Happened to me as well. I'm personally curious as to what it is.

From what I've read online, it's pretty much an apk that HTC made for logging purposes (?) and due to some glitchiness it expired early, leading to the notification. According to the Sprint forums they're currently talking to HTC about an update or something to fix this.

Thank's for the info. I was wondering what this was.

My wife just told me she is having this pop up on her phone too, hers is stock and mines runninga custom Rom and I have no issues lol ....wonder when the glitch will be worked out....

Flat rate scheme popup

I powercycled my phone and on boot I got some popup about mobile data:

When I pressed ok it went back to the homescreen but i could get it back just by going to acrive apps where it was listed as "flat rate scheme":
Anyone else had this or know what it is? I havent noticed any changes. I'm rooted and safestrapped with dynamic kat.

Nope, not really much to figure out honestly, was just curious what it was, I have yet to notice any differences.

How to root easiest way?

I want to root (easiest way possible)
and I'm looking to install the most latest, stable, light weight rom which do you recommened? I was hoping cyanogen mod but is it latest android?
P.S It's my mums phone I cant afford to screw it up!

I take it that you are one of the wise guys on this forum. I don't know why you must come back with snide remarks to my post. What does this mean? It doesn't say anything else, just "Security". Should I lock my boot loader?

No, this is a tiny bug, just leave it or restart device it will go. This comes from security app after cleaning previous opened apps, or clean cash, install new apps, whatever you do related to security app. Does not mean a security issue. Just notification is stuck.

There was an app (security) update that fixed it. Have a look around
