I have flashed the m8 to pageplus and got talk and text working. I am a very experienced flasher and have 2 stores that pageplus is #1 in, so im very familiar with the flashing process. My problem is the internet, I have written the ha keys and aaa keys and they stick and I wrote them on offline A mode. The phone has the 3g symbol but the internet does not work with the sprint simcard in and without the simcard in too. Also I have a edited esn because after January 15 2015 pageplus stopped allowing non Verizon esns.
programs that Im using
CDMA WORKSHOP 3.8.7
donor is a u365
phone details:

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi everyone,
I have a desire C which was originally on the 3 mobile network, I unlocked it successfully to work with other sim cards and was using it on Orange for a few months.
I have also rooted the phone following the original nameless thread & installed the nameless ROM onto it. This works fine with the ORIGINAL 3 mobile sim card but not with any other sim card. AlI get is no service showing. I cannot make or receive calls, however data works fine (with or without wifi).
I have tried the following:
turning airplane mode on and off, also usin the *#*#4636#*#* (or whatever it is!) thing to get to the test menu and turn off radio and back on again.
Wiping to factory reset
Re-installing the rom from the phones recovery "install zip from SDcard" menu, - also installed the revolution 5en5e rom
IMEI Shows the original IMEI from the phone
If I go to my available networks list it shows me the EE (orange) network, o2 Network, Vodafone network & 3 Mobile network, but no matter which one I select it says your sim card does not allow connection to this network.
I've also tried to change the way it connects from auto to manual and vice versa, but each time it says unable to connect to this network at this time, please try again later.
I just cannot get it to give me signal unless its on the orignal sim & i'm sure the signal is worse than the stock rom.
I'm assuming it's a radio issue?? only assuming as I would have though I would have the error of invalid sim/network locked etc, but I don't know enough about it really.
So currently the phone sits with the following installed:
Android Version:
4.0.3
HTC Sense Version:

Software number:
ReVoluTion 5en5e Edition v1.0
HTC SDK API Level:

I hope someone can help & if you need more information please let me know!

Try unlocking your SIM again, but while on the new Rom?
Make them boys go loco!
Hi,
I don't get the option to unlock the phone as it accepts the sim, just gives me no signal. Before I unlocked the phone it used to say something along the lines of sim card not accepted, you then had the option to put the codes in to release it from its carrier.
regards,
lee
I had the same problem with my SIM card. Phone is unlocked but one day I see that I don't have any network signal.
So I snoop around trying my friends' SIM cards on my phone and they work.
Went to the office nearby and told them what happened. They said its a malfunctioning SIM card and change it for free.
Now i didn't notice whether I have data traffic working but it resolved my signal problem. Hope this helps.
I've tried 3 different sims on organge and o2 and have the same issue
I've called three mobile (original carrier) and they advise that there is no barring or anything on my profile.
I think I will try to reflash to factory and try again.....I cant think of any other way.

Flashed boot.img & installed the "untouched__rom_v2.0eu_dcplx1" from this site and it does the same thing!
Does anyone know what else i can do?? or have a three mobile rom I can try?
Lee
Ok, managed to speak with three Tech support again, turns out my profile is not ok.
My phones imei has been blocked by........wait for it.........o2!!!!!
they are speaking with the fraud team and will hear back this week. How bizarre.
I don't understand how another network can block my imei from being on other networks apart from the original one? if it's blocked it's blocked surely....
ah well, will wait for the call back and post up with the outcome.
Lee
Spoke to three today who advise the phone is not blacklisted like they originally stated as they have spoken with O2.
They say there is nothing on my profile to block it and it should work.
I don't know where to go on this now.
Can anyone help please?
Lee
I'm FN stuck. I am an iPhone guy and thought rooting/sim unlocking would be similar to the jailbreak process. Two days later, I'm starting to get the feeling that I just screwed my friend.
So they have a Sprint HTC One. I have rooted, S-Off, Sim Unlocked. But for the life of me I cannot get the Straight Talk sim to make calls or get data. Here are some stats:
Android Version: 4.3
HTC Sense Version: 5.0
Software Version: Bad Boyz Sprint ONE v1.2
HTC SDK API: 5.45
PRI Version: 4.38_003
PRL Version: 55015
Baseband Version: 1.00.20.0913_3
Model Number: HTC PN072
Currently: WCDMA preferred, GSM/UMTS Only, the APN info is right. When it comes up and ask me to choose a carrier, I choose ATT. I deleted the ATT APN and replaces with the straight talk one.
Right now, showing cannot find a signal. But when I play with it, it finds a signal and when I make a call, a verizon message comes on telling me it's going to redirect me to someone who will take a credit card so I can complete the call. Or it just gives a fast busy.
What am I doing wrong? I registered the ATT straight talk sim. Maybe I should use the TMobile straight talk sim?

Whenever you get a chance, plug it into the computer and make sure USB Debugging is on. Download the Android SDK, then when you have that unzipped, open up a command prompt window (Windows button+"R" then type cmd, hit enter) navigate to where you unzipped your sdk. then type "adb logcat > logcat.txt then hit enter. While logcat is running try sending a text or making a call then let it sit for about five minutes Then close the command window go into your sdk folder and open the logcat.txt and post it on here, so we can take a look at it.
I wont be much help with a logcat, i just now started using them, but there are plenty of other knowledgeable developers on this board who can help.
I have cincinnati bell running on my sprint one but the only radio that I have found usable is the 1.00.20.0315_1.29.651.7 It is the same one that ends with 315 I believe. Check out this thread and try the first one listed.
I think you need to be on stock rooted to unlock the sim and then flash custom roms but idk im a nub

Hello everyone!
I have recently rooted my phone [ HTC One M7 Sprint ] and I am using it on the SimpleMobile [GSM] network. I have a problem when I drive from one town to the next my phone does not automatically select the new tower and asks for manual switching between [ SimpleMobile, and AT&T ] network operators, which I have to click on.
In any case where I lose connection it asks me to manually select a network operator.

