I swear I have tried every setting in the app and I can't seem to find a way to skip tracks on my pebble. I get the track info, volume up/down, and pause/play to display. Any help is appreciated!
Device info:
Galaxy S5 running kitkat 4.4.4
Haha, nevermind. I guess I wasn't holding the up and down buttons long enough. Cheers!

As the title says, is there any way to forward and back skip tracks by holding the volume rocker, such as with a key mapping app or something?
I am wondering the same thing but for the Droid Eris.
EDIT: OP, see this thread. I admittedly did not try this before searching!

well. you actually can do that. just lock your screen and press(and hold) the volume rocker. it'll skip the song.

Is this possible on the Captivate? I am on the latest Serendipity ROM. it has Skip with trackball option but our phone has no trackball!
Seems counter intuitive. I mean your playing music, the volume buttons seem kind of important. What if you want to turn it down and just end up skipping tracks?
Long press vs short press. Cyanogen mod on nexus one implements this.
The inbox earphone that comes with Galaxy Note, has 3 buttons(Volume up, Volume down and stop).
What I wank to know id there is any key combination or someway to change music with those buttons.
Getting the phone out off the pocket everytime I want to change music is a pain in the...
Thanks in advance
You can actually play the next track by pushing the "pause" button twice.
I don't know about a way to play the previous one though.
Thanks, that worked!
A little hard at the beginning hahaha
If you use poweramp, the default is a long press on the play/pause button.
Ok so we all know the stock Samsung earphones that come with the Note and I guess other phones too.
You have 3 controls, but I can only do stop/volume up/down.
Many times when I wait a bit too long after I stopped my music with the stop button(On the earpiece) the music doesn't want to restart, until I either reconnect the earphone or press play @ the player.
And the other problem is that I can't skip tracks with the volume up/down button, I did that before by doing a long press, but now it only changes the volume.
Rom: LSC Stock
Kernel: Philz latest
Player: Poweramp full version
poweramp has headphone control options, you should be able to configure it to skip track with double press.
Or you can use one of the many apps in the play store

I think I've tried out all of the options in Poweramp, but nothing seems to work.
