Help with Car Kit, Car Interface

I just leased a 2007 Audi A4. It was a special deal and did not come with the Bluetooth interface that works so well on my wife's 2006 Audi A6.
I would really like to hook the phone up to the Audi A4 in some way. I was wondering if any of you experts had any ideas or have successfully hooked your Wizards to any newer vehicles (via wire or bluetooth) which did not come equipped to handle phones.
Here's some ideas, I've had.
Wired Connection. Does anyone have any suggestions for hard wiring the Wizard to a car's stereo via the 2.5mm jack on the Wizard? I almost bought a Saab 9-3 which had a 3.5mm jack inside the glove box. I hooked up my Wizard via a 3.5mm cable with a 2.5mm adapter for the Wizard. I was able to listen to my music playing on the Wizard and when someone called, I could hear the ringing through the car's speakers, but there was evidently no microphone connection so no one could hear me. A wired solution should be feasible and there's a button on the steering wheel which may be able to answer calls.
Bluetooth Connection. An alternative to the wired connection is a bluetooth connection. Parrot has a neat car kit which even streams stereo from your Wizard (A2DP). Cool set up. Has anyone installed something like this in their Audi, BMW, etc.
Any help or direction would be most appreciated.

bluetooth problem

Hi all,
I have Q: i want to use the telephone AND my Bt streaming audio in my car.
Once i had a Bt version which handeled the two at the samen time.
Now i use a Bt version that can handle only one: or telephone port open, or streaming audio.
Who can help me with a bluetooth version which can handle two tasks at the same time.

How to use X1 with TMC over car antenna and radio aux?

Hi !
Is there a cable to use the external antenna of my car and connect the x1 to the car radio (aux) at the same time?
At the moment I connect the "Throw antenna" (for TMC) and the audio Cable to the radio with an normal Y-Adapter. (Like the one you use to connect two headphones to a player).
The quality is better than without the antenna but not optimal.
So i found an connector to my car antenna
GNS Y-Antennenadapter für GNS FM9 TMC Kabel, ISO Anschluß mit 2,5mm Klinke
and an
audio splitter
But I don't know if the audio splitter is really improving the signal or if it is working with the x1.
Another option would be the
TMC Y-Adapter With Amplifier & Audio Function
Any other suggestions or help if the soltuions will improve the quality are welcome.
Thanks

using bluetooth to connect steering wheel control to tablet

Hello guys,
I have already installed an android tablet to my car (VW Golf VI). The headphone-jack sends the music to an external apmlifier in the trunk and the tablet is charged via usb. everything works really really good so far, the only missing part of the project is the streering wheel control. Do you have any solution to connect the tablet via bluetooth to the board canbus of the car, so that I can use the volume-buttons to control volume and select next/previous song? I would like to prefer a pre-confectioned cable like
https://www.amazon.de/Bluetooth-Aud...6150056&sr=8-2&keywords=vw+bluetooth+quadlock
or something similar, I do not want to code something.
do you have any solution for this idea?

Kai

That, or similar bluetooth-canbus interfaces.
If you're lucky, your car may only have one CAN bus, then you can just plug the dongle into the OBD2 port under the dash. If the steering wheel commands are on a separate CAN bus, then you may need to do some custom wiring to attach it.
And the software:

*I have not used or tested this, so I can't vouch for how well it works!
