Gmail app forecloses

Ok I'm a long time cyans build user
I never had any problems what so ever using he's builds everytime there perfect
I don't have my fone service at the moment but I use my brothers sims
Which of course he also has a white G1
He let's me use he's sim so I can use my gmail and update and stuff
But one day I notice I had foreclose on the sign up pop up window
And I just pretty much ignored it
And now I had applyed. The cyans build 4.2.4 everything worked perfectly.
But two things my browser and gmail
Ill try to use my gmail app .. but when I try to .. it just trys to sync but a window pops up
Foreclose and I have to close it cuz there's no option of course
And my browser sumthings will just auto will close by itself
And I have tryed to ask cyan for help but he never responds its not because he's mean or sumthing but I bet he has a life and does way toooo much for the community so I just wait
But now I can for help here maybe u guys could help
Right now I just updated to 4.2.5 and still same thing .. everything is great but those things
Keep happening ... any help is welcome thanx

i'm having the same problem myself. can you use logcat right after you get the force close and post it here. i'll post mine later on.

no it just. I get a foreclose when ima sign in to gmail account so I can sync my numbers and etc etc. Right ..
Well sumthings I would get a foreclose balloon or a wait button ... so yeah I would press wait and it would go away .. but that happened a few times .. until one day it just said foreclosed completly and I had to wipe the newly build 4.2.4 ... that's when I saw my gmail didn't work anymore

hahaha it's probably packaged into a CDO now

This used to happen to me as well... All I did was to re format my ext partition, wipe and re flash the rom. Ever since, its been working flawlessly. Hope its helpful.

But I don't have any sort of partition wat so ever any kind
I alwaysed stood by cyans builds easy stuff cuz I don't have a pc of my own

Hi yall i just got my galaxy s with t mobile im root it n flash nero.v3.. ok everything seen perfect but like two days ago i notice that when im surfing the web the phone it turn the light on n show the menu option is like im clickin the menu but im not .. ok .. but now it happen when im listen to music or when im open espn score center it open the.menu by itself.. hope i make myself clear .. i hard reset n stop doin it but today it start again it turn the light on n show the menu... can someone tell.me whats wrong please thanks

[Q] Whatsapp/recording/music problems

Hello you Masters!
First of all, HI! My name is Luis, im from Vzla (South America for those that have never look at a map), this is my hmm... third day with a Sony Ericsson Xperia X8, first time using Android (had a BB but well lets say I dropped it and got tired of BB platform so WELCOME ANDROID!) I will be checking and using this forum from now on since is the best site to check for any information regarding my X8 and i will be glad to be an active member of this community so pleeease excuse me for being a noob and for my very very bad english.
Now, Thx to this site I managed to root my phone and install a new launcher (yaay im a pro xD) BUT there are a lot of things i dont know how to do and theres particulary one that makes me go mad, my music library contains not only the music I download but also EVERY SINGLE voice note y send/receive using WhatsApp and I dont like this, so is there any way to change the folder where those voicenotes will be saved so they dont merger with my music? It´s very annoying to be listening to music and suddenly a wild sexy voicenote from my girlfriend appears while my phone is plugged to an Stereo and all my family is listening... Yes, it happened...
OH! and the other thing is "can I make my phone to turn off the screen after 1 minute BUT without it being blocked? so i can just press a butttom to make it come to life again without needing to unlock it again? something like i just want it to lock ONLY if i press the top buttom"

Hello. Welcome to xda
Stock player don't have option to set a library folders. I love PowerAmp, which is the best player in my opinion (it's free for 14 days). It has such option, so it's quite handy.
And few words about lockscreen. In custom ROMs such as GingerDX or MiniCM you'll find CyanogenMod Settings with many cool tweaks. You should try it, your phone will be fast as hell

Download 'No Lock' from the Market and disable the lockscreen when you want to prrss a button

@Irish: in a few words I LOVE YOU! that locked damn thing was driving me crazy. No Lock was the solution!
Any other "totally free" music app you would reccomend?

i have xperia sp ,
In recent months i see a big problem in my xperia sp and i have no idea why its happening !! i dont had this issue before and i dont know why now its like this !!!
WHEN MY SCREEN IS OFF , THE SOCIAL massaging APP like VIBER LINE WHATSAPP , NOT DELIVERED massages TO ME !! AND As soon as the , I TURN ON THE SCREEN ALL OF MSG RECIEVE !!!
infact the social app like viber line whatsapp is useless for me now :| because if i want to recieve msg i should keep my screen on in all of day :| :| :| ....
this problem is JUST for msg App ... i recieve all instagram or market or game notification without any problem ! but in msg app , i see this problems

1. my stamina mod is off
2. i test factory reset , full wipe and .... !! and many ROMS !! but its not fixed !!!
3. one of my friend said to me that its for low memory , he said the ram is near to full and close app automaticly , but its not true because after flashing rom i install JUST viber , line and whatsapp and its hapened again
4. in wifi>advanced>keep wifi on is checked !!! problem not for this
5. i dont have any autoclosing app like Greenify
6. in somewhere i see this :: " Reflash Stock ROM and try Whatsapp only (or Line only or Viber only)" ... but is not solution !! is Postern from problem ! my friends have 11 social app in sametime in iOS and he never have any issue like this
so , please give me a solution thanks

I would also like to tell you an issue that's been happening with xsp since like forever? if u try to make calls through viber you hear the first 5sec or so then the other person stops hearing and me too, was tested between 2 xperias, tried on different roms and stock

Notification push problem

Hi everyone , I got my Chinese Zuk 2 and flashed it to the Indian rom , 2.0.111 ST , it is a very good ROM with outstanding sot , but my problem is the notification, it doesn't come in time and I have to open the application to keep getting them , if I remove the application from recent menu it kills it not close it , also my widgets doesn't update itself and I have to do it manually , any ideas in getting this problem solved please?

I had the same issue with my zuk z2 pro. I think its a general ZUI problem. I switched to a custom Mokee ROM and notifications work fine. Although there are other bugs I can live with.

Did you exclude the apps with push notifications and all Google play services from the zui battery optimizations?

You have to exclude apps from battery optimization and also you have to active autostart for the apps. Just for safe, it's better if you turn off "autoclean" (of RAM) in SafeCenter! Let's know if it works.

Where can I get download link for stock Indian zui 2.0.111 ST. Kindly share if you have one.

Nice to hear that it's working perfect!

I was having push issues before the 2.3 update but that fixed it.
