with s-on you can only flash signed firmware same or higher version. Firmware must match your CID/MID and same base number.

follow these instructions:
what you need to do is flash TWRP 2.8.5.0 from here: http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/m7/openrecovery-twrp-2.8.5.0-m7.img
Code:
fastboot flash recovery (name of recovery).img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
enter recovery and create a simple backup, just something like the boot, then plug your phone into the computer, whilst its still in recovery mode, that recovery supports MTP so your internal storage should open up on your computer, if it doesnt, you have a driver problem, but if it does, then navigate to TWRP/Backup/Phone serial number/todays date and some other details, delete the backup files out of there and place the files inside this zip in there instead, files only not folders: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23622183712472331
unplug your phone and restore that backup.
once restored, restart your phone and just do a basic setup.
then put this file on your internal storage and boot back to recovery and flash this: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23681161096070800
restart your phone after flashed.
then boot back to the bootloader and flash this stock recovery: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23622183712461268
again:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery (name of recovery).img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
when you restart your phone you should now be able to update.
OTA's require you to be 100% stock, including all bloatware, no root, nothing custom.

First, remove your IMEI and SERIALNO from your first post, these are private data you don't want to share.
4.4+ roms require at least TWRP recovery 2.6.3.3 to be flashed properly. Flash the correct version of twrp, clear cache and flash the rom again. Don't forget to use M7_UL compatible recovery file and roms.
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
Download it from this link
its better to do three wipes before flashing any rom to avoid any issues
also wipe cache/dalvik after flashing
Yeah right
million thanks is not enough yaaaaaa problem solved after flashing this recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.0-m7.img and then flashing rom that i put inside the internal memory thanks again for replay
Hi
I unlocked my phone - HTC One (m7) using the HTCDev.com/bootloader.
Fastboot says its ***UNLOCKED***
Ive been trying to "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" - Ive tried TWRP and Clockwork, both just sit at: "sending 'recovery' (xxxx KB)... ".
"fastboot erase cache
erasing 'cache'... OKAY" and "fastboot reboot-bootloader" all work fine so I know its connecting and working.
below is Getvar all data.
Can anyone suggest why this might be happening?
I'm using Ubuntu atm
cheers

In your first post delete the imei and serialno from the getvar!
Do you have USB Debugging enabled in Settings -> Developer options?
Is Fast boot unchecked in Settings -> Power?
Is your TWRP renamed to recovery and is it in the same directory that Ubuntu is currently focused?

That came up after to flashed your recovery. There is a way to remove the tampered flag, but I'm not sure about the unlocked flag.
Here's what I used to remove tampered:

You need to be s off to remove tampered. It's not really a problem unless u need to return your phone for warranty

Hello, download this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B17smFr95pleSFhvZHd2a0RkTFE/view?pli=1.
Then, relock your bootloader (fastboot oem lock).
For the further instructions take a look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/general/lollipop-ruu-zip-small-collection-t3053944
Then, your phone will be back to normal. I had the same problem as you with the black screen, but it is fixed now.

Your S-ON so you need to flash an 7.18.161.x ruu. The problem is your version-main is 7.18.161.30. In the ruu colletion there is only a 7.18.161.21.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/general/lollipop-ruu-zip-small-collection-t3053944
You will need to change the version-main to flash a lower version ruu. Scroll to the very bottom of the ruu collection link above and read the section about "How to downgrade with S-ON"

I fixed it in the end. I got annoyed trying to use a ruu so I used a Google play edition ROM. I prefer the GPE room.
