Headphones Compatibility

Hello guys , bought the Moto G 2014 today but a sad thing popped out.. the Xiaomi Pistons don't work. The jack can't enter totally in the audio socket and my device doesn't recognize them.
I tested some huawei P7 headphones and worked good.
Can you suggest me some Headphones+mic+buttons with same Xiaomi Piston quality but compatible with Moto G 2014? Thanks!
UPDATE FROM MOTOROLA CHAT: They said MotoG2014 aswell as MotoG2013 does not support 3 buttons remote. Just 1 button remote. I'm pretty sad tho

[Q] Moto G 2014 (XT1064 and XT1063) with 5.0.1 doesn't work with some wired headsets

I have three 3.5mm wired headsets:
original headset that came boxed with my old LG Optimus One
original headset (never before used) that came with an old Nokia feature phone
original headset (never before used) that came with an old Alcatel feature phone
I tried these three headsets on these four phones:
Nexus 5 (Android 5.0.1)
Moto E, Tracfone variant, XT830C (Android 4.4.4)
Moto G 2014, US, XT1064 (Android 5.0.1)
Moto G 2014, Global, XT1063 (Android 5.0.1)
The LG headset works fine on all four phones. The Nokia and Alcatel headsets only work on the Nexus 5 and the Moto E. The two Moto G's wouldn't even recognize the headsets (they don't even work for music playback). Regular earbuds also work fine on the Moto G.
What's going on here? Both Moto G's work fine with regular earbuds and the LG headset, so the phones seem to be okay. The Nokia and Alcatel headsets both work fine on the Nexus 5 and the Moto E, so the headsets seem to be okay. So why don't they work with the Moto G? (Esp. since they work fine with the G's smaller sibling, E?)

Moto G 2014 - would you prefer it anytime over ...

Hello Moto G (2014) users,
I am thinking about buying a Moto G 2nd Generation (2014) - the dual sim version. I currently have an Acer Liquid E2 Duo... there are some issues with the Acer (photo quality with the 8M camera is the most annoying for me). That's why I would like to kindly ask you: would you prefer anytime a Moto G 2014 (dual sim version) over an Acer Liquid E2 Duo? Is the camera much better? And what about the battery life? Or would you stay with the Acer?
Thanks a lot in advance for your answers!
Conrad
For my moto g 2014 is very nice, battery during one day with WiFi connect, 2 or 3 call é messages...
Compare them

The camera is good for the price, better than other mid-range phones I've looked at, but also not great. I don't use the camera that much, so it wasn't a priority for me, and I've never used the Acer so I can't make the direct comparison, but if camera quality is your priority, and you don't want to spend the money on a current flagship phone, my advice would be to get an older flagship phone (Like the S4 or LG G2). They aren't the latest and greatest, and you might have to live without the latest Android updates for some (unless you use a custom rom), but you can find good deals, and they'll have better cameras and fast processors than the Moto G.

S4 mini vs moto g 2014

Equipment which is better regarding software and performance? 4mini or motorbike g second generation?

Help me chose!

Hello, I am in need of a new mid range phone. I have two phones in range i.e. Moto G 2014 and Samsung Grand Prime. I don't know which one to choose. Personally I want to get MOTO G 2014 but then the 64-bit processor and better camera makes me want to go for Grand Prime. I don't really need the camera though. But I really like the stereo speakers and build quality of MOTO G. And then again the Grand prime has a 2600 mah battery(which i have heard is not enough for this phone and i dont know how it compares to the MOTO G 2014). I am right now in a big dilemma, PLEASE HELP!

Would be a good choice. My personal opinion:
-Don´t buy anything with less than 2 GB of RAM
-Don´t buy the samsung.

Well Moto G Gen 3 has LOST the stereo speakers.............. that the Moto g 2nd Gen 2014 has..............
thanks everyone
i have a moto g 2014
i think the moto g series its very good for you i have the 2014 version and im very happy with it .
moto g 2015 its better 2gb ram version better hardware but lost the stereo speakers .
i love my moto g 2014 i installed viper4android and sounds very goooood i love it
so buy as you want moto g 2015
I'll buy it when I have money (moto g 2015 2gb ram)
I would also suggest going with the Moto g 2014 (if you are on a low budget you can get a second hand quiet cheap) of the Moto g 3rd gen with 2gb of ram. I would stay away from Samsung (personal preference). Nothing beats stock Android in my opinion.
Dont buy 1 gb ram phones at this tym
Of course if he has the option the 2gb model is the best hands down .
