How to change the splash screen in the XPERIA Z with locked bootloader. Basically which twrp img do we need ot use? the open or the stock? and if we need to use the stock, how can we use the older stock twrp img on the 10.5.1.A.0.292 firmware (latest firmware)? Please tell me in detail as to what all steps i need to follow and which TWRP am i supposed to select in TWRP recovery while changing the splash screen (I have the latest Dual recovery installed i.e. XZ-lockeddualrecovery2.8.2-RELEASE).
I have installed the rest i.e.AIK-Mobile-Installer. through flash already. Introduction
MultiROM is one-of-a-kind multi-boot mod for Nexus 7. It can boot any Android ROM as well as other systems like Ubuntu Touch, Plasma Active, Bohdi Linux or WebOS port.Besides booting from device's internal memory, MultiROM can boot from USB drive connected to the device via OTG cable. The main part of MultiROM is a boot manager, which appears every time your device starts and lets you choose ROM to boot. You can see how it looks on the left image below and in gallery. ROMs are installed and managed via modified TWRP recovery. You can use standard ZIP files to install secondary Android ROMs, daily prebuilt image files to install Ubuntu Touch and MultiROM even has its own installer system, which can be used to ship other Linux-based systems.
Features:
* Multiboot any number of Android ROMs
* Restore nandroid backup as secondary ROM
You can also watch a video which shows it in action.

WARNING
It is dangerous. This whole thing is basically one giant hack - none of these systems are made with multibooting in mind. It is no longer messing with data partition or boot sector, but it is possible that something goes wrong and you will have to flash factory images again. Make backups. Always.

Yes, I know this bug. Multirom-TWRP doesn't work in landscape currently. You have to change it to landscape. So, go to Settings -> Screen and set rotation to 90.

Your warranty is now void.
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you. Hard. A lot
Unlocking Bootloader/Root/Recovery (Required)
Just follow steps from Sony Developer World Mobile
http://developer.sonymobile.com/unlockbootloader/unlock-yourboot-loader/
1 - Make sure you have a Recovery pre-installed (via boot partition or bootstrap hack) and Bootloader Unlocked
2 - Download the latest version
3 - Flash it via your recovery
Now you ask "i still have the CWM Philz, what to do?"
You will need a custom kernel with support to load recovery from FOTAKernel, check this
For now only one Custom Kernel support it, the FalconSS Kernel
4 - Flash FalconSSKernel or any other Kernel with this support via recovery
5 - And Enjoy!!!
TWRP3 - Support from Stock KitKat to CM14.1 Based- Zip Flashable - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767133664
Support: All Xperia E1 Variants
How to get into recovery: The LEDs will flash green, in this moment you can press Volume buttons and wait, you will see a Blue/Cyan color in LEDs, you will enter iin recovery.[/B]
No issues related to TWRP3 (If you found someone, just report. Thanks!)

Actualy, the dual recovery exploit, use the bootstrap folder into the root of the storage to boot a recovery without having a UB, then if you want a PhilZ and TWRP, you unlock your BL, flash TWRP 2.8, Caio kernel AND THEN you have dual recovery
Ok, so far I got TWRP flashed, but the problem is it shows the TWRP start logo, but doesn't boot to the UI/Options. I waited for 15 minutes and it didn't boot. Hope this can get fixed

Tested on R0r2 FalconSS Kernel, TWRP 3.0 Passed on Recovery but not on UI/Option on Xperia E1 (D2005). Hope it can be fixed. Good work though.
TWRP 2.8.1.0 R2 is on!
Fixed font size
Fixed device set
Partially fixed mtp
Removed default max brightness
I think so
Not is really NEED to update, but is more good than the previous release
You still need FalconSSKernel or kernel compatible with load FOTAKernel ramdisk

@arpit_nnd
The Chinese TWRP 3.0.2.0 is quite big so I think they maybe use Lolilop prebuild kernel with build-in .dt file.
I don't know how your TWRP Build but the Chinese TWRP and Sevenmaxs's can not install Aroma.
But my TWRP 2.8 can install well.

Hey everyone , welcome to yet another project where we meet as always.
I've finally decided to make a theme for TWRP rather than my old stupid method which was theming the TWRP imgs, so.. yeah I hope you like it.
|blacked-twrp|blacked-twrp|blacked-twrp|blacked-twrp|blacked-twrp|blacked-twrp|blacked-twrp|
PHP:
^- HARD THEMED ALL ICONS
-- CHANGED RADIO BUTTONS - RIGHT MARKS - ETC ..
!# 2 VERSIONS :
| INVERTED - BLUE | :
-- THEMED ALL ICONS IN GRADIENT BLUE
| INFINITE - GOLDEN | :
-- THEMED ALL ICONS IN GRADIENT GOLD
^- And it's for any Android device that has TWRP 3.x installed.

