thinking it's probably the hear rate sensor. Opened Fit and started reading the heart rate - if it's not on my wrist, the sensor just keeps going on for a minute or so and then turns off. But if I so much a put a finger on the sensors, all it takes is 30 secs, and it freezes.
Let me try to get some logs over the weekend.
For anyone that's wondering. The watch is alive again. After about 4 months of collecting dust, I figured I'll boot it up and see how it holds up.
Turned it on and charged it for a couple of hour, then the latest Wear OS updated was pushed - a couple of them actually.
Let it sit in the cradle for a day, and wore it, without expecting much. Been about 5 weeks now. No crashes or freezes. Battery lasts much longer - about 2 days with LTE & NFC off.
One thing to note though. Up until a few weeks ago, I used to charge it via usb from my desktop. Since the last reboot, I started charging it using the wall plug.
Not sure if it was this, or the new Wear OS that fixed the issue, I'm glad it's working again and I don't need to go back to my Gear S3 and Tizen *cringe*
