Google Apps installation
After booting your phone for the first time, download the gapps package and push it to /sdcard using adb (or MTP):
adb push gapps_50_yuga_004-00cb.tgz /sdcard/
adb reboot
Your phone will now reboot and automatically install gapps during the boot process. (note that your phone will reboot twice - this is normal).
recommend to keep the gapps package in /sdcard/ after the installation finished: Upgrading to a new release will erase your existing gapps installation - but if the package is still present in /sdcard/, it will be automatically installed during the first boot.

I've been checking XDA like 10 times a day for the past two weeks hoping for this, and now it's finally here!!! You sir, deserve a medal.
I have a question, and I'm not sure if it's supposed to go here or the Q&A thread, since it's not specifically related to this ROM, per se. I just want to know how you built this; where did you get the device tree/binaries (not really sure what I'm talking about here, I've only read the building tutorials, don't really understand them fully)? AFAIK, Sony hasn't released them for the ZR, so how'd you do it? Is there some way to port them from other devices or something? Even a reference point to start searching would be great.

I have no time to develop, rom not work on all ZR-s - need additional kernel developing?(on many ZR models this rom work(on 2 phones work normal now), on other not (on my zr not work properly - mixed image on screen))

Everything working fine. Just like stable daily driver rom. Can't say about battery right now.
The only thing missing is root because SuperSU 2.23 dosen't seem to work. I think some kernel modifications will be needed for proper execution of SU binary

RIL works ????? ( Are you able to make calls and receive calls and send messages etc ?)
If you are using this as daily driver then try testing bluetooth, wifi, RIL, mobile internet (2g+3g), camera etc......
I would definitely do all this on weekend....
@Xenius :- HATS OFF MAN.......... Even if it just boots, I would say that it's sheer genius..........

Bluetooth is fine except I cannot accept or share file with apk extension
WiFi also seems to be fine till now and yes I can make calls, messages, and can connect to data network.
Camera quality is accepteble (photo preview is kind of buggy )
Till now what I cannot test its GPS as I don't use it. but can provide logcat if anyone wants
Edit: At latest lollipop release for xperia Z (18 November), RIL is broken, atleast in ZR with this kernel, don't know about Z
maybe kernel update will fix this

I am having trouble downloading from playstore after flashing gapps.. As there isn't a file manager preinstalled, I'm trying to download one, so that i can get back my old apps which are backed up in the SD card. Anyone else has the same issue abt the play store?
P.S I found out the problem. My Gmail wasn't synced so my account wasn't fully functional. Never mind

I Use adb for apps installation and total commander+adb plugin for any dev deals

Not so familiar with the adb codes, i've never felt the need to use them. Is the kernel fully permissive? I'd like to know if i can run Viper4android on it.

Requirements
1. Phone Rooted and Mobile Uncle Tools (Flash through Phone)
2. Sp Flash Tool(Fflash it from PC)
Downloads
NEW: Carliv Touch Recovery v2.7 (port using stock recovery) Original Thread by @carliv

Instructions (Flash using phone)
1. Download the recovery to your internal sd-card and rename it to "recovery.img"
2. Open Mobile uncle tools and select Recovery Update
3. Flash recovery file
4. Done
Instructions (Flash through SP Flash Tools)
1. Install drivers for your phone and download SP Flash Tools and drivers.
2. Click on Scatter-Loading and the program will ask you the location of the scatter loading file for your device (you can drag from your stock rom folder)
3.Check only recovery.img, preloader and uncheck all others.
4. Switch off your phone (Wait 1 min).
5. In Flash Tool, go to Options and Click USB Mode so that it is enabled. Click options again and then go to DA Download All > Speed and finally select High Speed.
6. Click the Download option (present on the right of Firmware > Upgrade option) and SP Flash Tools will start looking for your phone.
7. Connect your phone. SP Flash Tool will start the flashing process, the progress of which can be viewed from a yellow progress bar at the bottom of the flash tool.
8. After the process completes, a green ring will appear on your device signalling that the process was successful.
9.Disconnect and turn on your phone.

so here you have already compiled by me

recalls that the result recovery can not pass 6 Mb

@adrpat Now i see were you get the information to port default.prop... I used CTRv2.4 to port automatically carliv_recovery_v2.4 and then i get that info (from default.prop) and port manually carliv_recovery_2.7

@WinKarbik, you forgot to add reboot recovery option in instructions after flashing kernel. Add it so that other users don't have problems. And thanks for all your effort for CORI, CORI has got a new life because of you.

Wifi work,speaker,headphones and camera work(he connect fine to camera,but system app don't work)and if you install diego 9393 build also 120 work( http://www.mediafire.com/download/alii7dzx4hw7odd/cm-11-20150126-UNOFFICIAL-cori-diego9393.zip ) I don't know if data work,but if more hardware component work fine,i guess also data should work.

I downloaded Play Store App from MIUI store (don't understand Chinese but with a bit of patience it's not that difficult....). ROM is working great, I have only a slight problem that sometimes it freezes and powers off, while showing a spinning circle mid screen. It's not that frequent, though, so I could live with that ATM.....

INSTRUCTIONS
Please read it carefully
Download The ROM Zip and Fix_DPI for ZR.zip (link attacted below) And Move To Phone
Enter Recovery
Flash ROM Zip
Carefully Follow Aroma Installation
Do Not Select Dolby Digital Mod ( Bootloop )
After Complete, reboot phone into rom (please wait for 15 minutes) Done!
Reboot to recovery and flash Fix_DPI for ZR zip to fix DPI and correct phone info
Reboot and done!

Editor system/build.prop and edit line
ro.sf.lcd_density=480
To

reboot to recovery and flash zip
reboot phone

I didn't come across Dolby Digital Mod but my phone went into bootloop.I am forced to install stock.Please guide me accordingly.

I'm not sure what you experienced but this ROM takes a long time to boot from flash.. Up to 10 mins so patience and a cup of coffee is needed

goto recovery and wipe system and data, cache and dalvik cache before flash rom
in aroma installer rom select C6603 device

hey i did the same ..first i wiped system and data , cache , dalvik cache ........and then flashed the rom (i selected c6603 device in aroma installer) followed by fix dpi .zip ...then i rebooted my phone but its stuck on boot animation . i waited for approx 30 mins( obvious, more then it, i think) but the phone not booted fully. after that removed battery and tried 3 times the results are same .....
what i am doing wrong in installing the .zip??

Try flash rom and dont select install sound mode, xposed.
After flash rom done, reboot into rom.
After that goto recovery and flash fix dpi zip

its same with me.. i wait for 1 hour haha. its cnt run ahead ..stuk at balck screen
