[Q] sounds fades out on speakers nexus 6? - Nexus 6 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Dunno but I get this on GT racing. I'm wondering if its trying to "normalize" the volume or something

I mean there is no way for me to tell that your sound issue isn't related to you dropping your phone.

It happens to me too, on stock as well. Thought that was normal

hmm

I meant on stock software, I usually run custom ROMs.
I thought it was normal, maybe a lollipop bug or something, but IDK. I'm usually on BT so it doesn't bother me that much

I have volume fadeout problem in all ROM ( Stock, CM12.1, Chroma). I try a lot to find solution at all, I think very few people having this issue, and no developer noticed this problem with here device.

It is a known issue. You can RMA. There are several threads about it.

I RMAed my phone when it was doing that and the replacement one has been perfect ever since.

So was mine until it got to 40% battery. See link above. Maybe you could do some tests

You mean you're replacement has started dropping audio also? It does appear to start from 40% onwards for me also
I was thinking of getting it replaced

Galaxy Gear vibration failure

Hi everyone,
My GG was on null 10.1 working fine. This evening i realised that the watch was not vibrating at all.
I restarted. No vibration.
I wiped. No vibration.
I am now downloading the stock firmware and am going to flash via odin because i think it is a hardware failure and the watch needs to go to service point.
Anyone with similar experience?
Thank you in advance!

Thank you mate for your time and everything you've done that made the Gear a better device.
Will post back after flashing stock.
Flashed stock and the vibration still is not working. Didinthe *#0*# test and it does not vubrate at all.
Very displeased with that.
Off to the service point.
I am having the same problem. My gear isnt vibrating. Any luck getting it fixed?
Mine just started doing the same thing as well. And vibration test did nothing.

[Q] battery died?

hi guys, I have some problems with my phone/battery i'm using rimmer's aosp atm but it is surely not rom related btw (I've already done some troubleshooting myself!)
well the phone (xperia T) started suddenly to shut down itself randomly. i did many tests (i was afraid about the phone sdcards at the beginning), then i noticed that if i keep the wall charger connected the phone never shuts down, so i think i have a died battery? do you agree?
only solution take it to the service centre?
thanks in advance!!
May I ask, how old is your phone?
less than 1 year old: i bought it exactly 9 months ago ;(

hmmm possible, but I'd expect 2 years shelf life. Well who knows how long it was laying on the shelf.
There were some defect battery reports with reboot symptoms.
Thanks. Yes I remember someone reported that, but here it doesn't reboot, it suddenly shut down. then I reboot, and it shut down almost immediately after the launcher start up. If I reboot with charger plugged in, it stays on...
It seems to happen especially when battery is around 50%, and not happening when battery is fully charged..?!
Well will try soon if that will happen with stock based too, if so I will restore the backup TA, flash a stock FTF and then go to service.. ;(
Thanks again bye!
I have similar problems , does/did your phone shut down if you open the recovery ? , did you fix it ?
phone did shutdown suddenly when it was on, with any rom i tried. but strangely, in recovery it didn't shutdown if i remember right, in fact i could try different roms and don't remember it shutting down while in recovery.
brought it to the service, they replaced the battery, and problem was definitively fixed this way

So we can pretty much conclude that it is the battery
You can also feel it that your battery is getting hotter then normal or if you take it out it you can spin it like spintop

Yes! The dame thing! I ordered new battery and now the phone it's OK!

Just got a random reboot.

I was in settings/storage, and tapped on apps. The phone lagged then opened the apps section. I tapped the back button and then the phone shut off and restarted. I am rooted, twrp recovery, but using the stock rom.
Has anyone else experienced this at all? Wondering if it is a widespread thing, or not.

Cool story bro
I've been getting way too many random reboots. Something as simple as turning off wifi or turning it back on will cause it. I'm not sure why it does it and I'm fully stock, unrooted. I've seen suggestions about clearing the cache and I've done that, but the problem continues. I'd say it does it on average once every couple of days.
Now that's a cool story, bro.

I've thought about wiping and starting over, but I'd rather find out that it's a known issue with a fix before I go through all of that work. It's not like I've been flashing ROMS and messing around with the radios or anything like that.

Random Reboots

Note 4 has been randomly rebooting lately. Just today it's happened at least 3-4 times randomly throughout the day, even when I wasn't using the phone. Is there any way to pinpoint what exactly is causing the random reboots?

Would flashing another kernel help? Sorry I should've included more info! I currently am rooted and I am running rapture rom which is based on stock NK4. Other than what the rom has to offer the only other mods I have installed are surround sound, camera quality mod, & xposed framework

HELP!!!Voice call and echo 😐😐😐

Guys I need help, when I made voice call people can hear echo when talk to me on phone, but I speak normal and everything is clear? Can anyone give advice?
Try turning the incall volume down a bit. I usually have the reverse issue and that squares things away. Might help for your issue as well.

Uhm.. If its so as you said; probably carrier or hardware issue. You better try(if not yet) another sim etc.
In case; the same issue occurs for me, and some users who uses T-Mobile based rom on their international variant devices. When in a call, I dont hear an echo but other people hear their voices again. Never mind sitriw, you knocked-out me No idea.

Same issue here, except it's with Salt Mobile here in Switzerland. My impression is that while in handsfree mode, the microphone picks the voice. Looks like a very cheap hardware that is not capable of delivering a proper user experience
