To the OP- Have you tried fixing permissions in TWRP?

Yep, I'm on a mac. I've been having a lot of problems with SD Card space, even though only half of my 4Gb should be used. Whenever I look at it in Astro, I see ._name files for most every file I have had on there, including all of the ones I have removed. I tried to backup today, and got an SD Card full error, loaded it up in WhatSize and got this:
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

}
So, I have 2Gb of deleted files in a .Trashes folder. WTF? I get an error when I try to delete the folder or open it in Finder. I thought that temp trash should be deleted when I Eject? I always safely eject, instead of just pulling it out.
TL;DR: Contents of SD card total 2.01Gb, shown on disc as 3.69Gb. The extra data is in .Trashes, and I can't figure out how to clean it. Halp?
Backup and format?
I wanna install a few apps (GPS for example) on the internal memory since i still have plenty of space left

Go to Manage Application in Setting you will see a list of loaded programs. Choose the apk and the program will let you know if you can move it to the sdcard.
By default, all your apps and games are installed there (phone memory) but the data is what some apps and most games save in your sd card..
You can go to Settings > Apps and click on the app you want to have on your phone and see if the option "Move to SD card" is greyed out or not
This way you'll know which apps are stored in your phone memory and which are not..
Hi, I have been playing around with FolderMount on my gt-n7000 and moved some large .obb files to my external SD card. However, I noticed that when I go into ES File Explorer, it seems that FolderMount has hijacked my extSdCard default shortcut as shown in the image below. It is now pointing to an obb folder located in /storage/sdcard0/Android/obb/com.con2us.defencetechnica... as shown in the image.

Would anyone know what the issue is. The phone is rooted.
I would have asked this question in the official FolderMount thread, however I have just joined and I am restricted in terms of where I can post on this site.
Thanks for any info.

More information.
You can try to format the memory card in the phone first
You can try *#*#7378423#*#* > Service test > Storage, to know your sd card status.
Also you can insert another sd card to test that is the device problem or not.
I am still on Android 12. Fresh flashed using official firmware from HK. I forgot to turn off auto download over Wi-Fi. It's not my intention yet to update my firmware. Now I am bothered by the notification that can't be removed. Heck I am more bothered for the update file. Where is that location so I can manually delete it?
Tried googling about but I don't find .OTA folder in my internal memory. I also have Solid Explorer that can show hidden files.
Thanks!

The OTA update is on a partition invisible to the system and cannot be accessed.
