Hey guys so just out of the blue I'm unable to connect to a cellular network
I can connect to wifi Bluetooth and at times I get a few bars (emergency calls only) but I don't get data I can't make calls or messages
Can anybody help me out here its the T Mobile LG G flex its unlocked for Metro I called Metro and they were unable to troubleshoot I tried a factory reset twice but still get nothing
I lost root awhile back after a factory reset ... I'm on 4.4.2

Check your APN Settings
Also try diff, APN for your PROVIDER
If you have a IMEI # GREAT
But it sounds to me like you lost your MODEM and in that case u'll need to hunt down C O R R E C T MODEM & Flash
Is this a LGD950 AT&T Model if so your in luck i just got done with a EFS ISSUE and have most everything still (files) still laying around
Dial *#*#3646#*#* that will show you all your cell settings. Select first option and you'll see everything .

After flashing to froyo i now have no 3g or mobile internet ,im on vodafone ireland and just wanted to know if anybody knows which csc to reflash to. Before anyone suggests i check my apn settings i already got them off vodafone sent to my phone but it still says in menu -about phone-status-mobile network state=disconnected.
Can anybody help cos at the mo i can only use wifi evev though i paid for a 2gb data allowance.
did you create the APN settings?
it doesn't get sent, it doesn't program itself automatically
you need to make it yourself
Yeah I got the settings as a configuration message and it installed the vodafone settings but it won't show the upload download arrows anymore.

then set it to ON, tried turning it off/on/off/on see if it works

thanks for the help allgamer, im using sgs tools and im in phone info it says gprs service disconnected, so i press left soft key and get option to enable data connection but when i press it nothing happens?
p.s i tried the apn on off app and it did nothing

don't sgs tools you will get confused
make sure you have the APN settings configured
I Was just using sgs to access the secret codes, I tried that but mine is totally different.

I sent the apn settings from the samsung mobile website as a configuration message for vodafone ireland and then installed it when I received it but it just won't work.

what does it say, what information?
hi there. anyone successfully fixed this? for two days now I cannot get any 3g signal. it just stopped working at some point. thinking it must've been an app or something, i did a complete reflash of the XWJPA firmware. that unfortunately did not help at all.
apn is CORRECT, data network is enabled, no 3g....
edit: btw, this is on 3 network in reading, uk.
edit 2: disregard my post, the problem was the borked sim card. all is well now.
Hey guys. I just activated 3G today and got a confirmation from my service provider( Vodafone India) that my data plan is active. When i select mobile network i get the H symbol(HSDPA/HSUPA) along with the arrows next to my signal meter. Although there is a lot of flashing going on with the arrows the net still doesn't work. Any idea why??

You may need to go into Settings -> Wireless & Networking and check the APN settings.

Thanks a loT!! I had to change the setting from Vodafone Live to Vodafone Mobile Connect. But now i seem to have a new problem. I keep losing the normal phone signal completely at times and have to switch to and back from aeroplane mode or restart the phone to get the signal again. This is the first time this is happening. Any idea why? And this is happening at home where i used to get all the bars( Till 3G started working) Thanks in Advance

OK so I went and Had a guy (page plus Dealer) switch my BIONIC over to Pageplus...I can make phone calls no problem.
BUT NO 3G or MMS.
running android 4.1.2
sys version 98.72.22.xt875
build number 9.8.8o-72_vzw-22
I don't think its rooted.
the guy did something where I dont need a sim.
I have scanned the pages but cant seem to find any help with the recent update.
I am not half as smart as some of you all so if you can give me step by step directions on how to fix this I would greatly appreciate it.

How are you supposed to make phone calls without a sim? I'd take it back to Pageplus and have them fix the issue. Your build number looks funny, even though you are not on the latest ota update. Are you on a custom rom? That could be the problem.

You need Verizon 4G LTE sim to make data work like we did on ICS..
Please insert any blank Verizon 4G LTE sim and your data will start automatically....

ok so I got the sim but where do I find instructions on how to get the data (3g) and MMS working?
I have no clue as to how the phone works without a sim either. All I know Is that I can make calls and send texts without a sim card.
OK with the verizon sim in I get a solid 1X but no MMS or 3G...I have tried the other pages advice and instructions but am sooooo lost.

Now press *#*#4636#*#* on dial
Select Phone Information
Scroll down to bottom and change network type to CDMA auto prl...
Wait for few seconds...
Press back and go to home...
Reboot...
Voila 3G will start :thumbup:

I did that but everytime I turn my phone back on it keeps showing CDMA only
Turn off radio...
Change it to cdma auto prl... wait for a while...
Turn radio on again....
And see...

I have mms but no 3g
I'm at the same build, version, etc as cucci_slamr. I have MMS and 1x but no 3G. Paid to have it flashed, really don't want to have to pay somebody else to redo flash just to get 3G. Any ideas? My network type is already set to CDMA auto (PRL). Thanks
Hello, I have a LG Flex G D958, i use the system 4g for 4 months normally ... and suddenly the signal became only edge (2g), other 4g chips placed on it are also edge. Already formatted (system format) and keeps edge, 2g / 3g / 4g automatic option is selected, someone has gone through such a problem?

In my case i got only in 2g .... and after format still in edge. (using 4.4.2 stock firmware)
My case is :
I got the att lg g flex 950, and I unlocked it by unlockunit, after that I tried to enable mobile network, and the icon on the notification bar doenst show up or do anything? Anyone have any idea? I on T-Mobile now,thanks

Hey buddy, I just do the APN reset + delete any exist. So I'm on T-mobile - I just did APN setting - and its work fine for me now. Depend on which network/provider you are, google search for itself APN setting, it might work !
Its happended when you do the factory reset - all the APN profile just all gone I think ...
Before hard reset 3g was working fine after hard reset 3g is not connecting only 2g connecting E not H+ i went to service center the setting is accurate.help me what should i do i have again reset but all effort in vain.

Is your phone rooted? You have the correct apn settings yes? See if you setting ,When in "mobile network" if three options pop up...
If your rooted flash a different modem..and report back...
Need more details..Like rooted? What android version and baseband it says..
Also try making another apn setting,,And enable it..Then switch back to the original one..Sometimes this works.
Yes i have correct setting went to service center they checked settings.no my phone is not rooted.
