No. This really is just stock firmware package. I will be making a hotspot mod today and will share it separately.

After searching all the 39A threads and QA threads that belonged to them, I found I'm the only person who actually uses the weather animations on the lock screen, which seem to not be working for me. Just wanted to see if it was a "me" issue or just a bug of the build. Don't shun me too hard.

The HD voice will work. As far as 24A question I'm searching for that info as well. Apparently my wife's phone is a little behind on updates.

Doesn't matter what your current version is. Just boot into recovery, flash the 39A bootstack, wipe, and then flash the rom and you're good to go

No, read the OP. Clean flash is a must going from KK to LP

Can anyone please make a small video review. Thanks.

Just want clarification... If I'm going to flash this I will first flash the 39a bootstack, then wipe, then flash the ROM and should be all set, right?
Second question (might be stupid): If I want to restore back to CR Droid, which is on 26a bootstack, would I first need to flash the 26a bootstack before restoring in TWRP, or just restore without flashing the bootstack?

Has anyone tried flashing Cerberus as a system app on this ROM? I get a broken app icon and it force closes as soon as it opens. Running it as a user app works fine. Not sure if this is a problem with the current version of Cerberus or if 39A has something weird going on with it.
Thanks
Edit: Got it resolved. Doesn't look like it was the ROM or the app. Possibly the flash failed or there was some junk (dex file maybe) left over from previous install. Cleaning up and reinstalling worked.

Yes you will need to flash the 26a bootstack before restoring your 26a rom. And yes to your first question on flashing 39a

Did a test yesterday while I was at work. My phone stayed in my car. I had flashed this version a couple days ago. Have limited apps installed at this point. Xposed alpha installed running g3 twesksbox. Smart unlock app running. 4 email accounts set to push notifications (2 gmail, 2 stock app). Wifi, Bluetooth, nfc, location all off. Connected to a good 4g signal. Got emails on 3 accounts and a text. No incoming phone calls. Essentially no screen on time. Started at 100% at 6am after a fresh boot while plugged in. At 4pm my battery was at 99%.
Today I left my phone in the car for 6 hours today. Wifi on but not connected. Location on. Got one missed phone calls, a Google voice notification, a text, emails on 3 accounts, a Google+ notification, and an untapped notification. Hadn't rebooted since the last time mentioned above. Lost 5% in that time (40 to 35).
Started using or on my way home and dropped pretty fast. Phone calls, bad reception in target, price comparing Amazon. Lost 25% in an hour.
Maybe some aspect of lollipop is causing battery drain, but it only appears to be when actively using it. I'm going to keep playing with it. Maybe the kernel is keeping the cpu clocked higher. I'll probably install Better battery stats and amplify to see if anything is obvious.

So far, the only problem I have with this Rom is that I have no sound. I'm sitting in a veterinarians waiting room right now. What can I try? I've attached a screenshot of some info about my phone.

That does sound kind of funny. I copied a post I made in another thread when I had less information (only had the full day with no use). Was getting impatient with myself toward the end (dinner was done) and didn't do a good job editing.
Seriously though, it is curious that standby time is as good as I have ever had but seems drain faster in use. Androids battery stats don't seem to show anything standing out.

New to Atrix HD, Please guide

Hi there,
Ok so I just bought this device in dirt cheap. Its Atrix HD MB886 AT&T running on stock 4.1.1
So I have a couple of problems with this device. For the past few weeks I have been running it on completely stock rom, however I've rooted and unlocked the bootloader. It lags a lot. From homescreen if you just swipe to the left to go in quick settings menu it stutters a bit. It stutters sometimes in the app drawer as well. Someone told me that its stock launcher is laggy so I installed Nova Launcher and it was fine for a week or so then same things started to happen. I've just installed apps like facebook messenger, Twitter, Instagram, Whatsapp, Viber and 1 or 2 very light games and my free ram is around 100mb. I've factory resetted the phone countless times and regularly clear the system cache but the problem still persists. So my question is, If I install custom roms on this device will my experience get any better or will it be the same. Thanks please reply
Have you debloated it?

Short answer: Yes, your experience will definitely get better.
But realize that you're living on the edge and there may be random things that may/not work, so you need to get involved with the forums to troubleshoot errors, or wait it out and hope that later versions fix your problems. I'm running a recent building of CM11 with no issues. Battery isn't quite as good as stock, but overall I'm happy with it. Very snappy, no lag, and lots of customization. Enjoy.

It's in my sig. Currently using Epinter's build of CM11, specifically because it works with the older JB bootloaders (like on the Atrix HD). When this phone officially gets KitKat from Motorola, we won't need the special build anymore, and can just go back to using any msm8960 unified ROM.
I would recommend you to use CM 10.2....it is stupidly awesome and it has the best battery life ever..