I have tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2647305 and my phone is set to RUIM Only , but it does not seem to effect it at all.
My phone is set to: [ GSM/WCDA/LTE auto ]
Thanks in advance to anyone that will try to help me!!
"I am also having this issue have you found anything yet?
Sorry, but no I have not. I think I read somewhere about flashing some "radios" but I'm not 100% if that is even what I need to do.
Is it all on the 1900mhz band basically if ur gsm only the 1900mhz band is used so whenever you loose the 1900mhz band apparently you lose data completely....
That's the down side to only 1 gsm band the 1900mhz one.... U loose connectivity to a 1900mhz tower.. u lose cellular voice and data...
Unless u have been able to get voice and maybe not data... or something along those lines?
How did you even carrier unlock your phone??? ##3424# shows DM Command Service and I must enter my MSL which I have no idea what it is...
I have the CDMA workshop and htc usb modem driver installed.... connect to COM3 successful.... change anything says Failed to connect to phone.... It communicates the COM port successfully and fails when trying to change anything....
THANKS
I got it working via: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2647305 : the second post. The secret is to set your phone to CDMA mode when using any CDMA tool.
Also: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2255192
I used cdmaDevTerm .2.85.alpha to get my MSL code which is also referred to as an SPC code.
Are you saying that this phone on GSM will always have this issue?
My biggest issue is that when I drive from place to place it loses connection and I have to manually re-select the Simple Mobile carrier by pressing a few buttons.
Supposedly this youtube video fixes the GSM connectivity issue on the Sprint HTC ONE.....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6j5n11UMTk
I believe if the above solution works then great!!! Im sick of my current HTC First because the digitizer screen is cracked and getting corruption....
If I can get this to work I'll be super happy!!! According to the Above fix you need a full version of CMDAWorkshop to fix the issues....
GOOD LUCK AND THANKS!
Thanks for the link but my phone is already set to ruim-only. I used the free qpst software to do it, its a similar software.
I'd say try different APN's .... find all the APN's that work for your network.
Add them all to your phone and make sure they all work first.
Then when service stops or is interrupted, change your APN.
There may be an APP to do this...
I'm now working on fixing my HTC ONE .... Sprint to AT&T ....
I installed the latest HTCSync_3.1.24.5_htc.exe ... Do I then uninstall it or what just leave HTCSync installed?
When I enter the DIAG MODE ##3424#? It says enter MSL number in the DM COMMAND SERVICE.....
So I have HTCSync installed... can I just open CDMA Dev and get it ... lol
interesting stuff
So i figured i try this on my m7 and see if its true. So yes, its true.. you can get tmobile on a sprint phone. It's also true that it does suck and you loose connection often.
logs show lot of goodies but the one i see the most is
GsmSST : plmn(null) name from RIL: null
It's as if the RIL doesn't know whats the preferred plmn is when it looses connection. Guess a deeper look into how the ril keeps track of the plmn would help. Not sure if its a ro prop somewhere that would need to be modified.
so its interesting stuff.
i have a htc m7 sprint ,on viper rom,rooted...i have a problem,i bouht this phone off ebay, fully aware it had bad esn,but got lt lot cheaper thinking i could just unlock the sim,or connect to diffrent network..ive failed at fallowing all the threads so far to sim unlock the phone..i feel like giveing up..i do just want to sell the phone now..but in order to get my money back out this i need to sucssefully get it working with a diffrent carrier so i can tell who ever it works with certin carrier ..can anyone help?.i dont care what carrier or what network to get it working with, jus as long as i can post it on ebay for sale knowing it will work with soneone???
My son and I rooted his Verizon LG G2 with ioroot. FreeGee verified that the phone is rooted. We then tried to backup his efs's but got an error message saying that the it wasn't compatible with the software (even though it is supposed to work on his phone). This leaves us not knowing where to turn next. We can't do anything without backing up the imei first and then need software for the LTE.
This is all so new to us. Can someone tell us which direction to go from here? I know some people say they have T-Mobile LTE on their Verizon LG G2 phone but we just get 3G and were told we'd have to root it (done) and install Rom software to accomplish this. We need software to back up EFS"s (recovery software software) and then software like Paranoid Android for the rest. Trouble is Paranoid Android doesn't really support our phone.
Please help!
Information on his phone:
Verizon LG G2 4G
VS980
Hardware version: RVE 1.0
Android 4.4.2
Software Version: VS98-24A
TIA!!!

You should be able to back up your current rom with EFS via TWRP, is that what you're trying to do?
I think whether or not you get tmo lte on the vzw g2 would depend upon which band lte is available on in your location and if (at all) the vzw g2 supports that band. Its a hit and miss. This is a common issue for Most people using the vzw g2 (or any other vzw high end device with the unlocked gsm sim slot). You will be able to use 3g, but lte is erratic, and in most cases doesnt work.

Hi everyone, I am fairly new to the world of flashing phones. So far i have only flashed s3 and s4 from verizon to pageplus. I recently got a verizon lg g2 (VS980 26A) that I would like to flash to page plus. I have DFS and cdma workshop. I also have MDN, MIN, SID and latest PRL file. I have installed proper drivers as well, and enabled USB debugging, but still have problems connecting the phone to the softwares. The phone is not rooted yet. I plan to root after flashing for no particular reason.
I have searched everywhere but there is no guide or walk through for flashing verizon G2 on pageplus. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
PagePlus has recently gone 4G LTE. If you want their monthly plans all you have to do is get a sim card from PagePlus and you will be ready to go. No flashing required.
