[Q] Upgrade to 2.2.1 in Kies with reghack?

Hi guys.
Could someone plz give me some advice on how to update to 2.2.1 ? I went from 2.1 to 2.2 using registry hack but forgot the details I put in. Now my galaxy wants to update but I think that's just to another 2.2.

We need the information from following files:
system\CSCVersion.txt: ?
system\csc\customer.xml only one line: <SalesCode>?</SalesCode>
and from Settings > About device:
Baseband version? (If it is a P7300)
Build number?

We need the info from the files also, otherwise I can't help you.

Hi. If you're on DX then I guess you're in asian region, right?
XX is for european region. It will probably work but may not be optimized for asian standards. Not totally sure what differences there is.

I have seen a korean note in which model shows N7000 but when I dial code *#1234# it shows
PDA:shv-e160l
PHONE:e160l
Must be brush rom but cannot find such rom after hours searching on google

Than can be done by editing the build.prop. I can name it SM9005.. but nothing changes really.

can you teach to edit build.prop? Will this show N7000 in setting/About?

[Q] Weak signal after brick, please help!

I had my phone bricked and now it's revived but the signal is often completely gone (in buildings)
What I tried:
Flashing baseband
Flashing modemefs
Restoring stock (old and new stock)
Restoring CSC settings
I also read and tried things out of almost every thread from search
Please help!!

What's your current baseband version or firmware version? I have XXAMG4 since i got my s3 mini and i never got any signal problems. Here is the direct link for XXAMG4 original for Germany : http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=18114maybe this will solve your problem.

I have this baseband currently too, and I had tested this PDA CSC MODEM combo and the firmware too. It didn't work. Thanks again.

Hmm how i see, you tried many things for solve the problem. I think it's maybe a hardware problem and not a software problem.
It's still not solved yet, please help if anyone can!