Do you have an unlocked bootloader? If not, you cannot flash stock ICS if your phone has stock JB. With an unlocked bootloader, you can install stock ICS.
You are getting the error because you didn't edit or properly edit the XML file in the ROM.

Not sure what to advice on problems report for nightly not yet built. (Nov. 14th) 14.11 is next week
Generally speaking don't jump into advice to Odin flash latest modem.bin and specific NOT NON-HLOS.bin to fix anything. It can create more issues.
When switch between different AOSP /CM based roms (your forum history tell you have been in PAC world lately) a thorough clean-up is best advice. CWM format data, dalvik, cache and /system before CWM flash latest cm-11-20141103 and latest gapps. Or I can confirm CM11 - 1029 with Location mode =device only lock fast on Glonass and US sat.
I have never flashed any modem or NON-HLOS.bin separately to fix whatever.
Sorry, actually i am on cm-11-20141104... So i will try clean my System an re-flash it. Ty

Hi guys,

It happend over night and after I tried to reactivate it, it just shows me the status that "wifi will be activated" but nothing happens. Is this a well-known issue? Are there any fixes for this?

Nope, the i537 has a locked bootloader, so you cannot use any ROM that requires a custom kernel. Start reading about SafeStrap, it's your only choice.
What about the i537?
If this rom doesnt work with it then what does? I really want to run Pac Roms on this phone, because I love how well it runs on my nexus tablet. I just cant find roms for this thing anywhere!

You need to search for SafeStrap compatible ROMs. You'll probably find them in the AT&T S4 forum.
A lot of people have good things to say about Hyperdrive.

Nope, you can use this ROM, you'll just need to put in the T-Mo APN settings in order to connect to the T-Mo network.

Friends, this powerful this ROM, I love, but I have a problem with the camera. sometimes it tells me that my camera could not connect, anyone have any advice to give solution to my problem. I also want to know if it is possible to flash the camera's native s4 active beforehand grace.
Same problem on camera, i think it's related to porting, some libs not perfect.
Usually i made a fast reboot (not fully) and then works .
For flashing native camera, i think that will not work cause many tw files are missing.

Roaming Indicator Flashing
My Moto X (XT1056) works perfectly on stock ROM but when I installed CM11 on it, its roaming indicator started flashing. I have tried changing its network modes but still it keeps on flashing. I can receive messages and calls but can't make any call or send messages. What to do?

In June, I made a mistake that wiped my phone all the way down to boot img. Using adb and my extremely limited knowledge of how to use it, I was able to get this puppy up and running again. Due to money issues, it's just a small entertainment center for me now, (music, movies while I ride the bus, news & books, etc,) so I depend on WiFi heavily. When I (luckily!) Reformatted the phone from scratch, (misplaced my backup, when internal memory was wiped when the oops happened,) cm11 was having problems with WiFi. I believe that, from what I'm reading in the cm11 post, that the WiFi issue is cleared up and I'd like to get up to date, setting as how I'm using an April release. I'm using a sprint moto x, (1056, I THINK!?)
Am I gonna have to find this modem people are talking about, or can I just clean flash up to the latest nightly?
Can anyone throw me a little bone here?
Thanks, all...
Any and all info is greatly appreciated!!!

Before anything, reinstall the stock ROM. After that you can use some custom rom if you want.
Don't forget to back up your data.

Flash stock ROM get GPS lock, boot into recovery flash CM. GPS should work. I have to do this every once in while when GPS starts acting up usually good until you clean flash or switch Roms.

I was having this problem until moments ago. GPS Status and Toolbox would never find a single satellite, though I found it worked fine in stock.
Strangely, Tekanina's advice worked for me on my Xt1053 DE. I restored a TWRP backup of stock (not for the first time), got GPS lock, then flashed the latest CM nightly, got an binary error on flashing, did a wipe, binary error went away, flash succeeded, booted up, got GPS satellites right away! Not sure if it was getting a GPS lock in stock, or the full wipe that fixed this. I though for sure GPS was borked in recent versions of CM on ghost. Seems it isn't!

