Radio flash on Developer Edition - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Guys,
A friend of mine has bought a phone from eBay which is a converted developer edition phone and upgraded to the latest firmware/software. He lives in the UK, so will 4G/LTE work on the phone considering the developer edition has been flashed onto the phone, or can this simply be fixed by flashing a .401 firmware which will update the radio?
The phone is S-OFF, so if a new ROM needs to be flashed it can be done
Thanks

4g availability/coverage is always region specific. Has he tried the phone yet? If it works I would leave it alone. You could flash just the radio. But being that he is located in the UK and s-off, why not just flash a x.x.401.x ruu and be done with it. Especially if he has no plans to venture away from stock.

[Q] Flashing Stock Rom

Hello everyone I just bought an HTC One (Great device by the way) it's not available in my country so i had to buy it from france it's the 801n model and it was locked to Orange France carrier but i unlocked it to be used on any other carrier BUT i still have some built-in system apps from Orange that are really useless and I didn't receive the latest android 4.3 update so i Was wondering if there's a way to flash a "STOCK" firmware on my M7
thank u (i'm new to HTC stuff)
Here you can found the stock rom.
However, i advice you to put the phone in s-off if your hboot is 1.44 or wait the tool for the 1.54

[CLOSED] Can I flash a 4.06.1540.2 firmware on my 2.24.708.4 HTC one?

Can I flash 4.06.1540.2 firmware on my 2.24.708.4 HTC one? Because my phone is a Hong Kong variant (it supports different LTE frequency bands compared to the North American version), I am worried that the US developer edition firmware will cause LTE to not work properly.
FYI, I have flashed a 4A.21.3263.04_10.38m.1157.04L radio with success (IIRC it's a radio from a TMobile OTA update).
Thanks in advance.

actually i presume its not cause if you are s-on then theres no way you can flash a firmware not for your model or cid
and if you are s-off then i think even if you flash a wrong firmare you can always revert back. thats what i think, i may be wrong

I am s-off..
yup i reverted back to my old firmware which only then allowed me to flash the RUU for my model
Assuming I can still boot into recovery after the flash, then I suppose I can try and find out. I would still like to get a confirmation before trying though, just to be on the safe side.
My guess is if I get super CID, I should be able to flash it. It's just that I don't want to risk bricking the phone to the point where I cant even boot it into recovery.
FYI, I am already s-off.
Thanks for the input so far guys.
Just to report back.
I have flashed 3.58.1700.5 firmware (4.4 GPe) on my Hong Kong-variant HTC One with success.
Thanks!

[Q] Flashing ROMs to Sprint HTC One Global Version

Hi, I have a a sprint version HTC One h-boot 1.44.0000 Unlocked with S-OFF. I am currently living in a GSM carrier country and as such i use a sim card from one of these providers. I currently only get a GSM data despite the fact that the phone supports up to LTE. I have read this is a Sprint model limitation.
I want to upgrade from the 4.1.2 that I am currently running to a 4.4.0? version. which roms can be flashed to my phone without it been soft bricked?
I have read alot but its kinda confusing. Please advise me accordingly.

[Q] D950 unlocked (ATT) on T-Mobile network

Hi! First time posting so be kind.
I received a D950 (ATT) which I unlocked and rooted. My SIM is on T-Mobile so I am not getting OTA updates/upgrades. I figure the only way is with a custom ROM since the OEM packages are device specific, I think.
Question: If I install one of the ROMs here, how will updates/upgrade be performed? Will they then be OTA T-Mobile or will I have to rely on the ROM developer?
Again, a newbie.

Radio and baseband problem after new rom

Since I started installing ROMs on my htc one m7 my phone network is messed up over. First there are many places with 2g here and non of the custom ROMs allowed me to on mobile data on 2g network. I've tried flashing different radio but always the same. Even the 3g is never more than 50% but one thing I noticed, the phone has Verizon written at the back although it uk used unlocked one but the bootloader is always m7wls which is Sprint model. Won't allow me to install Verizon ROMs until I changed the build file from the ZIP before flashing. Now I flashed a radio now and my phone won't even flash Sprint rom again but only m7 though the bootloader remain the same. Please anyone ever experience this and can help to resolve this. Thanks
