Is it normal to not get earphones with Nexus phones? First smart phone I've ever ordered that didn't come with them.

I did not see any headphones listed. It has a standard port though so I am sure you must have some around.

a 299 smart phone with no contract has to cut corners somewhere.. I can deal with no headphones

The only phone I ever had (besides iPhone) that came with headphones was the GSIII and I only kept that for about a week.
I too can live without, but yes, it would be a nice addition

I'm just wondering if anyone knows. I got the note 3 on the next program, I love the note 3 it's a beast. Let's say another awesome phone comes out before my year upgrade. Can I sell my note and get that phone? or do I have to give them the note back after my year is up?

You have to have a trade in..and I'm pretty sure it has to be the phone obtained via the Next program

You only have to trade it in if you havent made all the installment payments.
Once you made all 20 payments its yours to keep
You could do 1 lump sum payment and pay it off. Then its yours to keep!

Goodbye SGH-T679 (Exhibit 4g)

Well it had been an awesome 2 years with this phone, but it is just outdated and lacks speed. My wife and I are switching to the galaxy light, she had an S1. The quadcore makes a difference. And comes stock at 1.4ghz I'll miss this little phone a lot, but its time to move on. I'll still be around to answer questions but not on a regular basis.

Sad to see you go, but I understand. I had an S1 before the Exhibit and it was a nice phone. Good luck and nice to know you'll still be here occasionally.

Still using my sgh t679.
I like that it's rooted, small screen (hate the new mini tablet phones people have), and that if I lose it I won't be out 400 or so USD...
And suprising amount of apps are compatible, don't know how long this will last since i am still on 2.3.5 android.

Its so fast and it has wifi calling!!!! How I missed that.

I thought the exhibit could do WiFi calling through Skype, but when I tried today it wouldn't call with the dial pad. Fail! I will like that option.

Got it. $10 a month is really nice, but when I can get it for half that online, I will get it from ebay, maybe. I'm still waiting to hear from t-mobile about working at a store. If that happens, maybe I can get the phone even cheaper. On the T-Mobile site it's 0 down, $9 a month. Why are you paying $40?
Did you buy the phone already? QVC has it for $150 and offers financing to break up the payments without paying more. "Order two and save on shipping!"

Its not$40 a month, it was a $40 down payment. Because my credit is not the greatest.

No. It's 40 down 10/month, right? I understand about the credit. I have horrible credit, as well. I'm glad you're getting the phone. I'm very, very jealous.

Awesome. It's good to hear that it's as good as I have heard. And, I see you already know about the thread on rooting this phone. I think it's still too new. Being on the cutting edge isn't always so good. AD told me about the Light and only went to the S2 because it was already rooted. I'm gonna be patient and wait the few months until I can root it and leave it rooted-stock, anyway. At least for a little while, just to get rid of the bloatware.

Smaller screen, weaker antennas from what I've heard from coworkers, full of gimmicky doo-dads that everyone raves about for 4 Seconds before forgetting about them forever. Nope, sounds like a fair trade to me.