Unfortunately, no, it doesn't. Due to the lack of a normal notifications LED, this means you get no indication at all of notifications. There is a bright green LED in the earpiece that a couple of people have figured out how to turn control, but apparently it can't be used as a notification LED because (at least for now) it requires a USB connection to turn on:

Quick help for a newbe: where to find New Bootloader
Hi there,
I am a newbe that wants to load a custom rom on my LG P990.
I've read a lot about it already and on this forum etc.
I hope you are willing to provide me a few sentences explanation:
* I want to load CM11, I need the New Bootloader for that. Where can I find the New Bootloader?
* I also found out that there is an All In One Toolkit. Does this toolkit include the New Bootloader? Can I use this All In One Toolkit for flashing CM11 to LG P990?
* It does not become clear to me if I only need to download the ROM or also the kernel? Or does the ROM already include the correct kernel? (e.g. following this latest build/update on this XDA forum: post by gucky01 on 25 Oct. 08:41)
* Finally you can maybe provide me a few words on the difference between 3.1 and M1? Why have two sources of ROMs been developed, why not just continue with 1?
Thanks a lot!
In aio u can change bootloaders
Flash with recovery the twrp 2.7.10.zip search it in development. After boot to your twrp recovery make wipe
And install the rom
The kernel is inside the cm11 rom
OK, I was able to flash to CM11.
Just one question: I searched hell out of google, but I cannot find nowhere TWRP 2.7.10 (or twrp 2.7.10.zip), and not at all for LG P990.
Latest version for LG P990 is TWRP 2.6.00 according to official TWRP site and according AIO-tool.

Bad Battery - Battery life (Advice)
If some of you have noticed sudden "reboot" let's say, I have got an advice for you!
Some months ago, my phone suddenly turned off even if the battery level was up to 80 percent. I was pretty shocked and I did not know what that means. Then my phone tried to reboot but it stucked in bootloop and I could not turn on the phone. Is it caused by rom? I thought. So I removed the battery and inserted back again. I plugged in the charger and then I was able to boot my phone again. It happened very often and I was crying a lot.
It was very annoying so I decided to buy a new battery. I replaced the old one by the new one and now everything works perfectly.
And of course it will take some time to get the new battery working well (I recommend full charging cycles (from 20 percent to 100 percent)).
Do not discharge your battery to 0 percent. It does not like any of the Li-ion batteries.
touch my phone does not work

2) This is most important one, since I have upgraded to above mentioned ROM from stock ICS, its taking ages to get a complete charge. Really need some help here since I was able to get a full charge in like 80mins I guess with stock, however with this one it usually take about 5 hours! for 1500mAh battery?? Really?? C'mon!!
Let me know if there are any workarounds for above posted questions.
Thank you again to all developers, god bless you all
link for the updates
can someone please give me the link to download the new updates
Hey guys, i'd like to ask:
Running 13. October build w/optimizations and latest 3.1 KK.
When I manage to get oom (4 tabs in browser or so), phone becomes unresponsive (as expected), but then the notification bar gets really laggy. Interesting is that when it's extracted to fullscreen, the animations are really slow (5 fps or so) , but when the less i see from navbar, the faster it is. (When i swipe down the bar for just a little bit, it doesn't even lag). Do you know what can cause this problem? I thought it might be rendering problems after systemui.apk got forceclosed while oom.

Can you make a version with F2FS like DJNoXD did?
Unknown issue with Google Play services
Update: I found a solution. Please see post #20 below.
Hi, I've installed the latest tonyp test build 20150130. I did a full wipe but often get "Unknown issue with Google Play services." Any ideas why?
I have installed some of the latest Google apps such as Maps, Play Music, and Hangouts.
Google Play services is currently version 6.5.99 on my phone. I've tried clearing the cache and can't see how to reinstall it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Everything is great except for the camera. I have a problem when recording video . picture freezes . I do not have that problem with ICS . I use the kernel M1 .
Anyone have problem with mobile data?I use last tonyp rom and its fantastic, but same problem i have like on previous roms, mobile data crashed all the time...
Video recording and mobile data work fine here.

As lubosmj says above in post #7, try getting a new battery. I got one off ebay for a cheap price and it really helped!

Hey all, I solved this by updating Google Play services to version 6.6.03. You can find and download it on MihirGosai's [APPs] [SHARE] Google Play Services 6.7.74 and Google Play Games 2.2.09 thread.
Not sure if it made a difference but I also switched from CWM to TWRP 2.8.1.0 found on DJNoXD's [RECOVERY] [newbl] TWRP 2.8.1.0 touch recovery [2014-11-30] thread.
Things seem a lot more stable after these two changes.
Thanks for the awesome ROMs tonyp!!

questions about the temasek build
So before I apply the update to the new update to temasek do I need to flash the bootstack for it to work even coming from your optimized cm 12.1 builds? And if so what bootstck do we need? Thanks.
Edit: sorry I guess I read the discussion post to fast, I guess that's for people coming from stock or anything other than kitkat

