Is there one?
No. There is a bounty thread, hoping to motivate devs to find a way in to root this thing. It is in the General section and it can be seen here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/general/bounty-root-unlocking-bootloader-method-t2940539
I think it works with the New CM12

Hi all, please bare with me, I am a EPIC user and I am trying to help a friend out at work. He has the Bionic and he is looking to get rid of the bloatware. He is not interested in a CUSTOM ROM or anything. So, my question, can you root the bionic and just delete the bloatware? Is there another way to delete the bloatware? If someone can point me in the right direction(links), THANKS!
This shouldn't be in the Android Development section, this belongs in General.
If you check the STICKIED thread at the top of this page
then you'll find that there's a debloated stock ROM in there. That should give you what you seek.

To ANSWER your QUESTION I would say no, not on that build. Read the all in one thread in the QUESTION and ANSWER section to find out how to root your phone without unlocking the bootloader.
Please search before posting, this has been asked and answered many times
Please post in the correct section.
Thread moved. Please post all your questions here in Q&A in future.
Thanks
AvRS
Hi all, I'd like to know if I am able to root 4.4.2 Moto X. After reading alot, I get a feeling that one of the foremost things I need to do is unlock the bootloader. I will appreciate any help. I just need someone to point me to the right thread. I need instructions on how to unlock the bootloader.
Always read the stickies my friend.
This nice guide is there in general section.

You need to see the "Pie" thread. Your OP said you were on 4.4.2.
There is a new root method (only a partial root - Write protection is not disabled, and root is lost upon reboot), but it is handy for things like Xposed/Gravity Box and WiFi Tether.
Look under the "Original Android Development" There is a thread inside regarding 'Pie', which was authored by one of our very gifted Developers, jcase.
Assuming you are on 4.4.2, this should work for you.
Good Luck
Thread closed as there is already a Guide about Rooting which is well detailed, Please do not open threads before searching..
Would any of the one-click root options work with this device?

As of right nothing that I have seen or heard of, we can only hope that something will come along.
Please leave the development section free for actual development
Questions belong in the Q&A section

Due for an upgrade and wondering which one I should get, how easy they are to route which one would be the best... Any tips, ideas suggestions?
This belongs in Q&A or General, Not development Im sure you'll get the info you need there?
Go to http://forum.xda-developers.com/note5/help and create a new thread in here. The forum you post is all about development "projects" only, e.g. Root, Recovery, Kernels, ROMs.
Very easy
