Problem with windows update

Happy christmas to everybody..
I have a problem on my kaiser, when I go on system and try to launch windows update while in the beginning it was working correctly now it give me an error and says the conncetion to update server in not reachable and to control settings and hour, but i see it doesn't even try to connect.
My settings are ok and any other connection (weather, quick gps and so on are working)
If i make hard reset it works again... Can somedoby help me so i have not to format my kaiser please? Thanx

Hi,i think that it's the same problem like Live messenger ...
- turn off the phone connection in comm manager
- turn on wifi
- soft reset
- test the update connection.If it's ok,turn on again phone connection.

windows update found no updates
any updates during release from kaiser?

I've had my Tilt for a few months and still no Updates from M$. It appears to be just more bloatware.

I have just tried but the problem is always the same.... It doesn't any try to find the update server and give the error i wrote before...
It looks like no settings to go to search the server... mah
Any other help please?

as far as i know microsoft had no plans of using windows update in wm6 ...i was just a test...but i could be wrong

If true, it makes you wonder why its there, and if MS or HTC put it there
It could be MS planned to use it, but releasing 6.1 will be more profitable

I am very curious to find te reason I have this problem... has somebody the same like me.....????

I'm getting the same issue now as well. Initially I was able to use the windows update even thought it would search and find no new updates for the phone. Now i'm throwing the same error as your phone, simpagirl. I've already master reseted the device twice and still can't connect. Anyone else have a clue or maybe HTC/microsoft disabled/stopped/not going to use the windows update anymore?

Activsync doen't work properly

I upgraded to several different versions of WM6.x (almost all above) but have the same problem. After UG I can't install any software through AS or browse the device with Explorer. Explorer shows no contents and the software screen opens but shows only a frame. I had the same problem with a Hermes and solved it by unchecking the extended network options in settings>connections>USB to PC but when I do that with the MDA II it freezes when I place it in the docking station. I then have to SR. I replaced the serialusbfn.dll with the one available on another post but AS will no longer recognize the device.
Any ideas? I've downgraded to WM2k3SE until I find something that works.
Btw, yes I did do a proper HR (n, yes,yes)

First of all you need AS-4.5
If yes, check the settings in windows firewall.
If you are using some other firewall or virus guard, disable it temporarily.
Right click on AS icon in system tray & select Connection manager, enable USB.
Delete previous partnerships in AS.
Restart the PC & try to connect.
If it fails you can follow the diagnostic procedure which gives a error code, or possible cause. Check the error code with Microsoft web site.
You can also try to uninstall & reinstall AS

I've tried all of that before (should have said so, b4). Here is a little more info:
I sync with 2 different computers, one at home (no network) and one at work (network). Both run WinXP Pro. I only have this problem with the work computer and only when WM6.x is intalled on a MDA II. The problem goes away when using WM2k3SE or when using a Hermes with WM6.x. Since the Hermes works without problem, I don't think it's the desktop.
Something causes the MDA to freeze when activesynce starts. Even the charging light stays on when I pull the unit out of the docking station. Backlight stays at full brightness and it doesn't go to sleep after a time. No buttons (even on/off) work. I can only SR.

thankx but I tried that. It causes the device to not be seen at all. I cradle it and nothing happens.

USB Data transfer rate is too LOW for Syncronizing

i have purchased HTC Diamond with Great Expectation and it is fullfilling it quite well, but recently i got hold up with syncronizing and transfering data from PC to the mobile.
Previously i have removed battery once by impulse then mobile just erased my contact lists, then suddenly i have notice the mobile became way too slow.
so i tried Softreset with no results so i hardreseted to solve the problem.
it did solve the OS speed problem but it has Data transfer rate between PC to mobile is at 1kb/s. it can't syncronize, and transfer files at the moment(way too slow to wait for it)
i tried to search one by one through forum, but seems nobody had same problem. if anybody knows solution to this problem plz plz plz help me.
btw my computer is Vista home premium.

Windows Vista Mobile Center problem

Hey everybody,
Im trying to connect my diamond via mobile center so that I can manage my contacts more comfortable.
My problem is........suprise...it doesnt work -.-
When I plug in my diamond and choose "Active Sync" on the device, somethings trying to install (WM whatever device) and then it stops with the message that drivers are not found and device is not installed properly.
When I open Mobile Device center, I see that after I plug it in it starts searching but never comes to an end, and the installation also fails.
Any idea what went wrong? I have Vista 32bit SP2.
I also installed the setup for more drivers for mobile center. I uninstalled it a thousand times but it simply doesnt find my device and the drivers for WM device...

Well nice that it works for you, tell the whole world buddy but why do you write in this thread when u dont have a solution or the same prob....

Have the error message Code 10, device cannot be startet

Code 10 is a Driver problem.
What hardware is reporting the error?
Have you updated the Driver and directed it so System 32?

HTC tytn 2 and internet settings problem

HI, I got stupid problem.
when I manually put all of settings for my new network lycamobile I have to put username and pasword : plus
but whatewer I do device put there 15 signs password and I cant get it working.
I have tryied some automaticly apps like
SysConSetupTopaz27.cab
HTC Connection Setup PPC v3.1.2016.2829
but none of those programs wont run on my devices, dont know why.
anyone remember those old device which I love and can help me with this issue?