How to install:
1. Download your desired theme to your device
• if you have any problem with downloading make sure you disabled any AD-BLOCKER you have
2. Go to recovery mode ( a.k.a TWRP ) and install the theme as a normal zip file
3. Reboot
• Test and let me know if you have any problem with anything
How to uninstall/remove:
• Head to /sdcard/TWRP/theme using your favourite file explorer.
• Remove what's inside the theme folder, that's it.
• If you want to go back to your previous theme you'll find a file called ui_old.zip, just flash it as a normal zip file.
AND LASTLY IF YOU LIKE MY WORK HIT THE THANKS BUTTON , I APPRECIATE THAT .

This is a custom recovery , it can be installed over any type of ROMS or firmwares ..
You just need to have an installed TWRP already .
This is an a/b device. We don't flash twrp. We boot it... then flash the ROM, then twrp installer after. So unless you build this into an installer zip it's useless to Tissot users.
Other than that... It's beautiful and different.
Wow I love it! ?

Well, after installing any rom, you will lose twrp if you don't install the twrp installer zip. So, I'm pretty sure most of us lost twrp after pie update. We have to wait for a twrp image for pie, then we'll be able to use this recovery. Love your work btw ?

I build a full black themed TWRP for the Oneplus 8t.
This is based on the latest TWRP done by @theincognito
This nice black Theme was originally created by @Morphine1 and @acuicultor for the Oneplus 6 series.
The .img file can be booted in the same way as the normal TWRP with:
fastboot boot twrp_black-3.6.1-11-0-kebab.img
Download (check subfolder Oneplus 8t for TWRP-black.zip and .img)
Full black TWRP based on: TWRP-3.6.1_11-0
Last Update: 2022-03-11
In addition to that on the root of the above download link there is a black themed UI.zip file
[BLACK]twrp-3.6.x_uitheme_v1.0.zip
which can be flashed on any blue themed TWRP to get a black theme to that.
This is a bit different then this fully themed black TWRP as that will just black theme the UI and not the whole TWRP with TWRP boot logo etc as this fully black TWRP theme does.
That black theme will get flashed to /SDCARD/TWRP/theme/ui.zip
Credits:
@theincognito for TWRP for the Oneplus 8t
@acuicultor and @Morphine1 for creating this nice black Theme from the beginning
like
Hi all!
I have updated the OP with info on how to just flash a black theme [BLACK]twrp-3.5.x_uitheme_v1.0.zip
to any blue themed TWRP.
That can just be flashed in TWRP and will apply a slighly different black theme then the full black theme here to any blue themed TWRP.
Thanks to acuicultor for building that black TWRP UI theme.
That will get installed to /SDCARD/TWRP/theme/ui.zip
To remove that again just delete the file ui.zip in /SDCARD/TWRP/theme
It's possible to flash themed .img recovery using official Twrp? I meaning to select recovery partition on official Twrp

If you use the Theme file [BLACK]twrp-3.5.x_uitheme_v1.0.zip you can just flash it in the official blue themed TWRP to get the black theme installed.

Yes, I've read but it's different from yours fully black themed Twrp
Thank you for posting it officially. I was waiting for an XDA post from long time. Using this and 6T from a while and absolutely loving it Thank you sir !

Yes exactly flashing the [BLACK]twrp-3.5.x_uitheme_v1.0.zip in the blue TWRP will add a black theme to the TWRP gui.
When you flash the twrp_black-installer-3.6.0-11-1-kebab_20211222.zip from the Oneplus 8t folder it will re-flash the TWRP with a complete black theme, so even the TWRP Boot logo screen etc will be black themed and the reboot menu looks a bit bitter than the applied theme Version.
So you can just fastboot boot the twrp_black-3.6.0-11-1-kebab_20211222.img file and take a look how it looks before flashing it.
Updated the fully black themed TWRP with latest TWRP 3.6.0_11-3
Download link is updated in the OP.

Good to know. Thanks
And that was working with the previous full black Version?
EDIT: OK I took a look at this and have found what I missed here. Since I have not updated the reboot button menu with the latest one from the blue TWRP from the Oneplus 8t there is the fastboot button missing in the full black themed TWRP now.
I will add that and upload a new Version later.
Hi,
Thank you for @Wishmasterflo for all you are doing for OnePlus community,
For now I was wondering if it would be possible to have dualboot in TWRP like for OnePlus 6/6T?
Thanks,

Hi!
Since from the Oneplus 7t and onwards series phones are using dynamic partitions it is not possible in the way I did that for the Oneplus 6 series to create a Dualboot on Oneplus 8t.
