[Q] Latest Lollipop version for the Moto X 2014? - X 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys,
what exactly is the latest Lollipop version for the Moto X 2014? Is it 5.0, 5.0.1 or 5.0.2? Is there any download for that on the Motorola website? Thanks!

I'd also like to know this! In the UK i've got 5.0, but wish i had the fixes of the newer versions

My XT1095 PE is currently on 5.0. Currently only the 4.4.4 image is officially available as a download; then you accept an OTA upgrade.

Verizon version is 5.0

dev edition 4.4.4?

should my moto x 1st gen dev edition receive the 4.4.4 update?
and if yes, is it worth it?
Probably not, you should be running 4.4.3, I think it will jump straight to Android L when it's made available

Please ignore the above post.
Yes, it will receive the 4.4.4 OTA. There are already soak tests being performed (for the XT1053) so it should be available before too long...

No OTA, but you can use the TWRP Backup of 5.0.1 on your XT1068.
Here's the post:

I'm using it myself on my XT1068 and its great

Nobody know, even Motorola or maybe they just don't want to tell us.
However you can check this page to get news about the update to your device:

Probably late January or Early February. XT1068 will probably shoot straight to 5.1 since that update is due soon with critical bug fixes for the Lollipop Memory Leak!
So Its 5.0.3 or 5.1 for XT1068. Whichever comes first. Its highly unlikely we'll see 5.0.0 or 5.0.1 on XT1068
I think It will be straight 5.0.2, since they are testing 5.0.2 right now, if my sources are reliable.

[Q] 4.4.3 OTA for Moto X XT1052 UK/EU

Hi,
Does anybody know where I can find the OTA update file for 4.4.3 for the EU/UK Moto X XT1052? Not 4.4.4; 4.4.3.
Thanks!
you won't get it. Only xt1053 was updated to 4.4.3 all others were directly updated to 4.4.4

Moto jumper right to 4.4.4 from 4.4.2 as 4.4.3 was a mere bugfix.
Ahh that's annoying
4.4.4 has broken the signal display on the Moto X, whereas it worked fine on 4.4.2 but 4.4.2 is vulnerable to hacking?
You realize downloading to any lower version will likely brick your device during the downgrade, or later...
?

I don't believe Moto has announced any kind of test, soak or release of Lollipop for that model yet.

Nope no release date yet but I have flashed the Verizon firmware on mine and took one ota. Nothing bad has happened yet, lol. So far that I know of at&t has got it and Verizon is up next. If u have the XT1050 model, u can unlock the bootloader, flash recovery...and so on. I can't wait to see stock lollipop. U can always flash cm12.1. It's awesome but still has bugs.
