I'm hoping you guys can help. I hate the text message access from the my ford sync, if a message comes through as I'm listening to the radio it mutes for approximately 15 seconds and it's annoying. I've unpaired my LG Flex, as well as deleted the devices and re-paired the phone. The issue is the Sync continually asks for access to the messages, is there a way to allow calls but block message access from within the phone? If I recall I was able to do this with previous phones.

Has anyone been able to get Motorola Connect to connect to their computer after updating to Lollipop? Mine doesn't do anything.
I've had to install Mightytext again to text from my computer and I don't want to have to have another app installed when a feature of the phone is supposed to do it. (and Moto Connect is simply better)
I haven't even updated, and my connect just stopped working.
It will occasionally login, but it can take ten minutes to sync texts or calls.
I've received popups about a incoming call, that I received at work, while logging in at home.
Guess they're having problems..
Maybe more of a hardware question than an app question, but it happens with this particular app. I needed a texting app for my stock K1 running LP 5.1.1
I decided upon MightyText as I didn't want another phone number as some of the other apps provide. MightyText syncs my phone and the K1 within seconds. If I get a text to the phone, I get a notification on the tab within a second or two. Same happens if I send a text from the tablet, I get a notification on the phone again within a second or two. I realize that the phone is using it's cellular radio to send the text. Phone is a rooted LG Optimus G Pro running KK.
Here's where it gets strange! If I turn off WiFi and BT on the phone, when I write a text on the tablet and hit send, my phone receives and sends the text. WiFi and BT are still off. I looked to see if the app was somehow turning the radios on, on the phone, but it looks like they are staying off (unless they are coming on for a fraction of a second). I'm trying to figure out how the tablet is communicating with the phone if the radios are turned off. Also, the app has a phone icon. if I hit the phone icon on the tablet app, the phone makes a call to whoever I happened to be texting. I cannot talk through the tablet (I don't think), but the call does go through. I'm unsure what the functionality of this item is...why would I want the tablet to initiate a phone call when I cannot talk through the tablet?
Phone radio you mean phone, internet (3G/4G) here?
Mighty text working through network/internet. I will take simple explanation like this. SMS -> your phone -> SMS send to mighty text service -> mighty text service passes it to your table. Similar your tablet sends the text -> text go to mighty text service -> Mightytext service passes it to your device AND to the receiver on your behalf.
MightyText function like a bridge to connect your phone and other device and running through the internet.
Once your device connects with MightyText service, MightyText will become a behalf assistant to receiving and send your message.
Thats mean your sensitive information will be readable by a 3rd person (or group person who know?)
My nexus 6p has been working perfectly with my 2016 vw for past couple of months. Now, I can no longer send a text message or hangouts message. Still connects perfectly, makes calls and navigates by voice but no longer listens when I want to dictate a message. This seemed to happen overnight as it has always worked perfectly before and I am not aware of having made any changes to my phone or car. How weird. Anyone have any ideas?
I'm having the same issue with my Galaxy S7 Edge running Android Auto on my Pioneer AVH-4100NEX. I went on vacation and my car sat for a while and now when I'm in Android Auto mode I can't receive and send text messages. I ask Google for the weather or to do a calculation and I get nothing. However, if I ask Google to dial someone whether in my contacts for not, it dials the number. Does this make any sense? There doesn't appear to be any official Android Auto support. I contact Pioneer and they told me my contacts weren't syncing with Android Auto which was strange enough when they said it, but given the fact that I don't get a reply when I ask GoogleNow for the weather means my contacts shouldn't have anything to do with it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt
Hi everyone. I am having issues since day one with my Samsung S10. I am a T-mobile user if that matters. My first problem, I currently have a desktop with Windows 10 Pro and the latest build. However, since I got the phone, whenever I connect the phone to the computer via USB, it does not stay connected for more than a min. It will keep on disconnecting and automatically connecting. Many instances it will do it over and over, dozens of times until it finally connects but it wont last for more than 2 mins and start all over. A very frustrating issue because it makes file transfer nearly impossible.
I have so far unistalled all drivers, used 4 different cables to include original and problem still persists.
My second issue is with voice messages. Whenever I received a voice message, instead of going to my visual voice message app, it will show with the green phone icon in my notification, forcing me to call my voice mail. Rarely do new voice messages go to my visual voice mail app, they do, but rare. My wife also has a S10 and she has the same problem with the voice mail.
hopefully someone has some help to provide me.
Thanks in advance.

I will start from the second issue (the voicemail). I see that too and I am with T-Mobile as well. I do have VVM app installed, but see the normal voice mail icon in the notification bar as well as VVM icon. I don't really like double notification, but I am thinking it is possible to disable the phone app's notification for only the voice mail. Haven't tried it though...
As far as phone getting disconnected...I have seen this, but not with my S10e. I have another android device and it did happen to it, couple of times. When device was off, that is when I mainly seen disconnect/reconnect thing.
1) Do you have Samsung Switch app installed on your Win 10 PC? If you do, then try uninstalling it. If you don't have it, install it. Could be driver conflict too
2) Try different USB ports on your PC
3) See if you have USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports(try them all)
4) When you connect your phone to the PC, pull down notification shade on your phone and see if you can choose different USB options, that might help too
Hey all,
I have the LTE version of the watch 3. I have both bluetooth, WiFi & mobile all turn 'on'. When I walk away from my Samsung phone far enough, it disconnects bluetooth and then connects to mobile network.
This is great and all...but then all my past text messages from a conversation that i have already read (on my phone) from friends start popping up on my watch as if the messages were new.
Each message that gets updated causes the watch to 'beep'. So literally the phone is beeping like crazy. One episode i had, it beeped around 50 times as it was updating the watch with "new" messages.
I looked everywhere on help menu, online, etc...to see if there was an option to stop this...but came up empty handed.
Does anyone know how to make this stop?
I DO NOT want to disable bluetooth or mobile connection on my watch as a "work around". That kinda defeats the purpose of why I bought this LTE watch.
Please help!!!
Thanks
Hi @Maxwell_7007 - I'm having this exact issue. Did you ever find a resolution?
