I am having trouble setting up Android Studio Emulator. I have tried many online methods and after hours of trying to fix it, there is still many issues. Can we develop a tv out ike application? I'd really like to be able to mount my g1 to my notebook and be able to control my g1 in a live screen like experience which would include Reading and replying to text messages, accessing applications such as Movies by Flixster and DOOM/Gba/SNES emu's
Basically is there a way to display and control my g1 from my p.c. via usb? I know it would result in downloading something to my notebook and I think there are utilities around here on XDA but I don't know how to get them working.
I think I saw something in the dev section in the last week, I tried to poke around and find it, but couldn't so you will have to page through it.

I have an Asus 1000HA and I don't really know how to set up ADB or work with all that stuff but I'd love to learn, especially if it can help me accomplish what my OP wants.

I gave Droidexplorer a try and it all worked out for me with that one, and I have screencast working through Droid as a plug in and it's all very neat Hopefully I figure out how to use the desktop sms plug in sometime soon.

I really need help i recently rooted my galaxy Note2 GT-N7100 (4.3)and i tried to use the Game Killer Application which is used to edit the values in game. but the problem is even though my phone is rooted it still asks for root privileges and closes on its own and starts again and then disappears on its own again. And regarding GameHacker when i try to change values i see (Modification Failed) ..any help? would be much appreciated. Game Killer and Game Hacker are two of the key reasons why i rooted my device

i use game guardian, it works flawlessly on android 4.0 and up. but some newer games cant be hacked / modify values. for example: a game called DR. DRIVING. you can modify it by searching the progress file. can be found at /data/data/com.ansangha.drdriving/shared_prefs, and edit DrDrivingActivity.xml. find the values you want to modify then save., and if your using root explorer or familiar, root explorer will save a backup copy prior to the last modified XML. so delete DrDrivingActivity.xml.bak before starting the game. hope it give you idea of how it works,

I've spent hours trying to find a way to integrate a Google plus sign in integration for my app so that I can access YouTube playlists as well as sync the account.
In plain terms, I've been looking everywhere and I stopped here because I'm frustrated. Most of the videos people have out are outdated and don't explain how to actually integrate Google plus and youtube funcionality in Android studio.
Simply. I want to access a YouTube Playlist that the user will choose. I want to hopefully do all of this actually IN THE APP.
I'm having difficulty because this is my first shot attempting to do an operation and create a method that involves Internet.
Everything I've done in java has been simple.
I'm trying to actually create my app idea and learn along the way but I have virtually no idea what to do here.

Hi. I've been playing around with android studio for a little while now but I just can't seem to get buttons working, I'm almost pulling my hair out at this stage.
Would anybody make me a small simple app with working buttons so I could download it and open in android studio and play around with it and try figure out where I'm going wrong. I've made the just java app from udacity but I changed something and now thats stopped working

Im a self learning person for making an app. I want to have a facebook login option in my app so I was searching for it how it works.
It went pretty good till step 6 was there. See the image underneath for what that step is.
(If the image does not work - go to the facebook developers site, go to docs, facebook login and see step 6 for windows)
So I tried a lot of things around this, and it just doesnt work. I dont know what im doing wrong.
Is there anybody here who already did this and can give me step by step a solution to get past this step?
(Like to place the java developers kit, which command prompt I have to open, just in detail)
