I'm trying to change ROM on my mi3 because I've got a problem with mobile data , I'm unable to use whatsapp , miui browser , miui email with mobile data. Even if I follow the general procedure for changing ROM (formatting cache , cache partition , system , dalvik cache ) , I'm unable to successfully do it. I'm getting the same miui 6 even after changing the ROM. Please help me .
Will formatting persist or formatting kernel help to resolve my problem.

Try to change the system you boot into, from recovery.
follow the steps,,,u need cwm custom recovery first,,,search for it on xda

Hi all,
Today I installed Jewe SmartEdition on my phone. Everything went fine but suddenly it crashed while running Quadrant. Now it's in a boot loop and I'm not possible of getting in CWM. Does somebody know a fix for this ?

I don't know if there is a better solution. But if you can put it in download mode you can flash new rom with odin. But you lose your downloads etc.

Factory reset if you can followed by deleting Quadrant .

Pull the battery... put in to recovery mode...
wipe the cache partition and go into advanced CWM options and wipe the dalvik cache... then try rebooting the system....
any difference? or did you just install another ROM over it?
iam on android 4.4.2 . i enabled art and phoned is in bootloop , how i can disable it without wiping data partition
i tried wipe cache/dalvik cache
but no changes
i have aroma file manager at my phone so i can rename , delete , change permissions ...

Everything went well , but when I rebooted my phone : "Encryption failed - Unable to complete encryption due to interruption. Perform factory data reset before use., try encrypting device again." . What can i do ? Help me please

Reflash the rom or other rom.

Hello Guys ,
I did a wrong manipulation and my phone didn't want to start . Indeed , I was on 4.0 Exitenz Rom and I delete a system apk with Titanium from that moment my phone didn't work . So i try to recover my photos at least and try to mount usd , data with cmw and other receovery that doesn't work .
So , I try to use Flashtool to flash rom .254 and to save my files i don't tick Wipe data , and flash many time and the phone didn't want to boot . ans it only reboot automatically .
Please help me to save , recover my photos !!! I need your help Thank you

After flashing my phone restarted and i got a SYSTEM UI HAS STOPPED error and everything goes black. How do i solve this

If you are using TWRP, try wiping
cache+dalvic cache+android secure
Did not work
Do your ROM have GApps?
If not, download appropriate GApps and flash it.
Also try clean flashing ROM.
How do you do a clean flash?
I installed philz recovery. In it i went and selected delete data to install a new rom.
Didn't help.
Then i tried format system, format data and all those other format options.
Didn't help.
Then i tried
Clean dalvik cache and format phone and clean cache.
Didn't help.
By the way. I did not lock my bootloader as mentioned in those instructions above. Is it cause of that?
And yes. I had one country's rom before. So this is of another country, does that cause such a problem?

I accidentally deleted persist folder. Now no wifi. Anyone knows where the persist folder is?

Make a factory reset. The deleted folder will be restored.
OR
Reflash ROM
Ok. Got the folder back. Fixed the wifi issue also.
Now let me see what problem comes next. Hehe
