Hello,
Did you try to change Headphone type under Setting>Sound>Audio Setting>Headphones
or changing ClearAudio+
Also could you explain more about "after connecting that headset phone volume goes down" do you mean the voice in headset is Low
if so i think that normal since Smartphone lower the voice to lower the harm of high volume, if not please clarify thanks.
No. It seems like after connecting headset the button of volume down is beeing continously pushed.

Have we figured out how to eliminate volume warning yet?

Not only the volume warning but I'd also like to figure out how to have my all of my bluetooth devices not go down in volume when I'm playing music just to make the stupid notification sound or text sound or charger plug in sound. Like every time I plug in the charger it seems like a 4 second pause in music just to make the stupid noise.
Same here
I can live with the volume warning -- it's the reduced volume via bluetooth and plugin headsets that's driving me crazy. Galaxy S6, and I could swear it was working okay for a while, then the volume just dropped off via bluetooth. Plugged in my favorite headset and same problem. Maybe I'm wrong about that part: my old LG 41C delivers several times the volume, and this is totally unacceptable. Anybody know a fix?

Automatic volume down issue when headset connected

Hello all,
I have seen this bug in many motorola phones. Pls find bug explanation below.
Everytime when i connect headset in 3.5mm jack, audio volume and ringtone volume goes down automatically and even goes to DND mode.
I found temporary fix by playing some audio while connect headset jack, which avoids this issue.
Anyone knows permanent fix, please reply.
It happens only when I connect headset of samsung with other head set it works great
So I thik it is just compatibility problem
I was also having problems with a Sony headphones. What I did was to remap the volume down button for headphone.
I think it's not a bug but feature. The phone maintains the status of volume level differently for the case when headphone is inserted and when the headphone is not inserted.
I don't have evidence for this, though but as much as I've observed, that's how it works.
The issue is due to the difference in architecture of 3.5mm headphone pin the inner architecture of the Moto phone is built according to it's headsets.
When you connect other headset eg. Boat it hits the inner plate which is responsible to lower down the volume as in some headsets there is option to decrease and increase the volume.
Power button will also not work by the time as the phone senses that lower volume rocker is being pressed simultaneously.
Solution : Screen off your phone plug in the headphones screen on and use it.

Anyone else having problems with headphone audio since last update?

For some reason my phone won't play sound through the headphones anymore, it recognises headphones and picks up audio from the microphone but no sound comes through no matter the volume level. I've tried several headphones and even an aux cable in the car
Has anyone got any suggestions of a fix?

Headset (earphone) issues after disconnecting from Bluetooth device

I am facing a strange problem on my V40 (Indian variant).
It has no issues in connecting to my car's head-unit automatically (after the initial pairing), however, once i get out of my car (Bluetooth still on) and then plug-in my earphones (headset which came with the box), it thinks i am connected to a call and shows the "in-call" volume controls whenever i try to adjust volume. Also, the sound is very distorted at lower levels (<10%) and toggling the quad-dac option does not have an effect..
This persists even if i switch off blue tooth on my phone.
Only if i do a restart, the phone again recognizes the earphones properly (and quad-dac works again).
Tried this with various headsets (earphones with mic) and result is same; also tried clearing cache/doing a factory reset but the problem still persists. Note that it doesn't happen when I plug-in a earphone/headset without mic (it works properly as expected); but the issue is when we plug-in an earphone with mic.
Are any of you facing a similar issue, i googled but could not find a resolution. :crying:
