Had my LG L90 d415 rooted until the upgrade happened. Now I can't root D41510e. Does anyone know how to disable the T-Mobile My Account. Called T-Mobile and they could not help. Not using T-Mobile as a cell phone provider.
Thanks for any help

Hi,
I'm totally newbie at this field. I've bought LG G2 Verizon edition which is unlocked. I'm using it now with LycaMobile network operator, it works perfectly.
I want to upgrade my phone to Android 5 version, so I launched LG software Updater which is embedded with the phone. It has detected a new upgrade version, but with the same name (VS98026A).
I want to know if I apply this update whether I'll loose my unlock, and the phone will not word with any other network operator ?
Is it possible to upgrade the system to Android 5 ?
Kind regards.
Hey People,
Thanks in advance for all your replies and help, really appreciate it ..
OK, So I have a Verizon LG G2, which I am using in Pakistan (also I bought it in Pakistan) and I am using it without a Verizon Sim. These sort of phones are common here which are used phones which come from US. They do some unlocking and make this phone accessible to every local sim.
I want to inquire that if I root it and install a custom ROM in it will it still work and use my Pakistan based sim or will it stop working and than it would need a Verizon sim to work
Currently it shows that it is unrooted.

Hi,
If you wanted to know whether you will lose your phone unlock thingy, then nope. Unlocking a phone is permanent.
This has been a long back and forth conundrum that neither Sprint, Cricket or LG seem to be able to help me with. I purchased a used Sprint G4 on ebay and had it domestic sim unlocked over the phone with Sprint. I used it perfectly with a Cricket sim (mms and lte worked perfectly). A few days later I had to send it in to LG repair for the infamous "camera has stopped worrking" error. After getting the phone back (same IMEI), the phone no longer recognizes the Cricket sim card. It recognized a Sprint sim card that LG returned it with but not the original Cricket sim. I've contacted Sprint and they've repeatedly confirmed (after many insistent calls and chat messages) that the phone is unlocked. Cricket tells me everything is fine on their end, and LG tells me to ask Sprint to unlock it or provide an unlock code. Completely at a loss so any input would be extremely appreciated.

Don't know if I have that option. Lg returned the phone upgraded with Marshmallow zva
edit* Going to try to revert back to zv6 and see if it'll work then.
you have to be on zv6 first I'm not to familiar yet with this phone. I unlocked mine and had the invalid sim I had to do the build prob edit and then it took care of invalid sim but u have to be rooted to do the prop edit
** update
-Reverted back to ZV6 and rooted using this : howto-downgrade-to-zv6
-Then followed the sim unlock guide mentioned here: Sim unlock guide
Only getting 3G but calls are working perfectly which is much better than nothing. I'm going to read around the Sim unlock guide to see if I can tweak a couple settings to get MMS and LTE working.

I had to dl a 3rd party mms app i used chomp. And play arou d in radio settings under mobile networks.
Have a Sprint LG G4 on ZVF....not rooted.
I am sim UNLOCKED.....(UICC unlocked) .
As far as I know I can put ATT and T-Mobile sims.......and these automatically work without editing anything.
But I want to use some other sims that require editing the APN manually.
Haved tried shortcut master.....doesn't work.
Anyone else have any clues? Thanks
please somebody help me
Not sure you're going to find it. Att prevents lg from publishing their specific varriant of the rom. You can use the unlocked rom which does support all of the att bands for the v40 though.

Phone was SIM locked by Att. Аll the Att's apps were disabled, so there was no message about the lock. Then phone crossflashed with US open. Now there is simply no message about entering the unlock code.
