[q] wireless charger? - Xperia Z3 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does our phone charge with wireless technology?
Is it compatible?
And to which standards?
Thanks (and sorry for my bad English)

Yes we have wireless charging tech called "weird magnet".
Apart from that, no. We have non.

that's not even wireless. because all it is is a magnet holding the 2 pins together.
but there isn't any wireless charging support on the z3s

No Z1 does not have wireless charging. It does have pogo pins on the side so you can use a magnetic charging dock or cable.
NEXT TIME PLEASE POST IN Q&A SECTION AND READ THE FORUM RULES.

Qi wireless charging not working on Nexus 6

hello. does anyone know if the developer preview supports wireless charging? i have a Nexus 6 with NFC turned on, but when i place it on the charger nothing happens. I've tried 3 different chargers and didn't use a case while trying to charge. As you know the Nexus 6 is qi enabled. Thank you.

maybe. i bought an older samsung wireless charger, and at first, i had a hard time getting it to connect. until i realized that it needs to be put on a little lower. now ive no problem with it.
thanks for all the replies. I have found the problem... the TYLT charger i have is defective. And here I was thinking it was the OS that didn't support it.

FYI: Moshi's new adapter enables simultaneous wired charging and headphone use

Moshi's new USB-C to Digital Audio Adapter with Charging adapter works with the Z2F. I tested it myself.
$45 dollars though, whoa.

The price sucks for sure. Hopefully more competition emerges soon.
I wonder if this can pass turbo charging provided by USB PD source to Z2F, since both it and Z2F support USB PD. Any Ideas?

Technically I think it supports USB-PD. But yes, it will fast charge your phone when connected to a USB-PD or QC 3.0 A/C outlet with a USB-C data cable.

Nokia 8 and wireless charging

Hello!
I would like to charge my Nokia 8 wirelessly and I ask for your help with this matter because I have a few question.
* My first question would be: is it even possible? I know that Nokia 8 does not support wireless charging but I have heard about some kind of adapter that would do the magic.
* If it is possible, does it charge the phone much slower compared to the regural charging?
* What is the best solution for this kind of charging method?
* Can you recommend any product that I should check?
Thank you and sorry for my english

Of course not. But, then again, crazier ideas have made it to production in the past.

You can't use wireless charger because simply our phone doesn't have a wireless recoil in it so it's a hardware thing
