Hi all,
is there a possibility to bring alarm sound to the built-in speakers while the headset is plugged in.
I use the headset to listen to the fm radio in the night. at morging the headset is still plugged in. the alarm to wake me up comes from the headset so I cant hear it.
best regards
daniel
Hi,
I am having trouble with my o2x because when i attached my earpiece and fall asleep.. the next morning when the alarm sound will go off only in the earpiece and not together with the loudspeaker.. this is quite frustrating because by then my earpiece wont be in my ear anymore... is there any fix?
Edit: Problem solved with new MCR FR15.
my alarm plays in very low volume when docked on oem dock with 3.5mm jack plugged in. However, when I unplug the jack and let it sit on the dock, the alarm play normally. Im currently using Cmod 7. Any settings I can change to fix the volume? Thanks
When you first used the dock did you get a prompt about using the dock for audio? The option can be found under Dock settings. try toggling it off if it's currently on.
Edit: If you actually need it on to output music you could raise the attenuation level for Alarms under the Cyanogenmod/Sound settings. Failing that you could try a clock replacement like Alarm Clock Plus, which is totally awesome.
hi can somebody help me if its possible. Is it possible to have the alarm quite loud throught speaker when earphones are plugged in. Many thanks.
Does any body know if there is a way or an app that will allow me to play music via Bluetooth but still have the alarm come through the phone speaker? Here's the situation. I like to listen to music while I sleep but my phone is also my alarm clock. so if my ear-buds come out during sleep "and they usually do" the alarm is coming through the Bluetooth ear-buds and not the phone. I'm a pretty light sleeper so the vibrations have been waking me up so far. But id really like to find a solution to this. Seems like there should be a way especially if your rooted.

It's a long shot, but have you tried Alarm Clock Xtreme? It has the option to force sound to speakers when headphones are plugged in. Not sure if this works with bluetooth but you can give it a shot. Best of luck.

While not an ideal solution for everyone I have two ideas:
I switched a while back to using Timley In doing so I tried to recreate your scenario: bluetooth headphones listening to music and the alarm goes off. It rang in the earphones AND on the phone at normal phone alarm volume.
However I know switching apps can be a lot to ask of someone so my next idea is to use either Tasker or Automagic to have bluetooth turn off at a certain time which would force your phone to play the alarm. However if your bluetooth headphones are good at blocking sound, may be a no go...
Good question. I'll keep thinking.
Thanks. I'm gonna check into all those apps tomorrow.

Ok I decided to try out Timley first and I love the way the app is set up. But the alarm only came through the headphones. Is there a setting for that? I didn't see one.

Well that is strange. The only modifications I made to my system image are ad-blocking and xposed. I havent tweaked any audio anything so I should have a stock experience and had the alarm play on both headset and phone speaker.
It is bluetooth right? Not hardwired?

Yes it is Bluetooth. And that's the same mods I've done to mine. Weird.
