Hello, just got this phone and updated to lollipop, is there any way to block private numbers, on KitKit I could just add to auto-reject list, can't seem to find similar option on lollipop.

[Q] HTC One - Is the Guest User feature missing from Sprint's version of Lollipop?

I finally got around to installing the Lollipop OTA update yesterday and I've been going through some articles looking for new features. One awesome-looking feature is the guest user feature. The only problem is that I can't seem to find a menu item for this in the settings, nor is there the user icon next to the settings icon in the notification tray. Am I missing something or is this not a feature that is included in the Sprint version?
Perhaps a more relevant question would be, for those of you that have lollipop installed on your Sprint HTC One, do you have access to the guest users feature?
A simple yes by at least one person would let me know that it is a problem with my phone and not an oversight by Sprint.
Thanks!
I just talked to Sprint customer service and I was assured that the user account feature is supposed to be in this release. I was told to go to Settings -> Device -> Users. Unfortunately, there is no Device menu in Settings on my phone. Can some of you respond if you are seeing the same issue? Sprint is opening a ticket but I'd like to tell them that this isn't just affecting me, if that is the case.
I'll keep everyone updated.
Same deal here. I just installed the update and I can't find the multi-users feature anywhere. I have the M8 HK Edition
HTC does not include multiuser on any sense Rom. It's is included on the GE edition and u can use it in any lollipop Aosp and some KK Aosp toms.

[Q] Pause and Wait option unusable for the contacts

I often call conference call lines where you have to enter an access number to get in. To add a wait to a number I simply ad a ";" (semicolon) where I want the wait to be. A number could look like this: 1-866-345-2350;23456678#. A window pops up at the wait and asks me if I want to send the following numbers, the ones after the ":". Normally when I hit "Ok" the numbers are sent. Not so on this Kitkat z3 compact. Nothing happens when I hit "call" so I am not getting into the conference. I am able to enter the numbers manually, but since I do this a lot it's really cumbersome having to do it.
When i contacted sony support this was their reply "As I was able to verify, this function was confirmed and doesn't seem to be available on our new devices. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you. However, I'll make sure to note your feedback regarding this matter so that perhaps it's added again in a future update."
Let me know if any one here use this Pause( or Wait(,) feature while call and found any alternate method to use the same on Z3c. If there is no alternatives it would be a deal breaker and i have to return the phone for some other with this feature working android device.
Have you tried using a comma instead? That's what I use.

Click to collapse
I have tried comma and semi colon and did not work. Which version of android is currently on your Z3c and please provide detailed steps on how its working for you. Provided a example nos with comma would help.
Thanks

Any known ways to block system upgrade/update notifications on LG urbane ?

Hi guys, my first post here, first thanks for your attention!
As you know the watch recently receives upgrade notification and will be upgraded to Marshmallow (api level 23) if you accept the notification.
The thing is, I got some code running on several watches which require api level 22 and would not work under api level 23, so I decided to flash all the watches back to Lollipop.
Here comes the problem, how do I block any further notification which ask user to do system upgrade? I need to make sure 100% that the system environment does not change.
Any help is highly appreciated !
Btw the devices have been rooted, and there are bunch of ways to block OTA update on the phone if you search, but seems no one has posted any information about blocking OTA on watch.

[N920G] no call blocking wildcard on 6.0.1 (Marshmellow)?

After i updated to Android 6.0.1 (Marshmellow) it seems that samsung screwed up the call blocking feature of the phone.apk.
Before the update it was possible to block numbers by "wildcard" (end with, start with, include).
After the update its only possible to block specific whole numbers, no more partial match.
Seriously, *** is sammy doing by removing features? There's anyone here that stated this too?
Same issue on my Samsung s5 running a ported s7 rom

Whatsapp group notifications (new?) style

Hi all,
recently bought an xz2 and can't stand how Whatsapp notifies group messages:
it shows the icon of user's profile instead of the group's, and user's name is bold;
the name of the group itself is found much smaller at the top of the notification.
I fear that's something related to newer versions of Android like Pie or even Oreo,
apologize if it's been this way all along, I've been using a stock z3c for years.
Googling or exploring system/whatsapp settings was unsuccessful for me,
I hoped you guys could give me some info about this.
I'll try posting a screenshot to clarify as soon as possible.
Thanks for the patience
Edit: baobab is group name and blacked stuff is user related
