hello, I have a problem with my phone, started about a week ago.
I'm not sure if it's a hardware or software problem.
the phone was charging (with official HTC wall charger) with the screen off, when suddenly lights up the screen and start the application "CAR". When full load, I disconnected the charger and used it normally. few hours after a notice appeared that could not load the phone. also several times when the screen is off, the display turns on by itself without touching anything.
also sometimes when I wanted to charge the phone, the red LED is not lit and the system marked as that is charging, but if you restarted the phone, it worked.
sometimes appears Charger notice being disconnected from the charger.
I tried cleaning the micro usb input with a brush, but no change.
Another odd thing I noticed, on the main screen if I turn the phone 180 degrees, the screen turns on, even if I turn off the rotating screen.
it's like this on a dock mode or something.
Yesterday I did a full wipe and it was not any of this, but after loading it returned to it.
Someone happened something similar? which may be the problem?
I have HTC one developer edition, using the ARHD ROM 12.2 with the latest firmware.
Sorry for my English, google translator helped me: P
THANKS
Hi, i have an Atrix HD and its LCD got broken when it fell from 3 ft high.
The Glass is ok and the phone kept working for a while with a black triangle on top, the touchscreen kept working with no problems.
After a second fall from the bed the LCD went completely black, but the phone kept working (using a HDMI cable to check messages and touchscreen vibrating feedback kept working so i could answer calls).
I let the phone battery die and now it wont turn back on, the charging light turns on, when i plug it on a USB port on Windows i get a connected beep followed by a disconnection beep, as if the phone were detecting the LCD not working and turning itself off.
Is there a way to bypass that? i need to connect the phone to get the files from the internal storage.
I ordered a new LCD but will take a long time to arrive (normally 2-3 months, sometimes longer since a live in Brazil).

Yes, also tried turning it on with the charger on and hdmi on as well.
Ok, i tried using mythtools but it acts as if the phone is not connected, same as above, windows reacts as if i was connecting and disconnecting a flash drive so the phone has some response.
anybody has any idea on what i could do?
Ok, the screen arrived, i installed it, but seems to have the same problem
Can someone please help me out here, when i connect it to the charger, the green light comes on, and then off, is my phone dead?

just leave it alone, maybe battery is 0% charged and it will take few mins for it to be able to turn it on

Always use what the phone brings on box as accessories. This case will be Moto original charger
Also by now you should be able to turn your device on. Just remove charger and re-plug again and try to turn your phone on

AHD and RHD batteries will work with the AHD. Remember, we do have the EB40 battery (RHD battery) mod that works with our device, and ours shipped with the EB20 (AHD battery).

Wow, i forgot the phone was there charging, after a week the alarm sounded, now it's turning on again, BUT the LCD is not, i tried disconnecting and connecting the lcd cable but did not solve it.
Another thing, after more than a week charging, only 17% charge, weird.
Maybe the LCD is not working? or the problem may be on the board.
I have this same issue. Except for the broken screen. My phone just stopped coming on. I did all the key combinations. Even opened it and removed the battery. Tested the voltage in the battery itself and it was fully charged. I tech on the Moto site told me it sounds to him like a LCD issue. I replaced the LCD and still nothing.
I plug my phone to the wall and get a green light for about 7 seconds or so. Then its off. A short time later,(couple min) it comes on again for a few seconds then off again. I plugged it to my PC and get the green light for the same seconds. The PC makes the chime that it would normally do when something is plugged into the USB. No changes done on the PC though. Doesn't try loading drivers or anything. After a few seconds, it chimes again and the green light goes out. Repeats about every 2 min.
Anyone found the issue?
Recently whenever I put my 2013 Moto X (XT1052) on charge using wall power. My phone turns on and shows the battery with the % charged and after a few seconds it restarts to the same screen. I am using the Motorola USB cable and wall plug that was provided, and it hasn't happened before.
Does anyone know how to stop my phone from restarting, or why it is doing it?
Hi guys, this morning I run into a problem. I noticed that my phone was turned off and when I tried to start it again the Sony Logo followed by the Android animation shows but then the screen turns black (I think the phone turns off).
When I connect a charger, the LED turns red for 1 second then goes black. And when the charging animation screen shows up, it does not animate, is frozen for a couple of seconds and then the screen goes black again. Worth noting is that the battery icon showing on the charging screen is green so perhaps there are some battery left.
I’ve flashed several different Android versions but the behavior is still the same.
So do anyone have any idea what I can try to do next? I would be very happy for any advises!
Thanks in advance,
Andreas

I think that your phone battery is drained fully and charging up. First try charing it with different and ordinary charger (not quick charger or fast charger) to charge it. Check that whether is charing or not. If charging charge it fully and flash stock rom with wiping caches & data. If it is not charging then take it to the authorised service centre.
So one morning I woke up and saw phone keeps rebooting(bootloop).I had breakfast then came back to pick it up,and i connected it to charger and phone was totaly dead.I tryed other cables but still same result.Only way to power it on is when I use original cable and connect it to charger/pc.Then red led turns on and display showing low battery, and led keeps blinking.Sometimes it can boot into system and works for few minutes and shuts off cuz 0%.I changed battery but everything is same,I also can go into TWRP.
**I TRIED EDL MODE/two pins or whatever and my PC is not showing Qualcom driver or anything else in relation with phone
i had same issue before, i simply just buy new cable and it working again!!
PS. Before i buy new cable i already had 3 type-c cable bot non of them working
I had the same issue an hour ago. My MI5 had ~25% charge left when I saw it shutting off, maybe I unknowingly did it. Then I decided to leave the phone in TWRP at night but in the morning it appeared to be dead. The red LED blinked only when I pressed the buttons, no turning on, fastboot or booting into TWRP was possible. When I plugged it into the charger an empty battery icon appeared with the red LED blinking continuously. After some time a new animated battery icon appeared, in the still turned off state, but this time showing the exact charge percentage (2%). It went to 3% and I turned it on with the power button.
Should be a faulty battery which needs to be replaced!
