I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 mini GT-I8190N (Android: 4.1.2; baseband: I8190NZCLL5; Kernel: 3.0.31-698136), and would like to flash TWRP and then gain root.
Which version of TWRP should I flash? Which is better? Is it safer to use an older version first, and then update the recovery with a newer version later in TWRP? Or should I just flash the most recent version TWRP?
Same question for the SuperSU version: does the version matter?
Thanks in advance!

Hey guys...i have mi3w indian version and to flash latest builds of cyanogenmod roms running on marshmallow it says that i have to upgrade my baseband version to MPPS D 4.0 something and i am currently on miui 7.1....i have latest baseband version file but it is not flashing through twrp it says that meta.inf not found and when i tried to flash the file using updater app in miui 7.1 then my phone just shuts down and doesn't switch on then i have to fastboot reset my phone using miflash tool.....can anyone help.
If you want to update your baseband, just fastboot flash the MIUI MM Dev version (The easy, one step way) or follow these steps: https://jrizzoli.github.io/dotfiles/. From there, you could easily flash TWRP and CM as you wish.
A year back I installed XZDualRecovery with a Lollipop ROM from xda. Now I want to update to resurrection remix for marshmallow. I wanted to know what is the path to follow?
Flash twrp 3.0+ (can I directly flash it on my current phone using twrp 2.8 on XZDualRecovery?).
and then the kernel?

You can flash RR rom using twrp 2.8 and if you want to update twrp then flash the twrp 3.0.2 zip after flashing the rom.You don't need to flash any other custom kernel on RR.It's stable.

Hello guys,
i think it is time to upgrade my samsung s10. On this time i am on older ASG8 Firmware with Magisk and TWRP. Now my question, can i update directly to firmware BTA8 (Android 10)?
I download Firmware, i Download the right TWRP from Ian, patched the TWRP and Patched Firmware and Flash all with Odin?
Does anyone have the TWRP recovery compatible with firmware version SMR7?
I lost the TWRP recovery after updating to the latest version, trying to root the phone again.
