Hi
I unlocked my phone - HTC One (m7) using the HTCDev.com/bootloader.
Fastboot says its ***UNLOCKED***
Ive been trying to "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" - Ive tried TWRP and Clockwork, both just sit at: "sending 'recovery' (xxxx KB)... ".
"fastboot erase cache
erasing 'cache'... OKAY" and "fastboot reboot-bootloader" all work fine so I know its connecting and working.
below is Getvar all data.
Can anyone suggest why this might be happening?
I'm using Ubuntu atm
cheers

In your first post delete the imei and serialno from the getvar!
Do you have USB Debugging enabled in Settings -> Developer options?
Is Fast boot unchecked in Settings -> Power?
Is your TWRP renamed to recovery and is it in the same directory that Ubuntu is currently focused?

That came up after to flashed your recovery. There is a way to remove the tampered flag, but I'm not sure about the unlocked flag.
Here's what I used to remove tampered:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2477792
You need to be s off to remove tampered. It's not really a problem unless u need to return your phone for warranty

Okay guys,
Here is a bit of back ground information. I bought this phone from Europe as I wanted the black edition of the HTC One. My CID is VODAP102.
However, I have used it with numerous international sim cards. (I live in Canada).
About two months ago I, rooted the device (without making a backup, since I was new) and installed Insertcoin. However soon, afterwards my microphone started to give me problems, so I went through the process to unroot the device, so that I may receive the patch from htc to fix the issue or to even have it sent in (Either way I cannot get through to the Germany Office).
So I have a locked bootloader, with S-On. I have ran many RUU.exe to no avail, as well as using fastboot on mac and pc. Whener I try to fast boot i get:
>>>sending 'zip' (21795 KB)... OKAY
>>>writing 'zip'... INFOsignature checking...
>>>FAILED (remote: 12 signature verify fail)
I really need help with this!

For your RUU to work, the modelid and cid need to match...
Can you give us the results of
Code:
fastboot getvar all
You should aim for S-OFF, once you've got that it's gonna be way easier.

According to what I have been seeing, S-Off can only be done if the bootloader is unlocked. My bootloader has been relocked.
Any luck ? Mine is same as yours

change your cid to BS_US001:
Code:

confirm your cid is now BS_US001:

Enter ruu mode and flash the 6.07.1540.2 firmware:

with s-on you can only flash signed firmware same or higher version. Firmware must match your CID/MID and same base number.

follow these instructions:
what you need to do is flash TWRP 2.8.5.0 from here: http://techerrata.com/file/twrp2/m7/openrecovery-twrp-2.8.5.0-m7.img
Code:
fastboot flash recovery (name of recovery).img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
enter recovery and create a simple backup, just something like the boot, then plug your phone into the computer, whilst its still in recovery mode, that recovery supports MTP so your internal storage should open up on your computer, if it doesnt, you have a driver problem, but if it does, then navigate to TWRP/Backup/Phone serial number/todays date and some other details, delete the backup files out of there and place the files inside this zip in there instead, files only not folders: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23622183712472331
unplug your phone and restore that backup.
once restored, restart your phone and just do a basic setup.
then put this file on your internal storage and boot back to recovery and flash this: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23681161096070800
restart your phone after flashed.
then boot back to the bootloader and flash this stock recovery: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23622183712461268
again:
Code:
fastboot flash recovery (name of recovery).img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
when you restart your phone you should now be able to update.
OTA's require you to be 100% stock, including all bloatware, no root, nothing custom.
Guys I need your help
My phone wont start-up because its stuck in a boot-loop.
I can go into bootloader just fine but cant seem to be able to access recovery though I have flashed the correct custom recovery for this phone. When trying to enter recovery mode it hangs first and after a minute or so it restarts itself. also it has a red message at the bottom "This build is for development purposes only... ***"
The phone came with jellybean 4.2.2 and i wanted to upgrade to lollipop because the phone had been infected with a malware

Error 155= You're trying to flash a RUU with an unlocked bootloader. If your phone is S-ON, like yours, you must have a locked or re-locked bootloader to flash a RUU. You can relock the BL using "fastboot oem lock" command.
Make sure you have the right RUU version for your phone before. RUU version must be same or newer than you firmware version. Your phone CID and MID must be compatible for the RUU version you want to use. If you're unsure, post the output of "fastboot getvar all" (hide your imei and serialno before posting).
