Hello! I've been having trouble with upgrading to Android Lollipop 5.0.x. After I upgraded, everything works fine, except for calling - after I call once, and hang up, the dialer is stuck on "Hanging Up", and if I close+reopen it, it won't make any calls until reboot. I've tried 3+ different roms, different Kernels, and different Kernels. I have also made sure that I have the 12B bootstack+radio. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks!
I can receive calls though; but after the call ends, even though I closed out of the phone app earlier, it goes back to the original phone call and is stuck on hanging up.

Ever since i updated to v4.2 of Cyanogen I've been getting a weird problem. I'll get a call and cannot unlock my phone, I can't see who is calling, it just shows the desktop. If I answer I can talk, but the phone will reboot itself in the middle of the call.
I've tried to wipe/reinstall and it just started doing this again. Anyone else run into this kind of problem?
i believe there were issues regarding this posted in his thread. however, are you running the newest build? if not i would suggest updating, once again. there has been few bugs patched up! also, run fix_permissions....worst case senario completely start over, that means rc29+.
Hello all,
i spent quite some time researching my issue and found out that there is a bunch o people with this problem. The downside is, none of the recomended fixes seem to work.
Description: I recently got a S4 active i9295 with stock rom. Everything clean, nothing custom on it(i belive). For a couple of hours it worked like a charm, then, when i want to call someone, the transition from contacts to dialing screen lags a bit and then it goes into dialing and thats about it. Nothing else happens from there on. I loose signal and it keeps showing that it dials (i let it like this for about 15 minutes and nothing happend). I cannot end the call, it remains stuck in "dialing" mode, i can use all the other functions though. After a restart it works again. Same goes for sending SMS. The icon spins and spins but never sends the SMS, only after a reboot. Also when someone calls me, they get a "no answer" signal and my phone just looks ok, like normal standby but when i want to call back, it freezes at dialing.
I tried 3-4 different stock 4.4.2 roms, hard reset, wipe/clear cache, safe mode... It works fine for 15-20 calls/2-3 hours and then it does it again. After that point it only gets worse and it happens more frequently.
Any ideas on what could cause this or how to permanently fix it? Unfortunately, returning the phone is not really an option.
Thanks to all, best regards.
No one?
I apologize if this has already been talked about, but I couldn't find any mention of it. My issue is that the majority of the time, I can't make outgoing calls. It will show dialing for 30-60 seconds and then hang up. Also, on the few calls I can get to connect, when I hang up, the phone freezes and won't hang up. I'm on T-Mobile running stock 5.1 w/Franco kernel. Any help to fix this would be appreciated.
Edit: I'm on the .95 radio. Flashing a different radio doesn't fix the issue.

So, like the title says, I have a Droid Turbo and I unlocked it using Sunshine. The new method without needing Kingroot. I then installed twrp and super su. Everything else is as it was before unlock. stock rom, nothing modified since unlock. Everything works perfect except my phone doesn't ring.
I did notice this though... before I got my Turbo, I got (and still have) the Verizon signal enhancer thing cause signal sucks at my house. My old phone and my wifes phone connect to it when making calls. You know it does cause it gives two beeps. My Turbo has never connected to that thing until I unlocked it. Now it does.

So you still get calls, but the phone just doesn't ring? Does it work properly when you are out of range of the signal enhancer?
no it doesn't ring anywhere. I just get the GV email with the message the person left me.
You bring up a good thought, not gonna lie. How do I know if my phone just isn't ringing or if I can't receive calls at all and it just goes straight to voicemail... Time to go hunt down my daughters phone for some testing.
It rings and then goes to VM when someone calls me. My phone doesn't do anything. It doesn't even acknowledge I have a call coming in. I can make calls though
TheSt33v - Thanks! It may not seem like much but, sometimes all we need is a different perspective. You asking that question made me check to see if I was actually getting calls. Hadn't thought of that. I wasn't. So, I tried turning Enhanced calling off for testing and rebooting. call came in. I turned it back on and rebooted. Call came in. Seems like it might have been stuck and just needed toggled on and off.

Awesome! My work here is done .
Hello!
My first thread on this one of a kind forum! So here's my problem: sometimes, when I get a call, the phone lights up and shows the caller name and call receiving interface, but no matter how many times I swipe left or right, it hangs and eventually the call drops. But on the other side, the call keeps on ringing. Which means the person on the other side thinks I am a lazy bum who never picks up :| (ie. My mother :|) There are good days and the bad days, meaning, I experience only one or two call drops on some days and then there are days when every freaking call gets dropped.
Solutions I have tried:
1) I noticed the problem first when I updated my phone to lollipop (official update). So I figured maybe the update was at fault. When the problem got severe I decided to roll the version back to kitkat. So I unlocked the boot loader and flashed the firmware.
2) Unfortunately, the problem persisted even then. It's important to understand this problem only started after the update. First four months with original firmware were total bliss.
3) Since even the original firmware gave me a lot of hell I decided to bid adieu to the whole institution of moto firmware and flashed cyanogen 12. The problem is still sometimes evident. Not as much as the moto firmware. But it's still there.
What to do? Is my hardware at fault? I hope not. If not the hardware, then how to fix this software problem? And why is it happening in cyanogen if it's a moto firmware issue? What can I do? Please help! Thanks.
