JAVA runtime problems

Hey guys...I just flashed the Touch IT rom and I love it to bits but I have a slight problem... The jblend java runtime doesnt work with my messenger (mxit)..Is there any way to get the original Java app back? I installed jbed but cant find it on my phone. And if i select mxit, it opens up the jblend thing n fails...

[Q] Can't install Active Launcher

Hello.
I'm trying to install the Active Xperia Launcher on my x8 (with froyobread v023b) but i'm getting "Application not installed".
Anyone knows what do I need to do?

I don´t have problem.I made full factory of frojoB 23b and Active Launcher worked.I dońt sutisfied with them.Laauncher pro,or Go Launcher seems to bee better.It´s of U

Try putting the apk in system/app/ and change permissions so they look like this:
V V _
V _ _
V _ _
V = ticked
_ = blank
Reboot and see if it worked.

I do´nt mind,thet it will works.The apk. works coret on 2.3 Roms.Only Gingebred 23b it will work.My english is no good,but maby somone will understand.

I do´nt know,why you need another launcher.I tried Xperia activ,but nothing.It is easy launcher,whitout setings.Nothing emazing and special.Ther you don´nt have special menu setings.You can use only easy witgets,they are limited with the corner.All the launcher are maby better.

You can only have one SE launcher, at a time, on your phone. So if you, for example, have arc launcher installed you'll need to deinstall it before you can install active launcher.

same problem anyone knows how to install it? please help

Did you check install downloaded apps in settings before trying to install the app??

You need to push the apk in system/app with root explorer and them install

I tried installing it on gingerdx as well, i followed all the steps, but no cigar.
I use the claystone launcher now and its very nice, dont really feel like changing anymore

Can´t use any Xperia app pack

I´ve been trying to install some Xperia app packs like this one... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2059203 . I´ve changed the update-binary on every zip to flash. Always the apps stop inmediatly when I open them. Anyone can tell me what can I do? I´ve used AIO pack that installs flash player and do more stuff.

Have you try to pull all the libs and apks manually on thr corresponded folders??

Did anyone try to use Xperia's clock (with alarm, timer, world clock and others in one)?
I've tried to extract one from Xperia Z firmware and to start it on my Moto like usual app. But it haven't even installed. Any suggestions? May be i need to find & install some odex-files?

Maybe all apps can't work with Intel arquitecture. Some normal apps doesn't work...

I've sent a tweet todo Rizal lovins (he posted a port of Walkman) and he told me that it depends of some Sony libs and also framework. I supose that libs are not x86 friendly

[Q] Are there any Z3 exclusive apps that work on the Z1 yet?

Hey folks!
The Sony Xperia Z3 has just been announced and there's already a system dump including applications and whatnot!

Now my question is, do any of the applications somehow work on the Z1, and if so which ones are actual updates to the apps the Z1 currently has? I'd love to get the new Home Launcher thing from Sony with the larger icons, but extracting and installing as .apk file from the system dump source won't let me install anything I've tried. Now I do have root so I might be able to flash the files, but I do not want to mess up my phone and I barely have enough storage to make a new backup.
So I'd love to know if anyone has already tried installing something.

Windows Mobile Development & Image Processing

Hi everybody
I'm developing a Windows Mobile 6 app (with .Net Compact Framework and Professional SDK).
Now I'm having some trouble trying to compile OpenCV (v. 2.0.0) to apply some effects at images inside my app.
Has anyone had any experience with image processing with WM6?
I'm searching another library because I've lost all my hopes with it!
