Super Su problem on oneplus one - Nexus One Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have rooted my device installed multirom on it and then flashed Cyan HAcker rom on it.
Everything was working fine ,i checked through that my devices has root access but when i booted to my internal rom super su stopped working and showing message that "Super Su Binary not installed ".then all my root apps stopped working saying that your device has not root access.I don't know why my root access has gone.
I tried reflashing Super Su so many times but it didn't work.
Just don't know what to do now.
Please help but pls don't say to reflash it as i have tried it several times.

Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.

[Q] no su access on salsa

Hi
I have used HTC unlock bootloader method to unlock my HTC Salsa Icon G C510e and that worked fine with me.
Then I installem CWM recovery and falsh the custom ROM.
Then i tried to root my phone. everything went well no errors(atleast i could not see any on the screen)
Then isnstalled Link2SD, now here comes the problem. It now says that my phone is not rooted and Link2Sd cannot access root. I also installed Root Check app from and it said the same that my phone is not rooted.
I tried the whole procedure againa, no errors..
But the phone is not rooted (i guess so) or I still dont have root access.
can somebody please help..
Thank you very very much in advance

Question..............did you flash the root.zip file?
if not theres your problem, thats what gives you root access. if you have then you got an error in the rom if you flashed another over your original....hope your making nandroid backups lol
Solved
Hi,
Thanks everybody for your replys. I could fix the problem by upgrading my SuperUser app.
In su app, i was getting a notification that su binary is out of date and when i used to hit the option to update the su binary from SU app settings, it used to fail.
The thing I did was to install SU again from Market and it worked.
Though i am not sure what exactly the problem was.

Root Error

Correct me if I am posting this in the wrong forum.
Lately I have been getting an error in root checker saying that root access is not properly operating and this stops me from using any root application as it says I need root access to use, on top of that some of my modules aren't working. But the thing is everything is fine and I gain full root access again when I restart my phone? Not sure what I did wrong but if someone could let me know that would be a big help. Thanks ?

Guys, Help!

I'm new here. I rooted my tablet. I installed SuperSU on my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Editon). Says, it was successful. I second that because I got the same result just like in the tutorial I watched. But when I checked if my tablet is really rooted, the Root Checker said "Sorry! Root is not properly inatalled on this device." I reinstalled the root again then checked again but still says no root access. I tried to uninstall the root twice but it's still there. I tried to update SU binary as it says hoping it will give me root access. But I'm still having trouble installing it. Please guys, help me. I want to have root access but I think I messed up.
Did you flash SuperSu.zip in your custom recovery, or you just installed super su from google play store ?

Note 8 Rooted (Confirmed and all) - but SuperSU keeps saying SU Binary Occupied

Hey XDA & Note 8'ers ,
I've finally got around to rooting my Note 8 - all is smooth and get a root confirmation through various apps.
But when I try and get SuperSU running, it keeps giving me the error 'SU Binary Occupied'.
I've flashed it with Stock, and also SuperSU through various methods,
but I keep getting the error of the SU Binary being occupied.
I've followed the instructions given by the SU App to deal with the above issue, but keep getting the same issue.
Any suggestions or advice on what I might have done wrong to keep causing this?
I'd like to get SuperSU working, but it's not the only app that is causing me issues in recognising that the device is rooted.
It's an Australian Note 8 (SM-N950F)
Cheers!
I have not rooted my note 8, but, I had a simmilar issue with my note 4, The SU that came with root did not work as intended, so I searched and found that there were several more SU apps, I dont remember names, the thing is, I tried several SU, untill one worked
I've heard of the issue but never personally encountered it ever on any of my Android phones. Not sure if it has anything to do with Super Su versions but I have used 2.82, 2.82-SR4, & 2.82-SR5 without any issues. I'm currently using 2.82-SR4 on my F.
is magisk installed? if not, try to install magisk manager and check if you might be rooted through that app. if yes you dont need super su.

Cheers, I had Magisk Manager already installed, but SuperSU hadn't been activated for the specific app, so it wasn't been given root access!
Easy solve.
