Serious Battery issue - G 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Over two weeks, it has happened twice with me that the battery suddenly drains out. Once it suddenly showed 5% after full recharge. Reboot helped and the actual charge started showing.
Another instance happened just now. I was typing in whatsapp when the phone froze and shut down. Then it wouldn't start at all. Had to plug it in for 2-3 mins before it started showing 0% charge. Took another 15 mins before it went to 1% at all.

[Q] Reset Phone & Battery Now Reads 1%

Hello, today I was leaving church and my phone had no signal for about 30 minutes in an area I knew had Sprint service. So I restarted the phone having 80% battery and when the phone turned back on it was on 1%. It won't go back to reading the actual battery percentage, and the phone has been on for 2 hours since this happened so the phone really isn't on 1% battery. Any suggestions on what happened or what I should do?

I would shut it off let is sit for a while, then charge it without the phone on using the OEM charger. They unplug fire it back up. If that doesn't do anything, I would hard reset it.
If you have root maybe try battery calibration from the play store.

yesterday, my phone was stuck at 100% it wouldnt change on reboot or anything. I ran the battery calibration and nothing. what worked, was shutting off for a few minutes. weirdly even recovery would report 100%. after being off for a while, it showed the proper battery at 52%. so weird. fine now though!

Battery gets to 20% and dies within two mins

Every day, the phone gets to about 20% and then straight up falls to 14% - 9% - 4% and then dead within a two minute time span. If I connect to the charger it jumps right back to 20% only to die near instantly if I disconnect the charger. What could be the problem here? I use my phone all day every day, could I have simply used up the battery?

Try looking up battery calibration. There's some stuff around saying that you should drain to 0 then charge all the way (with power off). I've also heard doing that then pressing and holding the power button for two minutes straight does something, but I'm not sure.

Mi Mix Battery Stuck at 91% and died so quickly

So I have this Mi Mix for 2 years now, somehow I cant get my miui 7 to the newest oreo miui 10. So I flashed my phone to miui 10, I lost all my data.
Then everything seems normal for 3 days, then I noticed my battery somehow stuck at 91% not going down or up even when I charged it.
So I searched how to recalibrate phone, it says to drain all the way to 0% then charge it back to 100%
so I drain it to "0%" (while it still says 91%), then the phone died.
So I charge my phone and it still says 91%, so I waited for 4 hours for the phone to charge.
When I turn on my phone, it still says 91% and after 15 minutes of use, it turned off and wont turn on just like its out of battery.
So I charged it back, and same thing happened. every 15 minutes after plug off the phone died.
Help !
Have you tried deleting batterystats.bin?
What voltage app are reporting(like ampere)?
doesn't all that facts pointing to "new battery"?

Battery drops to 0-1% and other battery problems

Every time when I charge my phone and then I remove the charger, my phone shows that my battery is empty.
It can't be empty if I have charged it almost 3 hours.
And also my phone charges faster than before. When my battery is 1% it takes only 5 minutes to 100%.
I watch my phone, it's 5% then 3 minutes later it's 40% and then it jumps to 70% and so on. And phone was turned off.
I was thinking to calibrate my battery but it's almost impossible.

Inconsistent charging on new battery

I changed my battery on my Mi 8 SE 2 days ago and I have been seeing some weird issues when the phone is charging.
The first time I charged it with the new battery it started charging really fast going from 3% to 7% in a few seconds and it charged up to around 40% and stopped, after I unplugged the cable it started draining really fast down to around 30%.
After plugging the cable back in it continued charging and got stuck at 55% no matter what I even turned it on and it showed 70% and wouldn't drop or charge. after a day it finally turned off and I tried charging it again.
This time it had the same issues getting stuck at random %, however it somehow managed to charge up to 100% and I used it normally for about 24h after completely draining it until it shut down.
When I tried charging it again it charged to 81% and got stuck after unplugging the charger it started going down to 60% and got stuck again, when I turned it on it said charged and the battery showed 34% and rebooting it showed 53% and it kept saying charged no matter what.
Has anyone experienced this issue when changing the battery on a phone?
I have been using the original charger the whole time and I have also tried different chargers with the same results. I even tried to unplug and re-plug the battery and it doesn't change anything.
I am using Pixel Experience 11 with the final update and it is not rooted.
