I'm having massive battery drains, my phone's battery can't last a day, I have to charge it 2 times a day. When I'm on wifi or mobile data the phone shuts down la 35% battery, after that I can only open it while charging and it shows 1% battery after.
What can I do so I can use my phone normally?

I'm worrying about my battery. The main thing is, it drains really fast. In flight mode and nothing else on it drains like 2% each hour. So overnight, most of the time it drains like 16%. Today i started with 100% in the morning. Used GPS for 1 hour, made a phonecall for 20mins in total time. My battery indicator said there was 30% left :/ I know this thing eats batteries, but this is insane. Because i noticed an incorrect display of the battery the last few days i gave it a soft reset. After the reset i saw the battery had only 4% left, not even 30%, but 4! :|
Many times when the phone is saying i have 'insert number' percentage of battery left it's incorrect. Because when i give it a soft reset, it changes the number. Sometimes i get more percentage back, and sometimes it drops.
One hour ago i plugged it on the charger, checked 45min ago, and it was still on 31% battery :| Then, like 10min later i suddenly saw a green light from my phone and it was full.
I've never had a device with a broken battery and i don't know the symptoms, but is this normal or is it likely that my battery is dying?
A little kick!
I have stopped doing this as i found out that once the phone full charged ( leD green) , the wifi if ON is still conencted and running in full power mode and this seems to drain the battery , while the battery indicator is showing 100%!
when unplugged in the mrning, just a 1 hour or 2 hour use seems to drain the battery to 50% because the the whole night while it was conencted it was being used by the wifi
so now when i had the phone fully charged i just disconnt it and leave it to rest.
In th emorning the phone seems to behave normally and left with juice to last whole day even after 8 hours on sleep standby...
For ca. 3 weeks i have problems with battery. At first battery was draining like crazy, I got 1 hour screen time with 30% brightness and on WiFi listening podcasts. Then I noticed that battery takes longer to charge 1 hour longer. I turned even airplane mode to speed up charging and didn't used phone at all when charging. It helped for short time. I noticed then that battery percentage jumping 50-20-35. I though I need to calibrate battery percentage, I drained battery down to "0%" till shut off phone several times. Then recharged, it helped for 2 weeks.
Now I noticed that my battery doesn't charge at all when using it to write SMS or listening music and charging at the same time. When I turn airplane mode on and dont use phone it's charging but very slowly 40% in 5 hours. It's not normal! Cell signal is good, max strength 24h. Can anyone help me with battery? My phone is S4 Active I9295 with stock official 4.4.2 without root or new apps installed recently. I using original wall charger and cable.
Hi guys I've a problem with the battery drain irrespective of the ROM I use. The battery discharges normally from 100 to 29 %. Then their is a sudden drop from 29% to 15%. Wiping the battery stats hasn't helped. Also if I allow the phone to automatically switch off and then I plug it in to charge and then allow the phone to charge upto 2 or 3% and then reboot the phone, the battery percentage after the phone reboots will have jumped to 33%. Any solution to get this faulty battery stats corrected?
It's a really frustrating problem. Any solutions plz.
What ROM did you use? If its MM based, try to use wakelock detector and amplify battery extender
Well bought this phone back in mid 2017,and because of sickness I haven't used it that much at all.
I charged the battery 11 times so far and was keeping the phone in a desk drawer.
A month ago I noticed that the phone won't turn on,so I plug the charger on and charged the battery to 100 %.
I supposed that the phone was on,I didn't turn it off,and the battery left to 0% and shutdown the phone.
I really can't say how long it was on 0% (suppose like maybe a month).
Today I noticed very bad battery results.
Batterylife with GSam Battery Monitor is around 12 h only.
Was the "bolded text" the reason that battery died or the reason was not using the phone for 2 years?
Is there a software to check the damage of the battery?
I installed accubattery pro but for some reason doesn't offer me Health status of battery.

I would give the battery a few full cycles to see it that sorts it or yes, the battery it would seem is on its last legs. I don't know what app to recommend as an alternative though. (My battery is 23 months old and still performs as it did when I brought the phone)
I would drain it to 5% (maybe 1%) then charge it to 100% (without using phone while charging) a few times.
Then see how it goes. Afterwards charge phone from 20% or 15%.
Ok.I will charge it to 100% and report you with results with duration time on battery and you tell me how bad is it
