That is supposed to be the case. If not, would probably return it. I am going to request an unlock code from TMo soon after I get it.
So I'm ready to pull the trigger on a unlocked T Mobile Variant. I have ATT service. Are there any disadvantages?

What are you trying to do? Because what happens when you go a non LTE area?
I work in an area where lte is a little weak, so the phone often tries to switch over to 3g. I want to take that option away for the phone just while I'm at work.

Thats not it. Lg has numerous secret menus that do different specific things. You need to find a main menu or a network menu

Sorry i dont know of any other ones. Try google. One more route you can explore is that there used to be an app in the play store that gave you a bunch of codes. Just search for hidden menu. Hope that can help you out.

I read that T-Mobile will be pushing an update to some of it's devices that will add support for their 700 spectrum, so my question is, is there a way to add a band to my phone? Specifically the 1700 one. Let me know if any possible way. Thanks.
