I've been trying to install xposed framework on cm12 since it's compatible lollipop, but there's no way to flash the xposed armv7 zip and install the xposed alpha apk.
I have the cm12 recovery

1. ask in the xposed dedicated thread

Try using TWRP recovery to flash the zips.....
@kyasu has the packed the latest TWRP version for flashing to the FOTA partition in this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=58854063&postcount=229

Did you ever get it working? Because now the only way I can get it is if I soft reboot through the installer, but that kills my network connection...

Yes I got it! What I did is flash the zip through recovery then install the apk and then flash the zip in recovery again... The only problem is that every time you install a new module you have to flash the zip again

Did you have to do the soft reboot thing, or did it just work? Regardless that's awesome news!

It just worked! But there were some modules that didn't work though. Anyways it just an alpha so we'll have to wait to final version.

With the cm12 recovery, if you go to "Apply Update" then you can also pick zip files. But since it's pretty useless otherwise, the FOTA Kernel is the best option.
I've flashed xPosed on Lollipop and after restart cannot install anything & that which was previously installed is no longer available!?!?!?

You have issues with root.
How did you root? Have you disabled RIC? Did you give xposed root rights with supersu app?
Try checking root with a root checker
Iam rooted and I checking it. I cannot remember the method that I have followed for rooting. That is the RIC?

Well, that message from xposed says you are not rooted.
Untill you can remember how you rooted or you can confirm you are rooted then we can not go any further.
Please root again or show a screenshot of your super user app giving root access to other apps, and show that you can create a file in the system partition or data/app folder of your phone to confirm you are rooted.
RIC is in sys/kernel/security/sony_ric/enable and should be set to 0. Unless you have killed it with an init.d script or a kernel mod it will always revert to 1 on a reboot and hence you will lose root.

In recovery.
Could you provide me detailed instructions?
Thank you in advance

Place the file I posted on your sd card
reboot to recovery and choose install zip from sdcard.
But first, have you installed a recovery? If not look in the cross device development section for dual recovery and install that
I used LP Stock-Pre rooted, i try to install Xposed but got boot loop sothat i cannot install GravityBox.
I read some threads and people said that Xposed only works for Deodex Rom?
Is that right?
and someone please make the close all button in recent apps

No. Its not. I've got the same problem. Rootcheck tells me its not rooted. Can anyone help please?
Just flash supersu zip file through recovery.
With the Cm 12.1 you have the device rooted by default, BUT it needs to be ACTIVATED..., you have to unlock the developers options, then go to administrative access, then put aplications and ADB, and you will have the device rooted now...

check out the supersu beta thread. currently is v2.52. its good to go if you're using 5.1 or 6.0 rom. flash thruogh recovery.
If you installed cm12.1 just you have to do open developer settings and again you have to open root permission in developer settings (im not english guys, if i'm writing false pls dont ban xd)
maybe i was have to read the thread. Sorry guys this suggestion already written.
Hi. I have cm12.1 and I use xposed framework v84, I saw there is an update to v85. Should I just flash the zip to get xposed updated? I don't know if there is a risk with modules on.
Thank you!

Just flash v85 and wipe cache&dalvik afterwards. That's it.

As an addition to this question, I have a LG v10 which requires an additional file to be flashed with Xposed in order to keep the second screen from crashing during a call. Would that file need to be reflashed due to upgrading?

V84 and above no longer need the second screen fix, since LG's encrypted apps are now supported.
