Hi all
Has anyone used the fitness watch face? have you noticed that the step count on in does not match the step count on the watch itself?

So the steps match on the watch face match with show me my steps in settings? Strange mine on watch face are about 400 less!
Does it have anything to do with swipe left for altitude setting it says when you first go to watch face?
I'm using a custom watch face from intellicom watch faces app with a step counter. I've also noticed that the step count on the watch face don't match the count on the fit app.
Yesterday watch face had approx 14,000 steps whereas fit app was showing only 9,500????
One thing I noticed is that some of my watch faces needed permission to link with Google Fit. Those watch faces show steps accurately on my LG Watch Urbane. The Intellicom watch face never asked permission, and isn't showing up in the approved app list in Google Fit, which is probably why steps on the watch face don't match the app. Maybe I didn't see the permission message? Maybe the app isn't configured to ask permission?

There are certain times like when your little cousins/your kids start playing with your watch and inside you are like "DON'T YOU DARE DO ANYTHING TO MY LOVE! DO IT AND FACE MY WRATH!"
Well that happened to me certain times & now I wonder if there is any way I can lock the buttons on my pebble watch & only some combination like back+select held for 3 seconds can unlock the watch for normal use or something similar.
So is there any way to lock my Pebble?
There is a lock pebble app for android... Otherwise its wack a rugrat time

Not sure which app that is. Can you post a link here?
There's an app called Pebble Locker, but it's for unlocking your phone from your watch. It doesn't lock the Pebble itself.
Over here https://forums.getpebble.com/discussion/10042/keep-to-a-single-watchface they suggest a custom firmware with only one watchface.
In order to not accidentally go to the menu, you could try a watchapp which disables all the keypresses, maybe try "Button Lock" https://apps.getpebble.com/applications/543f02a145b1f75605000010 or if you like the Simplicity Watchface try "buttLock" https://apps.getpebble.com/applications/54fad867c2eca30d2a000016
I'm new t to pebble, I wonder if I can use some apps over watch faces. Be more from specific, I would like to use the message reply function from glance with the modern watch face. So instead of going to glance, i can have the pop up on the watchface. does anyone know if its possible?

AFAIK watchfaces don't have access to the buttons, so this isn't possible.
But there are apps which send a notification to your pebble with which you can interact, for example notification center.

You can use Awear for handling the notifications. It pops up the new message notification screen on top of any watchface you have on and allows you to reply to it as well.
I have searched, but have not found the answer.
I have Multiwatch and Watch Styler, I have no problem getting the faces to load. But most of them do not have all the functions working like the small timers in say Citizen style. Do I need to root the Gear Neo 2 or are these just gimmicks?
Sorry if this was asked before...

Not sure what functions are you looking for: if you design your watch face with Styler you'll see the only options are date/BT/battery...anything else is gimmick.

That is what I was afraid of, seems there needs to be more development on this device.

your watch is messed. i had same issue with multiwatch. some watches wouldnt load some would but only be hands or nothing at all. i reset my watch and reinstalled apk on phone. havent had a issue since. all my watch faces work. rooting doesnt do anything except give you access to remove apps and push ringtones and alerts and so on. and increase volume over all.
Hi,
Anyone having issues with using WatchMaker app to set face? When I click on the set watch face button it only brings up a ad and nothing happens. Do you need the premium app to set faces?
Thanks,
Jay
Weird, it works fine for me. ANd it worked fine also in the free version (now I'm on paid).
You have to have watchmaker watchface already selected on the watch though ...
I have the same problem sumtimes. I just put it down to a memory issue going from 1 face to another.
Haha. I'm getting mixed reviews when I look this up.
Yes I have set watch to watchermaker AW5 but nothing.
Just curious what happen after after you press the set face on phone?
Thanks for the replys
I just got my new LG Watch R. Works fine with my iPhone 6. I can read messages and swipe them away, no promblems there.
Now i would like to use my new watch with sports. Is there any way to install endomundo or something on the watch? Its not neccesary at all to connect endomondo with the iPhone, but i just want to see my speed etc on the watch.
Besides this i have a problem installing watch faces. If i want to install a watchface from the Android wear app it doesn't install anything.
Thanks for the help.

Check out: http://forum.xda-developers.com/g-w...l-windroid-universal-android-toolkit-t3048122
Also you can side load the apps you want that you cannot download through the iphone wear app using adb. I have seen somewhere that they have the google app store running on the watch...

It didn't work for me. When i do the last step i get an dead android Maybe im doing something wrong?
You don't need to root. Just find the phone APK file, rename it to ZIP, find the mobile APK file inside the res/raw folder, and use adb install on it.
This post is about getting a customized watchmaker onto the watch, but you can do the same and skip the part about modifying the APK
