And I don't know why you need to open a useless thread while there is already one where you could have said it there

There is already a discussion of Xposed for Lollipop here. Feel free to jump in on the conversation there.

Check this thread. Not yet sure if it's going to work on our devices. I've been trying to test the launcher but I got fc. There's a workaround to fix fc but I can't get it to work.

KitKat - too sweet?
Google Now will be part of the operating system, SMS will be integrated with Hangouts. These will close the last relevant "information gap".
I am toying with the idea of stripping off my phone everything related to Google.

... and the presence of Google Search is now compulsory.
Microsoft was dilettante in comparison.
does anyone have success getting it to work for them? I have the Google Search fc every time i try to switch to the new launcher but Google Now works

So am I. I am so sick of the privacy concerns that go along with Google. Not to mention the increase in ads that Google is now releasing

2014 I'veRooted My N3, Now What?

So I search xda and couldn't find anything current.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/sitesearch.php?q=so i'm rooted, now what?
I just rooted my att N3 using Kingo. So now what?
I installed root checker, but that's it.
What do you folks suggest one does with a freshly root N3?
backing up?
removing bloatware?
make the powerful N3 even better?
what things have you rooting pros done with your new N3,
are there "must do" things as well?
I know some of you have really improved your stock N3, what do you suggest one do fresh after rooting?
Titanium Backup is a must for freezing and/or removing bloatware.
After that, check out Exposed Framework and Wanam, That will keep you busy for a while.
I would recommend a custom ROM

They don't say what the difference is when I click on the $6.58 version and read.
I don't wanna just blindly buy something, what do you like about the paid version?

It has a lot of capabilites but I used it for mostly freezing and backing up apps. I'm sure there's a thread around here about the app and all its capabilities.

Would you kindly PM me a recommendation, one without the dreaded KNOX crapola please?

Keep the ideas coming rooters, I'm ready to customize some thangs -
Spend some time and flash any ROMs that appear interesting till you find one you like. Install Xposed framework and browse through all the modules and look for anything that interests you; Wanam and App Setting are probably the 2 most popular modules and sometimes installed already on custom ROMs.

ATT Note 3 android development thread is where all the ROMs made for our phone will be.
Welcome to the community! Titanium backup pro is a must if you're going to be romming and modding you're android devices. Custom roms are definitely the way to go especially being new to android modding. There are a few really smart dudes developing great custom roms for the n9005a. They do all the work that you would want done and they're really good at it. I recommend knoxraid by @drakeymcmb. He has been involved with romming this phone since before we had a recovery to flash from. There a bunch of helpful people that follow his thread.

What does the "Pro" version give you that the free version doesn't, (can't find any info on that in the play store)
Allows you to freeze apps, and allows for automated restore operations. Well worth the money if you plan on restoring backups across multiple roms.

http://www.titaniumtrack.com/titanium-backup.html has a side by side comparison. Little less confusing than the play store pages that predominantly list the pro features.

ATT Note 3 Stock, Rooted with towel, Xposed install?

hi,
hopefully someone gives some light on this question. I heard that installing xposed framework (on rooted Stock) cuasing wifi stop working, and some other issues...I dont know where I read it, but please let me know if installing xposed is all good.
I have my note 3 rooted and have Xposed installed for two weeks now; haven't seen any issues so far, no wifi issues or anything. Running awesome.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Any source on where you heard that?
I've not had Xposed cause any problems with any features of the phone.
Perhaps whoever brought up the problem had troubles caused by a certain module?
Xposed itself works just fine though.

[Q] Pandora hack won't install

6. Do not post warez.
If a piece of software requires you to pay to use it, then pay for it. We do not accept warez and nor do we permit any member to request, promote or describe ways in which warez, cracks, serial codes or other means of avoiding payment, can be obtained. What hacked Pandora?
Sent from my GT-N8013 using XDA Premium HD app
He means a modded Pandora .apk that implements unlimited skips and no ads.
Try downloading a different version somewhere off the net, cant say where but there is a bay full of pirates somewhere out there that has a lot of versions.

Both my parents have the note 4and regularly used the hacked Pandora on their note 3's. Now when we try to install the Pandora it won't install it will on every other device through. The one from the play store WILL install but the hacked will. The phones are NOT rooted. Has Samsung implemented some new security technology that checks for changed apks? *note the does note install screen does not give any message except for does not install

Just so you know that is considered warez and the mods flip about it. So be aware
BAD ASS NOTE 4
I know about wares and I'm not distributing it just trying to figure out if Samsung has implemented something new that prevents them from being installed

4.4 I think. I tried Version 5, but it had issue still allowing Ads and it kept giving me the volume warning, this version doesn't do that.

If you have ART turned on it won't work. ART fixes a bunch of loopholes for running hacked apps. Just an FYI, most pirated apps won't work after lollipop update.

Yea, if you have ART Runtime enabled, 9 times out of 10 the Pandora App will not work.
You can also get an ART version of the app if you want to stay on the runtime.
If you look in the must have root apps thread, you'll see someone using Pandora Patcher as an Xposed module. It's very easy to install if you are rooted. Works great also. As for the patcher itself, just Google it.
