Themed aosp kk rom for gionee m2

This rom is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KK), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.​
ROM FEATURES-
Based on latest KK and it's almost bug free
Good Battery Life.

Signal icon and ringtones from our hive rom
Fully deodexed /app, /priv-app, /framework for faster apps opening speed
xposed and other things working.
Based on 4.4.2 AOSP
Due to inbuilt theming some xposed modules will show limited functionality,didn't checked all modules,but 95% will work
BUGS
Couldn't find any-if you found please inform me-i'll try to solve.
Due to inbuilt theming some xposed modules will not work properly-gravity box,xblast etc are working perfectly.
RAM usage is little high due to theme effect-but its smooth ,no lags

Installation Instructions
First time installing to your GIONEE M2, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working CWM or CTR.
- Copy ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
FIRST TAKE A CWM OR CTR BACKUP.
IF YOU'RE NOT SATISFIED WITH MY ROM YOU CAN
ALWAYS GO BACK TO YOUR PREVIOUS ROM.SO TAKE A FULL BACKUP FIRST
-Wipe all Data(System, Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache for wipe menu::::THIS STEP IS NECESSARY)
- Flash zip from SD Card
- Reboot

Anyone can port,modify ,re-upload the ROM for different devices.

This is the stock ROM of elephone. The customization is inbuilt. I just inserted hive signal icon and a round battery icon.rest is completely stock

Can Some one Change the dialer please
ROM looks great otherwise and I am pretty sure will work as a charm. Can some post a ZIP to change the dialer to default or at least some other theme. This one looks so hideous. Just asking. Original Devs please dont mind !:good:

Its a awesome rom i really loved its ui and features.

This rom is too good for people who don't like to play with the rom unlike me , So I don't want to invest time in it and will continue with your AOSP GESTURE rom .
what i don't like :
you can't make too many modifications in the framework and that's totally irritating .
But i can help you for having a successful boot.

this only happens when you have device with 1400-2000 Mah battery but with the giants like gionee m2 , it doesn't bother much .
This drain is only because of high level of framework modification and this is common in Lewa , MIUI , Baidu , Emui etc based roms.

Finally it's out for our use.

some times after some reboots your incoming call no will not became visible . if it happens install gravity box .enable it .open it .there is an option called phone tweaks .in it select full screen caller photo . there enable partial or full

Find status bar background. PNG
Increase its size using Photoshop or any other.
Recompile.

you cant flash one device rom to another device,until both of them are exact clones. i think only walton primo HM and Qmobile Noir M90 (not sure) are exact clones of gionee M2.
another way is port this rom to your device and flash.there are plenty of porting guides available here in xda.

Note-:
1.If you get an error while using camera like-"The phone storage doesn't have enough space.Please release some storage or change the default write disk in settings " -: go to settings->storage->then change default write disk to SD Card.
2.This ROM is tested in 4GB Model (all working flawlessly) , will work on 8GB too. If you encounter any camera issue in 8GB Model-flash your stock boot.img after flashing the ROM.

Swipe down status bar using 3 fingers you'll get gravity box toogles.

Aeroplane mode disables all frequencies from phone. You can't enable WiFi or other network while on airplane mode

Dear Team,
I had flashed this rom everything is working fine even UI is superb. But statusbar fonts are very small (i.e. clock fonts)
Please guide me if any way to increse it's size.
In addition please release patch for removing 2G,3G icons infront of networks....

Open build prop file using root explorer or any file manager . find this line
ro.sf.lcd_density=
Increase the value there
You can put any value between 200 to 240
Increasing the value- increases the size
If there's no such line , just add it at the end of the build prop
This is applicable to all custom ROMs
Network icon fix will soon be uploaded
