[Q] made for usa or europe - X 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just got a moto x 2014 for present.... is there any way to see if my moto was made to be sold in Europe, USA or Asia?
For example, my previous smartphone (note 2) was made for india. I simply used kies to update and the update version that kies used for my note 2 had a specific code, this code existed only for india devices....
Is there any way to check my moto x 2014?

Only Samsung phones are region locked, you can use a Motorola phone on any carrier that offers the right bands.

In Settings, About Phone you will find "System version". Please tell us what the System Version says.
In my case it says "22.21.19.victara_reteu_reteuall.en.EU.reteu"
EU in this case means its the European version.

[Q] which is sold on amazon - 1053 or 1058?

Sorry if it was answered before, but I could not find it.
I'm trying to figure which model is sold on Amazon as Motorola Moto X - 16GB, Unlocked Phone - US Warranty - Black
here (cannot post link - the id is B00E92AV2W)
Ships from and sold by Amazon.com - so I assume it is not resold by some merchant.
The questions I have:
1) Is it 1053, 1058, or some other model? A tried asking on Amazon with no luck.
2) How it will receive Android updates? As it's not tied to a carrier, will it be directly from Motorola?
3) Is it the same design as black/plain black back/silver accents from motomaker?
4) Is there any logo on the back? Apart from moto's
5) Does it have unlocked (unlockable) bootloader?
Thanks everyone who could help!
If it's listed as GSM unlocked, it's probably the XT1053. The XT1058 is the AT&T branded version.
No logo and no carrier bloat on the 1053. It will probably come with a T-Mobile SIM.

Motorola Moto X 2014 (XT1096) in Central Europe - will be ok?

I want to buy a Moto X 2014 (32GB). But I live in Poland and this phone isn't available in my country. I'm thinking about buying XT1096 Verizon, but I have a few questions:
1. I read that this version haven't block card SIM. It's a true? Can I use my own card SIM (from Poland)?
2. I want to buy phone from this seller . If I choose teak wood or black wood, I will have this ulgy inscription "Verizon" or not? Yes, I know, this is a question for seller, but eBay is a black magic for me and I don't know how do this...
3. Third matter - bootloader. I read in this page - - I will be able to unlock bootloader. Also I read about problems with VoLTE. Phone from link is a VoLTE, or normal version? There will be problems?
4. ROM. I want to have Android 6. But I'm looking AOSP or another pure ROM, because I want to install Xposed. What will be the best?
And what I should know about this version in my situation?
I use it in Europe either and everything works fine.
You can unlock the bootloader and then flash the stock 6.0 of xt1095 (the pure edition), it is very good rom and I used it for half a year.
Just recently I flashed nexus experience which feels much better for me.
You can have xposed on both.
About the ugly 'verizon' inscription , yes you will have it no matter what. This is xt1096, Verizon's version.
Remember that custom ROMs don't support Moto apps such as Display and Voice, which are among this phone's main selling points and do not have any real alternatives
@OrenGazala and @Flipz77, Yours answers are very helpful. Big thanks! I forgot paste link to eBay seller: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Verizon-Unl...hash=item3602a50d3a:m:m5feJrL_YfuqhdKODPEUR0g.
On the picture phone don't have this ugly inscription so I ask. And is this phone 'normal' or VoLTE?
Have you looked at the XT1095 Pure Edition? They are factory unlocked and do not have any carrier branding such as Verizon. I bought mine used on Swappa for a lot less than that link on eBay.
I'm looking at buying another one for a friend of mine who lives in the UK and I'm trying to make sure that the LTE bands will be compatible with his network. It seems that Europe mostly uses 800, 1800 and 2600. The XT1096 has 1800 and 2600 while the XT1095 has only 1800, however my friends network (Three) uses only 1800 and 800 so the lack of 2600 isn't an issue for him, however the lack of 800 could be. But I'm not sure and I don't know how to find out.
Might want to look into what bands your local operator uses in Poland.

unlock g800m, country and model identification

Hello,
I recently received a G800M unit that was on the "Claro" network, and I am having trouble unlocking. Several days ago, I used unlockunit.com to try and get an unlock code, though I have not yet received one. I provided them with the country identification of Puerto Rico, but I am now wondering if this was a mistake. When I looked up Claro, I guess I did not look hard enough, and thought they were based in Puerto Rico, only to discover later on that Claro is offered in many South American countries.
I have a couple of questions before I try again:
Is there a positive way to identify specifically which country this phone came from? I looked up the origin country through the IMEI, but that only tells you where it was manufactured, not where the unit was purchased by the first user.
Many of these unlocking sites (that don't list specific model numbers, ie, SM-G800F/M/Y, etc) list a "Galaxy S5 Mini" and a "Galaxy S5 Mini (QC)" ... what does the "QC" mean, and how do I know if I have one? I don't see anything about this in the settings...
This phone is still running factory (claro branded) kitkat if that makes any difference.
I am hoping you can answer my questions, and thank you for your time.
phone unlocked.

How to determine if the watch is locked?

I bought the watch on eBay, the US version (I live in EU, Czech republic). I expected that I won't be able to use LTE but I expected that calling will be available. But the watch says me "unrecognized netword" - the message is in czach so I hope in english is it similar). The same SIM works well in my phone and had worked in LG Watch Urbane 2nd before.
Is it because of different frequencies or because it the watch is locked to an US carrier? How can I detect it? Is possible to do something with that?
Thaks.
I initially bought the US version W280.
They are not locked, and it worked fine when I was in the US on holiday with a UK SIM card.
It would not work in the UK/Europe however as the watch is locked to the US frequencies.
I sold it, and bought the W281 version instead, which is compatible to the European frequencies.
So you are stuck, buy the W281 and sell on your W280.
Having LTE is certainly handy to have for sure, I love it.
