Installation Instructions
First time installing to your GIONEE M2, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working CWM or CTR.
- Copy ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
FIRST TAKE A CWM OR CTR BACKUP.
IF YOU'RE NOT SATISFIED WITH MY ROM YOU CAN
ALWAYS GO BACK TO YOUR PREVIOUS ROM.SO TAKE A FULL BACKUP FIRST
-Wipe all Data(System, Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache for wipe menu::::THIS STEP IS NECESSARY)
- Flash zip from SD Card
- Reboot

ROM looks great otherwise and I am pretty sure will work as a charm. Can some post a ZIP to change the dialer to default or at least some other theme. This one looks so hideous. Just asking. Original Devs please dont mind !:good:

Yes, you can
It can be flashed over any kk Rom
Just take a ctr backup before flashing

it heats a lot .
just used for some 5 minutes (installing my back up) and it went upto 42 degress and then antutu gave warning .
i have used axer jb/kk , miui , stock jb/kk , clean kat , but none of them heats so much.
the free ram is the best part as with 5 mods + 50 apk installed the ram was around 340 (used) and that's awesome .
dialer is cool .
quick settings isn't a pleasure to see .
lockscreen cool.
navigation bar can't be added either through GB / Xblast .
also if GB is restored as apk rather than fresh install , some features are installed too.
please do something for heating (it's definetely some kernel derived )

Thanks for your reply and supporting our ROM. As all of we know that this is based on stock Xolo HiveUI ROM, so there may be some problem using xposed or any other framework.....also this is a themed ROM...need some more graphics processing..........
I am also using this ROM and found no any heating issue.......i am checking and if anything found I will provide u as patch............
thers's definetely some heating , may be that is not much high for our beloved gionee m2 but i never had a reading above 37 in any of the roms mentioned above .
ok , leave it .
i have some requests for the whole team :
1)please give a port to make our camera function at the fullest and is compatible with most of the custom roms .
2)can you port xperia/lg lockscreen
3)please review extremebeats studio v2 audio mod which has lowest ram consumption and highest performance and compatibility .
4)can you port colours rom for our m2.

can you post screen shot of your cpu temperature.
none of the users complained about heating issue.
use cpu temperature app from playstore to check cpu temp.
temperature of cpu upto 50°C is normal.
also i'm not using cleankat
hive gives me better battery backup and ram management than any other roms.
so currently no theming works.
will do a theme for changing some icons in hive.

I think you know that every device isn't made identical to other , so may be there's some fault or incompatibility with my system . So , don't worry about that .
you are doing a great job that's why i thanked you the instance i saw the thread but i have one complaint and that's
why didn't you review the mods i requested you to review as i am addicted to those and i know the instance you'll try you'll be addicted too . please review them as i want you to give the best tools to your followers and have them an awesome experience with their device.

is it for 8gb or 4gb edition
First of all guys, I greatly appreciate your hard work. It's really an awesome rom. But reason to post comment is I faced problems in video recording, camera doesn't auto focus while recording videos, gallery tiles are not perfect, only can see all pictures or images in filmstrip view. And yes phone heats some after flashing this rom. Actually I don't have any problem with heating. If it's possible please fix gallery and camera auto focus problems. I do have alternatives for gallery and camera but would like to use real or original which comes with system itself. Thank you..

We ported it to 4gb model.
Used 4gb model stock kk as base.
If you have experience in porting try to replace library files with 8gb stock
In 4gb it's running smoothly
Zero lags

This rom is too good for people who don't like to play with the rom unlike me , So I don't want to invest time in it and will continue with your AOSP GESTURE rom .
what i don't like :
you can't make too many modifications in the framework and that's totally irritating .
But i can help you for having a successful boot.

this only happens when you have device with 1400-2000 Mah battery but with the giants like gionee m2 , it doesn't bother much .
This drain is only because of high level of framework modification and this is common in Lewa , MIUI , Baidu , Emui etc based roms.
Finally it's out for our use.

What is happening here ? No one asked me permissions about all this update thing ? Is this modified cleankat rom or a new rom based on some aosp stock rom ? I don't want another rom with same name as my cleankat, i suggest you to change the name and identity of your rom, it's fine if you still keep cleankat as base and give proper credits, but really, change the name, this is not cleankat, i don't want people to see this as an update to cleankat, just change the name and write that your rom is based on cleankat, that will be good.

I got the ROM from thinkers DEV BD and they gave me permission to port.
They must have modified your original ROM.

Cleankat was my project and I don't want others to use it's name and reputation for promoting their rom, please change the name of your rom, you can't just change my things and increase the version number to post an update without my approval or permissions, correct way is to give another new name to your project and simply write in credits that your rom is based on cleankat.

---Installation instructions---
First time installing to your GIONEE M2, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working CWM or CTR.
- Copy ZIPs to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
-Wipe all Data(System, Data, Cache, Dalvik Cache for wipe menu::::THIS STEP IS NECCESSARY)
- Flash zip from SDCard
- Reboot

1. Reboot into recovery.
2. Wipe data/factory reset.
3. Wipe cache, dalvik cache.
4. Install "MysticOS v6.0".
5. Reboot.

I flashed this mod but after boot system ui is not working
I had flashed mod1 & mod2 also but in that when I tap on weather update from mystic settings its get unfortunately stopped.
minor problem with this rom, sound profiles and ringtone cannot be set by third party apps.....i get only the sound set in default settings application no matter what I choose in Audio Profiles or Sound Profiles app.....weird but it's a no go for me, otherwise good rom

Awesome ROM delighted
My Gionee m2 bricked while doing OTA update . I tried flashing the phone with Stock Gionee ROM but with little success. It was freezing at boot menu.After 3 days of intense effort I came across the Mystic Rom by Raj Shekhar. I could download the Rom with ease, the file size being half of the Stock Rom. Flashed my phone successfully after copying the ROM on Ext SD card. My phone came alive with the Wonderful "Mystic OS". The only hiccup was that the network error was coming.(imei error). I solved it by using "Mobile uncle MTK tool". Now the phone is running silk smooth , no bloatware, I can install only the apps I need, there is lot of internal storage and RAM free. Wonderful experience so far. Thank you Raj Shekhar for this wonderful Rom.

I hope you have solved the radio issue by now. If "Mobile uncle" is not showing the radio option then there is a desktop computer version of the app through which we can create a 'IMEI.bak" file. Then by pasting this .bak file on ext Sd or internal memory of the phone and through IMEI backup / restore option we can correct thie IMEI error.
