Problem about running HD games on gingerdx

Sorry, I am new to the forum.
I flashed GingerDX v025 with Alfsv08a. However, when I runned HD games (like gameloft or some other games that have a large size), they were always forced to be closed before any logo came out. I tried to increase the cpu frequency, but the problem is still there.
I searched some posts here but I still cant get the right solution.
Can anyone help me please?

officially there are no gameloft games working on x8.
so try googling HVGA games instead..

what ROM and Kernel are u using??
try using custom kernal n ROM
like Alfs with GDX
and swap
u can play Alsphalt 5 smoothly

But there are many people in this forum can play gameloft games.
Does swapping improve the compatibility of HD games?

The problem has to be something else. Even if the game isn't HVGA it will still open and load, its just it won't fit the screen. And he's already on custom rom/kernel so that can't be it. Try what deedii said although I doubt that's the problem as you can play certain HD games even on stock kernel/rom.

Actualy try to redownload hvga from another site. Can you tell what games you want to play, because some games can't be runned with x8...(armv7, x8 is armv6)

I was trying to find HVGA version of some HD games and they can be ran, although there are some little lags.

to free up more memory go to settings-->running apps.
now press the menu button, an option comes up "show cached apps".
click on that and end all apps except your home launcher and see the magic.
also try supercharging your phone

hd games
you need to find the hgva games thats been altered to run well on sony x8, most links have been disabled by copywrite rules, gameloft doesnt like you stealing games, but they can be still found on torrent sites, look them up. Ps i was told with some games when you first start to play, use airplane mode to give time for the game to access the date and not try to install its own data. I have my sd card full of hd games and they all run well on my gingerdx with alf 8a, good rom for games, hope this helps

[Q] Can't download Gameloft HD games from Google Play

Hello everyone, Its been just two days since I brought my brand new Xperia TX from Sony Showroom.
Problem is, I cannot download Gameloft HD games like, Modern Combat 3 or 4, N.O.V.A 2 or 3 or 4. Saying that my device is unsupported. My very cheap Local Walton(only 1 GHZ 1 core and 512 RAM) Android Mobile supports all of the mentioned games.
Though I played and finished Modern Combat 3, which was downloaded form torrent with SD data.
Why my Xperia TX is not supported, Its a Play Station certified mobie. :crying:

I seem to remember a very similar thread to this one.
It ay be in the Q&A section, you should search for it and post in there.
Or, you can realise the other thread was started by you and that there is no need to start a new thread for the same issue
You can follow the advice I gave to you in the other thread. Email the app developer and ask for support

I just checked the PLay store for all those titles and all where available and registered compatible with my Xperia T.
Possibly not available in your region? Or they havent distinguished between T and TX when listing compatibilities.
Only thing you can do is raise it with the developers and ask them to investigate. At the end of the day they are the ones losing your custom to torrents when you are more than willing to pay for the games but can't.

I'm really for the two same posts. I truely love my Xperia TX and I never want to sell it. I brought this mobile specially for gaming. If the problem continues then I guess I have to sell it :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

What does Play store say when you try to install these games? If not visable on the device what does it say through the web store?: https://play.google.com/store/apps

When I go to play store and open apps like modern combat 3, In device comparability syas- taht Sony LT29i not supported. :crying:

Sounds then like gameloft are not distinguishing correctly between T and TX you will need to contact them directly. Should be details on contacting them on the item pages.

OK, you have been given the same advice now twice in this thread and once in the other thread you created about this.
Have you actually followed through and done it yet?
So for the fourth time, email the developer and ask them to add support for your phone.

Do what gregbradley mentioned above. In case of App incompatibility the best the thing to do, is to inform the developer, wait and see what they reply.

hi bro , i have Xperia TX too and facing the same issue , it says on google store that my device is not compaitable :S , tried to go to gameloft website and there are only 3 HD games for the TX and it doesn't include modern combat 4 or NOVA 3.
i used to have xperia arc s and all this games were available there ,
did u find a solution ?

You can edit your build.prop and change model to Xperia Z,C6603.

You can still use the "SD Data" method to play any kind of HD games. I played Modern Combat 3 & 4, N.O.V.A, NFS MW and other HD games in my Xperia TX by Installing apk and copping SD Data.

How about the heating issue? Do you fell that TX's screen gets too much hot when playing HD games?
I didn't faced any problem yet, but I'm tensed about this heating issue. Cuz it may harm the screen or SD Card as I saw many toasted?broken SD Card issue in many forums.

It has really good performance and you can install whatever you want!(of games)
Maybe some games from internet(not GP) will not work!
For me Gangstar Vegas from internet didnt work!
But i installed a lot of games and no one was lagging!(maybe little) :victory:

guys,
please upload apk of SSX for Xperia Z1. i dont know if their server or my download speed is crap.
Head to xperia lounge then scroll down, look and click on SSX.

Funny. When I try to download it, it tells me: Sorry SSX is only available for Free on Sony Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra. Could it be because of Puffin maybe?

i didnt had any speed problem downloading it.
if you cant find it in xperia loundge, just change your current language to English (US) in the app and SSX will appear in the list.
Not played long enough to affirm if it's worth it, but it does look like the PS2 version, the graphics are splendid.

Double posting (thread here and one in Q&A) ain't gonna get your question answered any faster.
You could try to force GPU rendering in dev options.

For giggles, I downloaded and they seem to play OK on my tablet. How many apps you got loaded (and running) on yours? Try a newer ROM.

I still tried the rom Pac Man 5.1 Lollipop and the same mistakes of the body.
I'm feeling this dev settings but the Neva where to look and what I will confirm councils for advice (instructions)
(I would like to remain just at Dholmen 4.4.4 rom and played Lego Star Wars whether the fastest of all rom what I tested really quickly.)

i dont think the op lives in the us the game might be a different version

Almost same thing occurs in GoT, actually worst, no figures, no scene, no background, only audio.
Maybe our tablet's drivers are old, can't work with the new games....
Tab 2 needs a hero!!!