Lol it's ok, no big deal. But yes, that is for users coming from stock LP
Thanks! I'm really looking toward to trying this out. Your work on the optimized cm 12.1 was amazing. And I'm still excited for Pitchfork if you are still working on that :good:
Temasek rom on d405N with LG quick case
Hi, am trying your latest right now, great job again.
Clean install using slim mini gaps as per your link.
Some issues/ remarks
1: First boot appears to get stuck on CM boot anim. (blue flashing andr. head) longer than with other roms, then goes straight to lock screen, no android updating popup etc. as has been my experience with other roms. So don't pull the battery too quickly (as I did at first attempt), patience is a virtue:angel:
2: Initial set up menu doesn't get past ''Checking connections'', (this may take up to 2 minutes) yeah right, so I hit back and skip and I setup wifi later.
3: Takes longer than for instance your optimized rom to get a cell connection after inserting sim pin.
4: Root acces problems. As has been mentioned in main thread.
5: Quick case working as it should opening and closing the case, missing other functionality, but this is great:highfive:,
That's it for quick impressions, keep up the good work and good night.
Is this rom working better than CM12.1? Does apps start up faster etc...
Love the ROM so far! Default CM root was working until the first reboot (tested with su command in the virtual terminal). The su command in terminal continued to work fine after reboot (remembered permission), but new apps could not get the root request notification. So I had to flash SuperSU as suggested. It does take some time to boot up after the flash but it's well worth. Got like 700 more points in AnTuTu!
Keep up the great work!
Is it possible to update to the latest build without loosing installed apps, configs etc?

You can always try, but considering LP development is going crazy lately, you may or may not run into issues. If you do have an issue, try a clean install

There are kernel settings you can adjust that seem to minimize the reboots. But sometimes without even changing any settings, I can go days without a reboot. Then sometimes I'll get 3 in like an hour or 2. But if you mess with some settings, you can find ways to almost get rid of the random reboots

Thanks, I will try messing with the settings. Although, sometimes touch screen has some problems responding, locking and unlocking the screen fixes it. Despite its bugs, its still a awsome ROM. :good:
Hi guys So I have been wanting to install this rom, I was reading the directions and it says I must have an unlocked bootloader but I remember reading somewhere else that the bootloader is technically unlocked. Is that true? I just don't want to install this rom and cause a bootloop or something
Btw my device is the D415
Thanks
No notificatinos
Does anybody knows what happen with notifications? I hear them but they not appear in the notification bar.
Outstanding ROM, it works smoothly, looks divine, only thing is that It won't detect my Sim card, i flashed this to a LG L90 D400HN working on carrier Telcel in MX, other than that it's awesome... thanks a million dev

Wow, that's the first time I've heard mention of a D400HN. Have you tried any of the other custom ROMs? And if so, is your sim card recognized on them?

Well @CaptivateKing, it's the one on Mexican market, as long as I know N is for NFC, i still haven't found out what is it about the H lol, ok... I got great news, I hope these are helpful for other people (not much noisy guys in LatAm trying to mod their LGs I'd imagine, but anyways I'll tell you my experience anyway), not more than 5 minutes ago, I ended up tweaking my D400HN and it's now working beautifully with your ROM mate (thanks a lot, I'm still mesmerized... it's like having a new phone lol), the huge issue with the sim card was the Bootstack... I'll be honest, I started this rom-changing thing with an old but faithful Verizon's Samsung Fascinate I got from the States a while ago, but never worked on LG until now, 6 months ago I decided to pass on my guarantee and rooted the phone and started to tweak it, long story short, I couldn't get it to work on this KDZ app by LG so I was getting desperate, started trying with some ROMs and discovered in a thread (I think it was @Xemidra, or someone else referred someone to his Bootstack thread if I'm not mistaken, [and I'm actually looking for the post to thank him lol]), the thing is that after flashing BOOTSTACK_v1.4_D405N-10F while on your ROM the phone inmediatly recognized my sim card, now im happy... trying to learn little by little about Java and all this new world... I'd really love the camera to record video and that'll be it for your ROM sir... I haven't had not a single reboot, not a glitch or anything, it just gets slightly clumsy at times but it's almost noticeable...
so, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Ahh yea, the bootstack issue! I included a little disclaimer about that in the OP I'm glad you are enjoying the ROM so far!

Absolutely love this ROM! Flashed clean 20150606 and than did the OTA update when the new build came out. Recovery script worked fine, automatic reboots, flashing, etc. just like regular OTA update. System UI crashed a couple of times after update, I think because of Nova Launcher. Went back to Trebuchet and it didn't crash since, not even a reboot. Haven't experienced any SIM problems. Enjoying it very much on my LG-D405n.
